    what is the role of hydration in resolving muscle soreness (lactic acid) and how can you determine if you've drunk enough water/fluid?

      @@jbjbjay Staying hydrated helps with the recovery process overall and there are various factors that can determine how much water you need to consume.
      Usually knowing if you are drinking enough water is best determined by the color of urine.
      Of course, light color is going to indicate you are more hydrated also sometimes there are other signs of dehydration such as headaches

    how does muscle failure happen? is it good to exercise to that point?

      @@jbjbjay If you are speaking on exercising while having muscle soreness, it can still be effective but light exercise and lower intensity is the best option.
