Pretty good unboxing video anyway. Turns out even before I take my clone out of its box I have all the OEM Honda front-end parts, over 5 hundred for just the two Honda OEM wheels, but I'll have all Honda forks, brakes everything. Custom aluminum swing-arm in the back with Honda OEM spring shock. 141cc kit.
@@user-uc5tj6ux8w Many people buy cars because of how they look. Maybe I should buy a Honda Grom and make it look like the Chinese version. The world buys more Chinese products than they do Japanese products, must be a reason for that, probably not quality but just rather looks. Although the Chinese economy doesn't look too good right now. lol
to install the shock bolt, place a stepladder across the seat and use a rachet strap from the ladder to the bike and rachet it up until the shock bolt hole und the hole on the bike mount line up and install the bolt.
how often do they suggest an oil change on these bikes after the first 500 / break in period??? also, This is probably BY FAR the BEST unboxing / set up tutorial I have seen for a Clone yet.. Thank you for the time you took putting this video together.
I have a black one exactly like this. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it's all still in the box with nothing touched, EXCEPT for the front wheel I pulled out. I'm not doing another thing to any of it until I put one of my two new Michelin tires on that front wheel, with new bearings. I also ordered a grom front axel. Assembly of the whole bike will proceed like this, and I expect it will take me a couple of months before the bike is ready start for the first time. I already have the 141cc kit.
@@BackyardRC Money is no obstacle for me, I thought seriously about buying a Honda grom, but I don't like the way the Japanese make things look, but I love the way the Chinese make things look. How is this bike holding ? up not sure if I should spend more and get a Grom or just buy one of these it seems like the fuel injection is all i would be missing besides a little quality control.
I have had many of these and ended up giving this one to my grandfather for him to ride around town. It has been holding up very well besides having to fix the fuel tank venting issue. Has about 5k miles on it. It is all stock carb and exhaust. Personally all of mine have different exhaust and carbs but he likes quiet. I have a true Grom and a few clones. The grom is nice fit and finish and the fuel injection is nice, however if you are old school and can adjust carbs, I like the clones better for ease ability of tuning(Don't need to send ecm to get flashed for each mod). I wouldn't be afraid of either.
I bought my clone from a friend and the main (10A) fuse blew a couple days ago. When I went to check the wiring, I couldn't find the other (5A) fuse, but I found what I think is a spot for a fuse. Just to double check, do you know where the 5A fuse should be located?
For the price, especially in todays market, it’s not bad. Definitely has its flaws though. If you can work few a few of them, it’s not bad, but if you want a ready to run machine out the box this isn’t it. I would highly suggest the SSR Razkull 125 over the venom/boom vaders anyway.

Hey. I just bought a grom n have all kinds of spare parts and only found out where one part goes. Can you help me find out where the rest of the parts go?
On the very bottom of the carb bowl, you will see a small screw with a plastic line running down. Loosen this screw(make sure your gas is shut off of you will drain your tank) and it will drain the fuel in the bowl. Once it stops, tighten it and turn fuel back on.
