What’s interesting about 1176 compressors is that even when the compression is off, it’s doing something good to the tone running through it’s transformers. I have a stereo preamp running one output to my interface and another through my WA76, and the tone is always a bit better sounding to my ears running through the WA76 than the alternate out from the preamp that goes straight to the board.
Great setup! Loved the comp section and the Guitars of course.

yep! I like your setup, you might want to try a manley vari mu on drum buss. nice tube stuff helps bring back life to these digital converters and plugins, Ive come to find out.

I thought you would have at least one delay in you chain, even put on low can thicken your sound. I use one all the time to thicken things up. Even at low levels. To each their own. I still love your channel.

Wait a minute! I've got the smaller VX Kraken, the 50W version. I just saw on your super kraken that it has three modes on the gain switch! What does it do in between gain 1 and 2 where it has the symbol that otherwise denotes phase flippage? Does it give you a mix??????

Do you find it inconvenient that to trial a different cab on the fractal, you have to reloop your track through the amp and load box to hear the difference? Or I suppose you could run the axe Fx as one of your inserts on the track in the DAW.

As a fellow west coaster, I live in Sacramento, there is not a single place to go to hear some of the German amps, don’t get me wrong Mesa is here, but I want to compare the Mesa’s to the Diezels, Engls, Diftwoods and Bogners. And yes I know know Bogner is made here in the states, but Reinhold didn’t start off there, and I think it’s safe to say a guy named Reinhold Bogner is German and therefore he makes German amps

Bro, you gotta close down your aperture on the camera when you are doing these kind of videos. When you are moving around so much, you tend to get a blurry bokeh background on everything except a small focus point and people like to look at everything and every piece of equiptment. Maybe move to a 5.6 aperture?
