- This is "take 2" of my All Natural CLEAR-UP bars. Super fast trace / seize, and I'll show you how I fix airpockets caused by super thick soap batter. This soap is such a challenge 😝 but so worth it! They still came out looking like granite or marble... #allnatural #essentialoils #soap

You make the most beautiful soaps, and you are an inspiration for me. I can't order from you because I'm in Canada, but I am making some of your soaps... you are the reason I began to research essential oils, and It has changed my life. Thank you for being such an amazing inspiration and for taking the time to share your craft with the world.
🥰 thank you for your encouraging words 💕
Oh! I thought the design was real beautiful, never would have guessed it was an accident! I would call it a 'Marble Soap', and works wonderfully. I love soaps that look organic / natural like this one!!!
🥰 thank you. It really does look like some kind of stone😅
I love how you are always so excited when you are explaining all the ingredients and why you selected them (for their awesome skin loving benifits). Your clear-up bars are both artisan and earthy, a perfect match for your ingredients.
😊 thank you💕
I absolutely agree: beautiful marble look! An all natural look for an all natural soap.
🥰 thank you
I love that unexpected event, because it shows an example that happens in the soap world! I love your honesty for sharing that
Thank you so much!
Fast trace but I love the marble like look of it. I've been making soaps for about a year now, I haven't gotten the nerve to post any videos yet but you inspire me to continue, thank you!
It looks beautiful to me. One of my daughter 's friend brought me a beautiful cutting board made from marble because he knows I love to cook! I cried. It's darker than the soap. Both soaps are gorgeous!
What a great bar! I'm hoping to snag some. I love the holes, I love rustic!! The plus is the scents, I love a GREAT medicinal scented bar. Love your video's!!
And the winner is.... Ellen again, beautiful, thank you for sharing
Thank you so much! You're so kind!
Love this look!!!! Thank you helping me not to panic when this happens. Just go with the flow!
Thanks 🤣 it's always an adventure 😂
I had a jasmine/geranium combo freeze on me once like that and I ended up with a marble looking soap that everyone loved. Your bars are not a fail. They are actually beautiful. I know I’m looking at a three year old video but I’ve had a request for activated charcoal in the soap, so I’m watching and learning from you. You are my inspiration and I love all your work. I couldn’t do what I do without being educated by you. I love making soap. Thank you so much Ellen. ❤
Gonna make this for sure, a few years on from your video creation. It clearly stands the test of time! Thank you Ellen. xx
WOW,,,,I LOVE THIS SOAP LOOK!!! THE COLORS AND SALT ARE GORGEOUSNESS ❤️
I actually LOVE these bars and wish I’d found this tutorial sooner!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
I actually bought your sample pack and your 1st try at this soap was included. It was my favorite. It was beautiful! And the smell...AMAZING!
🥰 thank you so much 💕
I think they’re gorgeous, and really fun to watch. I did a wintergreen soap for Christmas, and yes, it was a gasp every time.
A Rob Ross...lolol...I love watching you make soap...These are awesome.
All soap is good soap, Ellen, It looks good, you always make lovely soap. Despite the fast-tracing oils you added, go easy on yourself!! It will be excellent for the skin!! Fill it in and keep it moving. If you don't like them send them to me!!! Thank you for all your videos.
This soap is FIRE!
Soap looks amazing! It is handmade - and therefore it should have some natural perfect imperfections.
Love how positive you are - and l laugh so much on the "lipstick on the pig". :D And...putting your stamp on the side - very clever - never seen it before. Thank you so much for sharing! Keep up the beautiful work! you are doing! 🤩
Thank you so much!
Good afternoon, I tell you that one gave you a run for your money. You kept your cool. Which was great. It’s funny how you think it’s a disaster until you unfold. Then it’s like yeah I can work with this. I’m saying I totally understand. You know they turned out perfect. It’s different people in this world and we all don’t like the same things. So far you have over a thousand people watching and no negative comments. That means you and your soaps are pretty awesome. Be safe and have an awesome day
Thank you Cheryl for your encouragement! Have a wonderful day!
You are so brave for going for it again, the design is so cool and the skin benefits are worth your efforts! Thank you for sharing I have learned so much from watching.😊
Thank you so much!
i love it allen rustic marble
It is absolutely beautiful!!
Love the look. They are beautiful bars❤️
thank you💕
Love your incorporation of healing products. Inspires me as a novice soap maker
Thanks! Have fun soaping😊
it's a shame, but after all I find it a very beautiful soap, I like it😍
Ellen I think this soap looks beautiful!! I know the process wasn't ideal, but the result is excellent! I love it when I get a notification that you have a new video!!
Thank you so much!💕
I just order some of your soap this morning...I can't wait for it to arrive!!
Beautiful job. I really enjoy watching you make soap 🧼
Thank you 💕
Thanks for the hole filling tip!
Works like a charm❣️
Those look beautiful
Lol, well done!!!!that actually looks great 👍🏽
I was laughing when you mixing it... and read the subtitle "what technique is this?" 🤣🤣🤣😂 but your soap turned out still gorgeous! Loving it!😍😍😍
😂🤣 as I was doing it, I’m like “what in the world am I doing😅”
Me too . I can't stoping laughing.
Just love it
Beautiful!
Organo oil is also great for soar throats and helps prevent strep throat too. That is so cool how you repair the soaps with holes
Lol! 😆 You handled that so well Ellen. I would have been a mess. I think they look great and such lovely ingredients 😊
Thanks so much
Fantastic! Love the look! And on top of it, it’s good for you 😀
Thanks 🥰
Turned out great looking 👌
Thanks 👍
These are really cool! I've never heard of anyone putting witch hazel in the soap. I love how you have so many ideas for different ingredients. They look great!
Thank you so much! It's a bit tricky to work with, but I really like it!
My heart was pounding watching you try to get it in the mold fast!!! Well done you make very beautiful soaps! ☺
Thanks 🤣
This looks gorgeous. Please do another remake 😄
thank you!!
Wow! I totally missed this one! Would have definitely added this to my life.
I absolutely love it it looks like something that came out of the Earth! It's so beautiful! 🙏❤️❤️
Thank you! I does look "earthy"...
It’s marbelous 🥰😅!! I love it!!
Thanks 🥰
I'm waaaayyyy late to this party, but that soap looks amazing ❤ I will wait a while until I try and make something that advanced 😂😂
I seriously love these. I am trying to get mine exactly as pretty as these. Wish me luck
Thanks! They come out different every time😅
Hello 👋🏼 gorgeous marble soap full of healthy additives and EO! I had a funny moment here. Thanks for your patience 👍🏼😘. Love the finished soaps! Any round 3??? 😂😘
Thank you!🤣💕
You may think this soap is ugly but I think it looks so pretty! I love the stone look
Thank you so much!
I'm a rustic soap gal; no floofing, lucky if I get an occasional swirl. I agree however on the filling of holes. Thanks for round 2 of oregano oil; now I know not to try it with hot process and to dump the oils, dump the soap 😉👍
🥰💕
Oh Mercy! Choppy Chop! Lipstick on a 🐷! Hey Ellen You did it again❗️Marble Beauty Bars. Your creations are always beautiful 🥇🖤💛🧡
🤗 Thank you!
You are so good at sounding positive during this. I would have been squealing and yelling no! Lol But it turned out really nice despite the acceleration!
Oh thank you!
Those look way cool!!
🥰💕
I like this and am gonnna make it. Tq again Ellen❤️
Pretty! 😍
Thank you 💕
Yes … I was adventurous once with witch hazel and once with apple cider vinegar…. I got that out of my system🤣🤦♀️🤣🤦♀️❤️❤️❤️
I love the ingredients, I think they look perfect for the soap that it is!
Thank you 💕
Looks great!
Thank you 🥰
Oh boy, this has happened to me a time or two. If you held back the EO and poured only one color at a time, this would make an excellent layered soap. I think it looks cool anyway.
It does look like a marble, countertop and natural stone… I think it’s pretty
I’m a novice at soap making but I’ve been watching tons of UA-camr’s to learn all I can. I think out of all of the soap makers I’ve watched, you are my favorite. I made your dish soap bar recipe last week and they turned out great. I can’t wait to try this recipe. Do you think you could also add some pine tar and or sulfur in to this recipe as one of the ingredients or would it mess it up? Thank you so much for all of your free recipes and tutorials!
What do you put on your face because your skin always looks so glowy and beautiful?
Pine tar and sulfur can speed up trace, so be aware of that when you're working with them. I use soap and water to cleanse, along with a good retinol and moisturizer, thanks🥰
@@EllenRuthSoap 👍
Looks great to me!! 💞 When I have a soap like that like, I either do a dump each one right after the other at one go (don't try to do a second round) OR add scent to one colour at a time and do layers! That works great with transitional colours especially!! 👍
Thanks! Those are great suggestions👍
Madame it's perfect! Also the benefits of the bars really good for the skin
Thank you!
Granite it's so pretty
🥰💕
Beautiful😍.. I am making soaps n you are the reason.. N learning from your videos
Thanks so much 😊
what a way to keep your cool! I'm like everybody I love the look of that Soap its awesome!
Thank you 🤣💕
I think they turned out beautiful. My style! ^_^ The first half seemed to go okay, maybe do the bottom half and top half in two steps (not mixing the fragrance into the second half until go-time). And maybe a charcoal line in between. But really, it's gorgeous, and I love the colors!
Great idea!! I do think splitting the batch would help!
Beautiful marble work.. Loving your explanation too.. I wish i can start with my soap making journey too
Beautiful!!! Love it!!! Amazing healing soap!!💕
Thanks!
I love that.
I'm game to make it again, Used the additives with my recipe after watching you do this last time, I laughed at the pig comment exactly the same as last time. 😄, I also had a pig at the end 😂😂, Your pig is prettier than mine. 😂.
Ellen's itm swirl New Technique.. It's looks awesome hun. I can't even get my SOAP rebatching to come out right it's all crumbly..
Thank you 🥰
Gorgeous again. Lovely rustic look😘
🥰 thanks 💕
Love love this soap, got it for my twin teen boys. Also love the banana soap. Thank you!
🥰 so glad you like it 💕
New viewer here. Your soap is beautiful!
Thanks so much for watching 💕
These look cool 😊
Thanks so much!
It is still pretty, as long as you enjoy doing it you will have a nice master piece.🥰🥰🥰
Thanks, I do enjoy it, even though it gets a bit stressful trying to get it in the mold😂
It looks fine. Lol you were much less panicked on this batch. Lol God bless. It would seem like the tumeric and charcoal would still stain your skin. Would like to see you lather this one up.
Thanks! A lather test is a great idea, because it doesn't stain skin at all after it's made into soap😉
Hahahhahahaaaa 😆 your captions are like little ad libs... very funny. Good job also, new soaper myself and this “all natural” type of soap was the first I tried, same struggle... little did I know then
🤣 some soaps really make you work for it 🤣💕
I love your videos! I just found your channel today and you are just the best! I have learned so much and I’m only on my second video! You could totally call this soap your “Don’t Take Your Skin For Granite” 😂 bar! Love love love. Thank you for your positivity, it’s so refreshing.
Welcome 💕 so glad you're here! Love the name idea 🥰
Lol same thing happened to me yesterday. Batter thickened up as soon as I added the fragrance/essential oils lol. Yours looks good though!
🤣 I think it’s happened to us all at one time or another🤣
I love it 🥰
🥰💕
Also sounds like a great candidate for HP! Might bypass some of the acceleration issues caused by the EOs???? ❤❤, k
Yes 🙌 I've been pondering that, this might be a good one for HP
Try using only ice instead of water for the lye solution or freeze what you are using before you add the lye. Hardly heats up and no fumes
Thanks for the tip💕
Wow Ellen! This one is more Unisex looking instead of 'Blokey looking' . I love it! I want some.
The lipstick on a pig comment is gold 🤣😂😆🐷🐖🐽
Thank you 💕🤣😂
That looks good. Could be a winner for the soap collaboration of Aug. The theme was stone or marbled soap. This happen to me using Vanilla Lace fragrance and it looked rustic, so I called it Rustic Vanilla, Lol.
Thanks! Yes, I love the word "rustic" it's a good cover description word🤣
Its too bad you dont ship to norway... id love to try some of your soaps. LOVE the designs and the ingredients.. 💜
Thank you 💕 someday I hope to have international shipping...😚
Your so cute. Staying positive😂🤩. I love your attitude! Its an awesome soap! Great job! Maybe in the pot swirl?
Thank you 🥰 yes, ITPS might be a better option 🤣
I totally agree with! Always positive. I enjoyed this video because I wanted to see what it would like for a soap batter to trace quickly and how to approach it. I was stressing along with you but the soap came amazing I love them! ❤️
I so enjoy your channel. Your soaps are beautiful. I like how you share your insight as you select ingredients. One question though. Do you water discount in your recipes? Thank you, Ellen.
Thank you 🥰 yes, I do a water discount on most of my batches
Beautiful swirl! Another happy outcome! Have you tried hydrating your clays before adding to your oils? Doing so might mitigate some of the acceleration issues caused by the clay pulling water/liquid from your batter... just a thought... ❤, k
That's a good suggestion 👍 I do try to blend the clays into the oils and let them absorb in there, but hydrating them first is a good idea!
Look at how close to 10,000 you are! 😃
I'm so excited 🙌
The soap is absolutely beautiful. I'm a newbie to soaping. Do you think you could have added extra virgin olive oil to slow trace? Would it have worked?
Thank you! With the additives I'm using, I don't think it would have made a big difference😉
I think this one is pretty too. You did a good job of at least faking calm while it was seizing. LOL.
🤣😂 thanks! Could you see my hands shaking😅
@@EllenRuthSoap no I didn't notice. We've all been there. I would have been yelling.😂
the same thing happened to me- Manggo + Charcoal + Manggo FO = horrible result.... hahahha... you doing well....
Keep on soaping!🥰
I would name this soap "Serendipity".
I've heard other diapers say that Rosemary oil causes acceleration, as well.
Yes, I thinks it's a factor too
*soapers
Jo Beck 🤣 I've seen that auto correct before 😂
Wondering if you had two other people help you pore all at the same time ? Looks great!!
I was by myself, but I bet some extra hands would help!😅 Thank you!
I love your videos and you inspire me with your creativity. Where do you get your oregano essential oil?
I use several different suppliers, I like NOW brand...
I thought I was smart once and put turmeric in my DIY deodorant - that was a very funny "oh no" moment. Luckily I found out there is another form of turmeric that you can add to cosmetics without getting mustard yellow armpit stains :)
Oh, that’s a great story🤣💕
Ellen I'm sorry your crackin me up
🤣💕
These look great! And thanks for the tip on filling in the holes. I would never have thought of that!
Thanks 💕
