Where was the phone before? Under an arm? Maybe DAVE should ANSWER them in a muffled voice. Yeah, I know, that just wastes time. Blows my mind how it is somehow perfectly acceptable to GIVE one son who is in a ministry $14,000 to blow on trips, supporting 5 kids, and having fun, while the youngest son is allowed to live "underwater in debt" without even a LOAN from the same parents, after coming to them for help.
I honestly don't care if people would consider me self-centered but if my parents would buy me an $80 financial Peace University program while giving my brother $14,000 tax free, I basically wouldn't ever talk to them again! Seriously, I would send them a check, paying them back for the financial peace university in the mail. They wouldn't see me ever again.
I definitely would use the financial peace university to get myself in order, I certainly would tell them thank you but thereafter wouldn't talk to my parents ever again.
How can any parent be so frugal and tough love with one son and spoil another so badly?
Just blows my mind. Apparently to Carol, favoritism is ok as long as the person recieving said favoritism is preaching, shaking my head.....
