Had the first initial stick blending just gone to emulsification instead of light trace, you would have had a thinner batter on pouring into the mould, after the waiting around of clay in the beakers and second stick blending. Clays are so thickening, but it’s great to see how effective they are. Lovely soap recipe Ellen, and I see you have a few more Clay detox since this video 3 years ago. Bless ya.
Beautiful. I've got my eye on that mold also, I've had it in my cart for a few weeks, I think I'll get it soon. I have a detox soap curing on my racks, mine is just solid black but I really love the contrasting colors in your bars! I really love your videos, ellen! I'm a retired homeschool mama also. My son's are 34 and 32 and my daughter is 29. We have wonderful memories of our homeschool years, we had a blast! Have a great day! Judy
Hi Judy, so good to hear from another homeschool mama! My first born is turning 29 this week. I miss the old days, but really love being a Grandma now ...
Dear Ellen thank you for your video. If you would use bentonite in the hot process soap in which stage would you add it ? Would you mix from the start or would you add it at the end with the yougart
Oh you seen the link for the pictures the information states that they hold temperatures up to 135°. Wondering if in your soap making if you have tested that temperature. I don’t like to use the microwave to melt down my soaps. I use a double boiler method so I use glass pitchers but it’s hard to find tall glass pictures like yours. So just wondering if you’ve ever taken the temp of your oils inside the pitchers pure your research question for me.

You could mix it in with the melted oils or after the cook, with the yogurt.. Both will work👍
Sounds so luxurious and healthy, do you mind to share what oils are there please?
Thank you! The list of ingredients is listed with the bar on my web site😉
Luv your videos all the time. What stick blender are you using? Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks! That's an old Hamilton Beach blender..
@@EllenRuthSoap Thank you so much!!!
TFS in your lye solution is it only aloe vera juice and lye or do you add water too?
I get organic Aloe Vera juice in gallon jugs and typically I use all Aloe. Once in a while I'll do a water/ Aloe 50/50 mix
