Boom Vader Grom Clone 2020 Not Getting Fuel to the Carb

  • This quick video will show you why your Boom Vader Grom Clone may not be getting free flowing gas from the hose that feeds the filter down to the carburetor. The problem may be that the vent hose from the top of the tank may be pinched a little from the plastic mounting around the tank. The biggest problem may also be the check valve incorrectly installed thats not allowing the tank to vent properly which will stop the free flow of gas to the carb.

    Amazing g. I took off the fairings today and notice a hose was pinched so I took it and assumed it was that. I honestly think it's this. First off I took of the gas cap off and there was so much pressure inside when I opened it which I find strange. So I go to start it starts. You think that's the problem on mine.

    Quick question. I just checked my valve. Does the arrow has to go towards tank direction, or the opposite direction? Thank you

      It’s been awhile but I believe it the arrow goes to the charcoal canister direction away from the tank. If you blow into the valve it will only allow
      Air to flow one way which would be where the flow of pressure out of the tank going the same direction out to the charcoal canisters

      If the valve is upside down air will not flow in either direction that is the problem I had

    Ok so ive done this, before that a carb cleaning followed instructions to the t replaced fuel filter its facing correct way adjusted the flows every wich way nothing balances out … but mine wont start or turn over any advice is apprieciated its my first bike and it wasnt supposed to be a project

      Check for spark at the plug to ground. Also might try to pop the gas tank lid to ensure no vacuum lock preventing fuel flow. On a non flooded motor always crack the throttle about 1/4 each start. I get good starting every time even when the bike sat for over a month. There could be other issues with incorrect idle fuel adjustment. Turning the idle fuel screw in with lean and increasing idle. This is not the idle fuel mixture screw which on the OEM carb it’s tampered proof

      first I would delete all the emissions crap. Take off the fairings so you can see everything. On 1 side near the tank you will see a black canister. That thing is JUNK. remove the canister. that canister causes the gas tank vapor lock. On the bottom side of the motor there is more emissisions. Remove the 2 bolts/plate and install a block off plate. "Universal Block Off Plate FOR 50cc QMB139". You also need a 12mm air breather for the crank case hose. The stock carb is not very good at all. Bone stock it took me a while to get mine running. I would take off the stock carb, and run the VM22. Amazon or ebay for about $30. There is a screw on the bottom of the VM that controls the fuel. You want that screw 2 turns out. remove the air box and trash it. Once you have a new VM22 carb, with all the emissions gone, the bike should run wayyyy better than stock, with more power. ALSO....trash the fuel lines, they are not good for fuel with ethanol. Get some new fuel lines that can withstand ethanol. MORE notes....watch the engine mount bolts, they are weak. Most people uprade the bolts to grade 12 zinc bolts made in america. GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENS !!

    If your still having the same problem it’s the gas cap

    • @radpaul2574
      @radpaul2574  4 роки тому

      I think Ca emissions don't allow the gas cap to be vented thats why it needs to vent to the charcoal canister

      @@radpaul2574 mmm that prob why that stupid tho bc the bike won’t work without a vented tank

      I'm assuming it's the gas cap too. Because I literally took it off after it not starting and placed it back on and it stadted.. when I leave it on for a while (gas cap) and take it off with the bike off there is alot of pressure. And I find that real strange
