    Excellent review!
I have an over 50 year love affair with Case knives; ever since I first saw them displayed at a Western Auto store when I was a kid, in 1972.
I carried a trapper for many years. They have always served me well.
I don't have near as many Case knives as some I've seen, but I'm pretty happy with the ones I have.
True, they have had some quality control issues through the years, so I don't usually buy them anymore unless I can hold and inspect it in person. Otherwise, I ask a lot of questions when purchasing them online.
Overall, I'm still in love with them. Like yourself, I mostly carry them as pocket jewelry.. it's a nostalgic thing for me.
Some other patterns I'd like to see reviewed are: small saddlehorn, sowbelly, Panama trapper, tribal lock, copperlock, Barlow, stockman (medium and large), toothpick, etc.
Thanks for the time and effort you put into your review. With all the negativity out there, it's nice to see some positive comments. Particularly when it comes to slipjoints, and the history of them. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your kind words ! I’m happy you enjoyed the video. I think for most, traditional folders and slip joints hold a special place in our hearts and are still loved even today!

@@RockyMountainEDCI hate that case has such bad quality control problems
They make beautiful knives, but I have trouble buying a 60-80 dollar knife with blade wobble.

Nice looking example of amber bone on your trapper there! I collect that specific handle cover material due to case typically releasing every pattern with it, doesnt cost as much as stag or their bone imitation stag but is still a natural material instead of the yellow synthetic.

I just dropped over $600 on. TRM Shadow and Neutron2 in Ti and the funny thing is I still go back to my 75 stockman in yellow jigged bone. There’s just something about the older slip joints.
