Great to see the cabin again. I started following you back then. I was living in a brick home, and I loved the idea of building a cabin in the woods. I am now living in my 75% completed cabin on 16 acres of wooded land. Thank you for the memories and keeping my dream alive also.

Awesome story Scorpro!! Same thing happened to me. After following this channel for a few yrs, I sold everything in the city and built a small off grid log cabin on 40 acres. Best move for me and my family yet. Keep it up and love to y'all!

What a great video. We watched and remembered most of the clips. It was really good to see Frankie. His shananigans always bring a smile. It is so hard when our beloved pets are getting older. I remember all your videos with Frankie and feel like I was watching them yesterday....time flies... my dog died during Covid stay at home era and that was the only benefit of being home🏡 because we got to spend more time with our dog, Bear.
Now we're getting ready for a new life, moving from a Southern part ot the country to a little piece of heaven in the up Northern forests.
Hopefully people aren't changing the ways of life there... we like the simplicity of life there and trying to keep it simple.

We lost our cat about 3 months ago. He was extremely sick, but being home also aloud more time together. Such painful and tragic loss. I wish you well in your next chapter.

Oh, my heart. As someone who had the pleasure of spending years with my Border Collie, Gypsy, I can only say, cherish those last moments with Frankie. My heart shattered in a million pieces when we had to say goodbye to one another. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of how much I loved that dog. God bless you, Jim, Lori, Frankie, and Tildie. Love from Michigan, where the loons and the ridiculous have definitely taken over. :)

We have a camp on Long Pond in Lempster, NH and it has absolutely been taken over by outsiders from Southern New England and beyond. It isn't the same and it sucks 😕
that happened to my rocky mt high 9k feet, in CO...and they wanted an HOA in rural mt property, and that was when I knew it would just turn into yuppieville. The mts aren't SUBURBIA and I am sick of these folks trying to ruin everything folks BUY in the rural mts for.
These outsiders are products of the electric talmudic toilet and the frankfurt school of political correctness and part of a bad plan.
They want to get away from it all but then they bright all their BS along with them :-x
I've got the same crowd here cause i'm not far from you.
If you have to worry about peeing off your front garden you are too close to your neighbors. Someone mentioned this in another post and I agree.
So good to find my favorite UA-camr this morning. Loved the video, years ago I remember being impressed to make beautiful memories. Loved seeing Frankie, the Star of the video. We're not here forever and we need to cherish the days we have. Continue to enjoy life.

AWESOME the New York cabin is back!! I let out a sigh of relief when I heard you say that, I thought you sold it! Seems like every fall I go back and watch all of those old videos with it, and they’re just as good the 8, 9 or whatever time I’m on now haha. Many of your videos have helped me immensely! I purchased three and a half acres of raw land three months ago. I'm off grid so have a small solar system and haul water from the town 10 Mi . For the last 9 and 1/2 years I've been an RV traveler and really needed to put down some roots. I have a gray water system, 400 ft of Double Bubble foil insulation for under my travel trailer and the yet to install and was going to look further into what your corduroy road was that I heard mentioned in a previous video. In the meantime, I'm having to put rocks in that one side of my dirt road in here because that seems to be the wash for the rain in the bottom of my beautiful Canyon. In central Arizona, at 5500 ft but High desert, I don't have massive trees like that. Lots of juniper and Pinon Pine though. Frankie is so smart and I love the Montage at the end! I have a Basenji who missed the memo about barking but that's okay because she's an excellent guard dog- just ask that guy that tried to walk up here the other day! LOL I love the path you've chosen and I am loving the path I have chosen. So much, a few years ago while traveling, I got a beautiful tattoo with a compass, anchor, water, hints of tree bark, and such and says I walk my own path. Loving life now at 59 years of age!
That's awesome Cyndi. For corduroy roads, you don't really need big timber. Use whatever you've got. I've used saplings and that worked too. Just always lay them perpendicular to your direction of travel and not parallel - and cover them with whatever you have (sand, leaves, sawdust) you name it. This method has served me well.

I know it's not the "manly thing" to do but I've got tears running down my face. I hate to hear that about Frankie and that Frankie montage just hit a soft spot. What a damn good dog, and so, so smart. It sure was good to see the old cabin again. Many prayers for Frankie and give him a hug for me. God bless and take care.

Gosh it’s crazy where time goes. I remember sitting in my New Hampshire cabin with my newborn son watching your videos with him and now watching this video with him on his 7th birthday. Frankie is one smart dog as is his master. It will be a sad day when Frankie's days are over; why do good times have to end? For sure, dog is man's best friend next to one's family but sometimes tops them. Your videos are mighty welcomed and without them, some of life's pleasures, for me, wouldn't exist. I just love seeing the clips of Frankie!!! What a puppy (we call them puppies no matter their age). To us dog just sounds kind of cold! We have a Siberian Husky ( we had a DNA test done on her and she is 75percent Husky and 25percent Malamute and Wolf. She is so sweet and smart! I like to say she loves me and my son, but she worships and adores my husband! She will never want for anything we can provide for her! Wherever my husband is you will find her! Great video! Your comments and clips of Frankie brought tears to my eyes. My black lab mix Lincoln has turned 13 and like Frankie has slowed down and is having health issues. I rescued him when he was a year old and he had been so abused and was in very poor health. Slowly over a year we got his health back and worked on personality issues. He’s been the best dog I’ve ever had. We’ve hiked and walked thousands of miles together and done many camping trips. My best friend to the end.
The Frankie montage pulled some tears from me. So glad I filmed him when he was in his prime but it's also hard to watch.
Hi Boss, it‘s such a relief that you're starting your relaxation program now. You needed to take a step back so badly after all the hard work of the last few years and always being busy as a beaver. Same I live in a small rural farming community about 300 people, when some of the older farmers sold out city people came and bought and thought they could push us farmers out, thankfully, we had good lawyers and State Legislators and they passed the right to farm law in New York State. As my Dad instilled in us kids, always be who you are, not what other people think you should be. Always nice to spend time with family especially one who mows 2 1/2 miles of driveway 🤪. Can't wait to see what's next.
