- I think this may be the most "rustic" (aka ugliest) soap I've ever made! With that being said, it's full of natural goodness, and is still an amazing bar of soap😅 The essential oils caused it to seize up and it was a total challenge to get in the mold 😭 I'll show you how I fix "air pockets" in the finished bar. #soapmaking #essentialoils #soap

Good morning, it went crazy didn’t it. Let me say this. Do you know this soap is absolutely beautiful. All the earth tones and imperfections is awesome. It’s a healing soap, what better than Mother Earth. You might have created the best healing soap on the market. Love love love

They cleaned up nicely! Honestly, with the essential oils, salt, and rustic marble and stone look to them they are about as natural as you can get! You can call them Salt of the Earth bars, Mineral and Stone....something like that. I know it wasn't the look you were hoping for, but it's amazing how much they truly look like stone and there are soapers who try to get that look on purpose. I also really appreciate how honest you are - soaping doesn't always go well and there are plenty of imperfections and you don't sugar coat or hide that fact!

I have to say this is one of the best looking soaps I've seen. I LOVE the color and the uniqueness of each soap. Please don't let this discourage you from making more soap like this. This is quite attractive on how the natural process turn out and it's actually helpful for those who are struggling with breakouts. Great job, Ellen! I will definitely buy soap from you!

I am a fan of your channel as of late:). You inspire me to create more rustic soaps:). I have had ugly and let me say that people buy how it helps them and how it smells most of the time :). Love that soap and how it turned out!

I made a similar recipe in the beginning of the year, Ellen. The soap was formulated for acne prone skin. My 18 yr old loves it and says it really helps keep the acne at bay.
