I remember before Daggerfall Unity I would dream of this. A day when Daggerfall could be remastered with mods like Morrowind. Now I am finally playing it.
Modders have really outdone themselves with Daggerfall. Im amazed at the work. I prefer the pixel style myself so I don’t have quite so many but I have a couple and I can say a lot of them are very high quality.
Same, i prefer the pixelated art style over DREAM, but regardless, a lot of the quality of life and terrain overhaul stuff is great. I can even have my own personal character portrait now, its amazing.
@@nicolausteslaus compared to newer games, yes, maybe it does have lesser quality. But you can't deny the pixel style has it's charm, even if you don't like it yourself. I think the game is beautiful
I have to over-emphasize this, Mr. Moonshine. This is one heck of a trailer you put together. Because of it I ended up finishing Daggerfall. I probably wouldn't have seen that as worthwhile if it wasn't for this video.

@@j0hncon5tantine Don't think so. Most modders specifically request not to have their mods put into mod packs or redistributed without their permission. Wabbajack is the best bet, since its a program that just downloads and installs mods automatically for you, but nobody's created a daggerfall Wabbajack list yet.

I really love the mixture of nice textures lighting effects with 2D sprites. It's so comforting looking. I've never played Daggerfall and I'm 100% going to now because of this... As soon as I'm done with my ultra modded Skyrim playthrough :P
can you imagine if Daggerfall had never had fan mods, and instead of relreasing Skyrim for the umpteenth time, Bethesda decided to completely do over Daggerfall and released this trailer

can't wait for version 1.0 hits and then slowly work on making the best "remastered" Daggerfall possibly. Most importantly I am looking forward to the coop mod

@@paulaccuardi9071 You can set it up in an emulator, so you can customise the controls to a certain extent. You can look up tutorials and stuff for it and it's free to download (you'll have to buy an emulator most likely). It's not exactly easy to do and it will only work on androids I'm pretty sure. My point being that it can work on mobiles, it would only need an official release and some minor changes and patches.
Reminds me of Octopath Traveler. It's retro and nostalgic but also very modernized without taking away the essence of the original. So charming and stunning.
Daggerfall is such a strange and unique Elder Scrolls experience, simply because it’s basically ground zero for everything we know about the Elder Scrolls. Morrowind refined the lore and the experience, Arena was the raw and messy beginning, but Daggerfall was when the Elder Scrolls truly began to take shape. I hope everyone gets to enjoy this game, even if it’s not their particular favourite.
I was playing Daggerfall, and it felt like I was exploring history. It's where we came from. Sheogorath, Azura, Molag Bal, they're all there. Alik'r. Wayrest. Orsinium. It's all there man. History.
im a massive fan of tos lore, to the point that when i played my first game skyrim, i did every last quest for the lore, put the piecves together and formed theories, now seeing these older games from the ancient eras being remastered makes me wanna deep dive in this world again, ahh, if only it were the 2010's again
Hi, is it possible to compile an archive for it? I understand if you're averse from making modpacks, but I intend to use it for my personal use, and your modpack's really something else!
Nowadays the 'trees of daggerfall' mod is ignored by most, which is sad. Maybe because its abandoned with only the summer trees of high rock covered, but it still works with current version pf DFU and looks pretty. Another issue is it doesn't work well with real grass installed too.
Recently started playing daggerfall unity and i think it might be my favourite elder scrolls game i have only played skyrim and oblivion so far still want to try morrowind but roleplaying daggerfall is way more fun than skyrim and oblivion in my opinion
How did you get distant terrain to work with version 13.4? when I install it my fog is still on. you should be a hero and zip up your mod folder and put it on a google drive for others to download.
Man I got like 70% of all the misc nature of trees and rocks and strange plants done in low poly optimized 3D in Blender, but I'm too stupid to release a mod :(
This is awesome!!! The creator of DREAM said that the Hotkey Bar is incompatible with DREAM. Have you actually noticed any compatibility issues by running both together?
There is a link or page where i can get the game+aplicated mods? I Dont know how to apply the mods. I use a old notebook operanting on windows 98. I instaled Baldur Gate1 clássic, Diablo 2 with mods, Heros of might and Magic, Nox.
