You are my salvation and my destruction. I have modified my home studio 5 times watching your videos, but I think I have almost reached perfection for my ears thanks to your advice. Hugs from Italy
Been watching your show from the start! I have to say what an impressive job you have done on your own studio. I can't believe you pack all that in, in such a tight space yet you can still walk around. I'm set up in a dining room and living room currently but in the next year, I will have my own freestanding building. Your show is an inspiration to me and I gain a lot of insight in every episode. Thank you Andrew! Cheers from Dallas, Texas!
I love that you have everything ready to go. I am starting to intentionally set up my appartment to be focused on music. For years I had everything packed up and I never used it. I tried setting it all up but I am space poor as i live in a small one room studio apartment. So I have started to plan out the room intentionally for music instead of just watching TV or gaming. so glad i found you channel
Having followed you from the build videos of your original home studio I have followed the apparition, manifestation, spawning, materialisation of just about every single piece of equipment in your studio. Impressive use of the available space,- so much in such a seemingly small room. This has to be the mother of all epic studio tours. An inspiration for how far you can go and come with your own studio build and projects. Huge congrats on all your succes. No doubt this is going to be yet another fantastic year for you. Anyway, thanks for having me on. Love to the family. ( Any Brits following your channel will get this).
Proud of you man. Your setup has come a long way, and as someone who has built a home studio before, I know it’s not easy to get the most out of your space with limited budget. You also succeeded in making it look great as well! Kudos.
Great room and tour. Incredible to see how far things have come since the early days! Is the cloth wall a commercial product or something you did DIY? I really like the aesthetic. Do you have any additional bass trapping for the lows?
Thanks dude, the product is made by a company called fabric-wall. It's a commercial product used in commercial studios, theaters, venues etc. No bass trapping in here. The stairwell is the bass trap lol.
What we do in private then shows up in public. Great work, Andrew... All the time spent, and the tears, and sweat. May God keep giving you the desires of your heart.
Thank you for all the great ideas and video journeys. You and the musicians you meet us with are great and inspiring people. Be successful and blessed!!!✌🙏
Andrew, I think you are pass the home studio tour concept this is a pro studio tour you now have the real deal now, So congrats this is an incredible space so for 2024 I would love to hear an album or two of some of your recordings, anyway great job as always and thanks for all the crazy good studio tours!!!
Perfect timing as I'm starting to setup a new studio! I apologize if you mention in the video (I'm watching in between shifts), but how do you handle the noise from your drums? (e.g., sound heard by neighbors, etc.). I am currently moving into a new house and am trying to soundproof the room as much as possible. Have see many videos on soundproofing and have seen many mixed reviews on it all. Thanks in advance!
It's not really an issue, I don't do sessions late so I never play them after like 6 p.m. All of my neighbors know what I do and we're all close. Get to know your neighbors and try to be accommodating.
I like how caught indirect bassface from that juicy Moog Phatty bassline :) Wicked groove. Good choice of synths. Here, I'm rocking a Moog Grandmother (& modular). Plus Sequential Take 5 & Novation Peak. Nice to hear a proper good drum kit, tuned and played very well. I'm just learning drums (& bass) on a little Pearl Midtown, with Zultan Cymbals. Would love a Gretsch Brooklyn, or better yet a Broadkaster in the coming years. Absolutely in love my Vintera II 50s P Bass. Next stop Ampeg Tube Amp (now rocking the nice MOSFET Ampeg Micro-VR). I'm a guitarist and electronic musician, and so trying to push myself to branch out more into drums and bass. Should have started that a decade ago. Oh, and clamp stands. Cool. TIL!
New word for guitar setups: “Bridge love”. 😂 also, that’s very nice to be gifted a Symphony converter. I think it’s awesome you’ve had so much success with the channel and can thus make an awesome studio setup.
Amazing place 🫶! Aren't you worried that the lamps attached to the speaker stand could vibrate and cause noise? Thanks for the video, congrats on all that superb gear and have a blessed day!
Maximum fun. All I needed to hear from someone who's no where near your level. Mad respect for what you do. I see we use the same coffee filters. Word. Stay safe. Keep jammin.
Nice studio! Would you do a video sometime describing how to connect your synths to the pedals via the re-amp box, if you have the time of course. Cheers
Very cool set up, brother. Above and beyond to get the real drum kit in there. I went electric. My oldest Tama kit got converted with mesh heads and clip on piezos. Someday I will have a place to go live.
My dream is to be able to run a sub at my listening station. Currently live in an apartment though, so it's not possible. Potentially buying a new space this year!
Is there any sort of system you have to lay the xlr cables? Because you were mentioning how annoying it is to have cables everywhere I am wondering if you are using any snakes or do they all run bundled alongside the wall or so?
I was wondering about the power coming in the studio ie how you handle all of it. Quite a lot of equipment to have plugged in and turned on for was a domestic residence.
Hi Andrew, I remember you have a video where you use a software that mapped out the connections for each piece of equipment in your studio. Can you tell me the name of that software and which video that showed you working with it? Thank you.
¡Hola! 🙂 ¿Puedes ayudarme eligiendo un par de monitores? Estoy pensando en Adam T7V y Kali IN-8 v2. ¿Cuál de los 2 te parece el mejor? O ¿Tienes otra sugerencia mejor que tengan precios similares?
I am curious, maybe TN is different from the Rocky Mountains, with all your mics out, how do you keep dust from causing capsule issues? or is TN humid enough that dust isn't really an issue like it is in the West.
@@AndrewMasters this got re-recommended... yeah it's an issue at my place. Being in a very dry state, with no humidity, mics have to be lockered at the end of a session. I wish I could leave them up for that instant inspiration type thing.
I always wondered when you store all those drums in your "main recording room" - don't they resonate when you do some other things and always add a "snare" to whatever you do or listen to?
There's a cool drum tech tip to prevent this. I did a short video on how to eliminate it. Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/ndHH0AxL_e4/v-deo.htmlsi=tpUvsgCfmpHYts1Z
Hands down the most epic studio tours!!!! 🤯🤍❤️ I would love to hear a demo recording on the guitar that used to be your Wife’s mom’s guitar! On your other channel itsstudiotime!!!
do a video on studio security... I have a home studio, but how do I make sure I'm not going to get ripped off our robbed by working on my career and inviting people here?
Finally time to bring you in for a formal tour. Grateful to each and everyone who subscribes and follows the journey!
You are my salvation and my destruction. I have modified my home studio 5 times watching your videos, but I think I have almost reached perfection for my ears thanks to your advice. Hugs from Italy
Appreciate it, the process is what it's all about. Perfection is always changing!
It has been fun for me to follow your journey with you. I began watching your channel at your last studio.
That jam you were playing at the beginning was fire, love your videos keep up the good work.
Amazing studio! Awesome to see how far you’ve come since the early videos 🫶 So glad I’ve been able to see your journey over the years
You're the man Mark!
Great Studio and what a journey to where you are now. Watched this 3 times just to take it all in.

I really love this space. Have you noticed any sag in the fabric since you put it up?
Lord please let me build a beautiful studio with multiple equipments like this.
Glad to see the assistant is killing it

Love this! This is my favorite 'epic home studio' for sure ;)
Glad you like it! lol
Killer opening tune...
Very cool you have given me some new ideas. especially those racks.

cool seeing your MI award in this video Andrew! Ive got mine from 2016 in a similar spot in my studio too!
Totally cool room with a great vibe. It's really cool to see how far the studio has progressed and it's fun to watch the journey.
Congratulations on that amazing studio!
Excellent placement of the Zilo racks in the low ceiling area
BEST and most truly EPIC home studio tour EVER :)

This was excellent!
Thanks for sharing all this info! I really like those racks that you can add on to.
That looks great! Congrats
Andrew I am thankful for your work and your room. Another great video!
I appreciate that!
That Dr Aliensmith SUB01 at 31:48 is one magical sub mic.
Beautiful!! You’ll be moving into a new space by this time next year! I predict!
haha! Don’t do this to me
Absol.utely great tour!!
Never noticed it before but I love your 'Andrew Masters' logo above the staircase.. looks amazing sir!
Great Place and very well Thought, Beside The Great Gear Also A Grear Roon For The Creative Process.

Great jam on the intro. Mixed really well too
Fantastic!
Andrew, Your Red acoustic is a Guild Preregrine Custom shop. They only made a limited number right around 99/2000. super cool guitar
Dude thank you! So cool to learn.
Truly epic good sir
This might be my favorite intro of yours

Nope, these are sound anchors - no vibrating happening. I listen to these speakers all day everyday.
keylargo set up-- very nica!
Love your channel bud.
Keep up the great work!
I hope one day to be featured here with my studio.
Working my ass off to get there!

This absolutely a dream studio, how thick is the cloud absorption panel?
It's about 4", depending on how cold it is...
thats what he said @@AndrewMasters
Such a dream setup
What size is that desk?

Andrew killin it on the drums son!!!
Hey Andrew, greetings from Australia, yet “another “ mic to try, AEA KU-5A ribbon on guitars.. WOW!
so many great ideas here!! thanks
Thanks for checking it out
Good for you mate, best regards
Tremendo amigo!!!
nice studio
Andrew, how do you manage/control noise ? Just to keep the things under the radar with the neighbors. Wondering, thanks !

Very cool!
Been waiting for this one brother.
Thanks, Hope you enjoyed it!
You drummers...you've got that spot light on your kit...what a nerd, hehe
Dope 💯💯
I’ve had 2 studios at this point that have been above a garage with the A-frame room and I will be building another possibly later this year.
0:19 When you know the groove is right
Love your setup dude!

hows the wa1b treating you?! im looking to get one for vocals :D
I really love it, will do some gear vids over on the other channel
love to hear that, ill watch if you post!@@AndrewMasters
I was wondering about the power coming in the studio ie how you handle all of it. Quite a lot of equipment to have plugged in and turned on for was a domestic residence.
Please follow up with this guy. He seems neat. Looks and sounds a lot like you.
This nice Gretsch has a piezo pickup in the bridge. You know like a drum shell with a mesh and a ddrum trigger 😄
You referring to the guild?
@@AndrewMasters That‘s right. My bad.
What is the computer cart that you are using to hold the computer and accessories by the drum kit?
this studio looks familar 👀
Oh hey buddy :)

Heck Yeah! Now get back to work!(LOL)
Just got done watching Colt Capperrune video of him visiting Andrew's studio.
HA...I did the same thing! I use a Husky tool chest for a mic locker too.
The best!
What kind of circuit breaker do you have every thing on
Andrew do you mind telling me who manufactures the slanted equipment triple rack to the left of your console?
Oh it's up there, thanks!!
Interesting that you're using the Beyer 201s. We have a few of the at work but they never get used because they aren't 57s!
They're so good. Toms, Guitar amps, Acoustic guitars, percussion.
@@AndrewMasters I used them on percussion last time I think. I thought they sounded smoother than a 57 but needed a little bit more gain.
Andrew, where do you get your lamps? Namely, the ones by the stairwell...

Hands down the most epic studio tours!!!! 🤯🤍❤️ I would love to hear a demo recording on the guitar that used to be your Wife’s mom’s guitar! On your other channel itsstudiotime!!!
Nice studio. Is it a hobbie or a business? Mine is a hobbie. My wife used to hate my hobbie, butshe is coming around!
Absurd, fur sure.
Early O'clock
Your space is JUST big enough isn't it? haha
1. How do you keep dust away !!!!!!
2. How do control your drum volume
Dust isn't that much of a problem, I just keep a clean studio. Can't really control drum volume, it is what it is.
@@AndrewMasters cool !! Awesome studio by the way !!
