I 3d printed the case I’ll share that file with the stand no problem. I made a push button feature on the back of the case to push the buttons on the video board. But depending on where your video board buttons are located that the hole cutout may not line up. I add the link here soon

I have the OMB muffler end but I bought a pipe from another dealer. In the end I made my own pipe out of Home Depot black gas pipe and bent that on a harbor freight pipe bender. Then I took a manifold plate and welded it to the gas pipe. That’s why it was so long. It turned out pretty good and sounds good. Added the silicone black insulation as well on the pipe

You can download the 3d print file and make one or someone close by to make it. I can also make you one as well. The bad is that the print cover hides the original welded bracket on the bike that I had to bend in a bad way to get things to line up. Not ideal but with the cover you don’t see it. I also had to cut the metal chain guard shorter to make it fit. I used some spacer on the back bolt hole of the chain guard bracket to make it fit as well. I didn’t want the. Chain to slap the guard all the time so it’s mounted higher to prevent that

On mine I added the OMB bracket that braces the cable better and then the cable connects to the carb

I have the riser plate and I had it setup with the oem exhaust but it was way hot on my pants.

I read on some one else’s post that they had loose bolts on the rod bearing cap. Which would make me believe that would cause a knock in a bad way.

@@radpaul2574 I am not an easy rider but I don't believe what I did should have caused it to knock. I didn't remove the governor or anything like that. I was always told on fresh engines break them in like you are going to use them. Also don't hold a consistent idle. Not sure I am going to clain it under warranty yet or just tear it down and see if its rebuildable. If its rebuildle then I will rebuild it to take my style of riding. I'm not into jumping or hard abusive trails. But I do like a responsive throttle and out of the whole romps.

The stock setup I changed because I was getting the siphon effect with wet gas getting into my filter then I was getting vapor lock which shutdown the engine about a mile after riding. I would then undo the gas cap and start back up. So, I have zip tied the hose with the filter up onto the frame above the tank. Problem fixed

Fun and relatively cheap over a Japanese’s dirt bike!

In actuality it’s not a real cheap project to take on. But, if you can successfully secede in building it then I think it’s worth the effort. Considering to buy something similar is priced allot higher. Ok here’s what it Wii cost roughly. The LCD panel is pricey at about 109.00 including a 12v transformer. Will need 5 dual rotary encoder switches EC11’s 25.00 two single encoder switches 10.00. Pack of push button switches 100pc need about 32. 18.00 for 100. Will need two Arduino Mega micro controllers about 40.00. A pack of clear or blue 3mm LEDs for back panel lighting about 10.00. One 4 way hat switch for pan and zoom 7.00 each one needed. About 125ft of 24g wire. 15.00. Misc screws 10.00. A pack of 150ohm resistors 7.00. Another 12v transformer 1amp for all the LED lighting 7.00. Minus all the 3d printer cost it’s at least 258.00.

It looks great and the price is significantly cheaper than the ones preassembled. The g1000 also looks like a fun project to learn about arduino and 3d printing

@@Vinz913it is a fun and rewarding box when done. The programming is one of the easiest things but time consuming. What I do is keep the led circuit separate from the arduino circuit and it’s 5volt power supply coming from the computer usb that is also the highway bus for only switching inputs only I build out the led circuit first and test it along the way to make sure I don’t wire them up incorrectly then work on the digital inputs from the switches to Arduino. Arduino is not hard to hook up but to keep track of what PIN number from Arduino to what switch is pin needs to be written down to setup Mobiflight connection

How did you deal with : the center push press always ON with Direction Push?

@@jpatty5473not really sure about that. What kind of behavior does the switch exhibit when functioning that way? Mine seems to work as intended. But, I’ve never operated a real Garmin before to know what the real functional behavior of the switch should be

@@radpaul2574 oh , not for garmin just in general, i have read on the spec sheet , and other people using tthe switch as a hat switch in panels etc. As you push a direction, the center push is activated as well. Like in windows joystick device, does 2 buttons get pushed when you move up for example? Ive seen complex solutions using diodes to make it so the center is blocked out with direction pushes, and only works when you actually push the center. Not sure! I ordered it to experiment , and i am building a f16 up front controller

No problem. You will need to download a program called Mobiflight and it’s free! It will update your Arduino Mega board so the board can communicate with the flight sim. It’s pretty simple when you get the hang of it. It truly makes this all work nicely stay tune to more updates

When in Microsoft flight sim. All you do is press the right side keyboard Alt button and left click on the mouse when the mouse pointer is in the screen of the Garmin in the flight sim. That will copy the image to the new flight sim box. Keep in mind that your computer video card is going to need at least two video output connections one for the main monitor and one for the sim box. Two sim boxes then three video outputs needed in the computer video card.

To get to the pin good I would remove the whole cover. Get a impact screwdriver to remove the screws cause they are on tight and can be hard to remove

Yes I can, I downloaded the 3d print files from Heli mech at ua-cam.com/video/B2yPAKXtyn8/v-deo.html&si=1NOrgYhipkiLorML Now this video is his version 1. Go to his site and download his version two which has the plan for the pan and zoom switch like in my video. I also followed his suggestion to laser the front lighted panels using 3mm white acrylic painted black. That turned out really good on my button light ups. He has a parts list to order from. I got my lcd from Amazon. Make sure when getting a lcd that it comes with the driver boards. This is not a cheap project but cheaper than buying something prebuilt. I estimate about 300.00 to. Complete. He has the wiring diagram to download and use that to follow for general wiring connections. It Wii take many hours to build. Due to the complexity of each button being lighted and other switches having at least 8 wires each for the encoder switches. The software to program the buttons is really good and can download that from MobiFlight.com. It will take two Arduino Mega 2560 boards to connect all the signal wires. the Megas will use 5v power and all the LED lights will use a separate 12v supply with 150ohm resistors on each branch of the circuits except for one circuit using 330ohm. The lcd monitor order it with its own 12v power supply.

Sorry I’m not sure. I pulled out the regulator and the coil from my engine. But I didn’t check the voltage output off the regulator. I’m thinking it might be dc output but put a volt meter on the leads to the bulb and see. I wouldn’t imagine it being anymore than 6v that bulb at idle is very dim. The led headlamp is going to need dc volts and I got mine hooked up to my 12 volt battery pack ok so far

Adding air filter and exhaust will require a carb adjustment otherwise it will run way too lean. The exhaust I got from Amazon it’s just a generic lawnmower muffler that isn’t too loud

I did a laser cut of some wood and used some 1/2 conduit clamps to bolt the bag and wood plate to the frame. Works pretty good

Your right, when I pulled out the gov I saw no performance gain at all. I think the mod I did on the springs basically disabled the gov anyway. I’m running the 10t on the front and stock 50 on the back. I just love the hill climbing ability of this mini. I also put on the OMB throttle mod which removed all the original spring linkage OEM configuration.

Sounds like your throttle plate is stuck in the wide open position. Either due to binding linkage from the control arm off the throttle bracket or maybe your idle screw is screwed way to far in and not allowing the throttle plate to rest. At idle the stop on the throttle plate should be resting against the throttle adjustment screw that you ca adjust for rpm settings at idle which I think the book recommends 1650rpm. The CVT if you have one should grip when rpm reaches about 2,500 rpm. If no luck with above the check to make sure that the black plastic covering the throttle plate post is not stripped out or cracked.

That tube I believe is part of the emissions to send fuel vapor back to the carb.

It’s basically a vent so the tank doesn’t end up getting vapor lock
