This was all I needed, just a how to video for a standard setup. Had best buy deliver a fridge with one of their awful third party delivery vendors, and once again, they just left it unplugged and in the middle of my kitchen. They freaked out because there's currently a plastic line, even though my purchase came with a new braided cable to replace it. After watching your video, I see that replacing the line is silly easy and can easily be done myself. Thank you
Thankyou for sharing your video, it helps a lot. Well presented video and commenting. Five stars of 5 for your quality presentation, pictures and quality sound 👍🏻
I wanted about five or so videos of yours today. Very good. I actually turned off the water to my fridge and removed the ice tray. That freezer space is valuable.
Thanks so much i have a ice makwar on my fridgebut it never been hooked up. But you have inspired me to take on the chalange...Thank you again
I like those Dahl shutoffs, that is what I have been using lately.
I agree! They are great valves.
Yes. This is very well explained and presented. I feel much more confident to do this dyi.
Great video! So helpful and detailed.
Great video as usual. I have this very job with the same install type in the basement coming up once I get my RO system installed. I'll be using it as a reference!
Thank you! Hope your install goes well. Cheers!
Desolation at 13:05 😂, helpful video
I don’t even need to do this and I watched the whole video

Another awesome video. My problem is my refrigerator is across from the sink on other side of the wall. There’s a refrigerator directly below mine in the first floor apartment.
Thank you!!!!
What’s the little blue part called the water lines ties into on the back at the bottom of the fridge. Mice ate mine
Ice ice baby

My condenser coil looked just like that shortly after moving in. The previous owner had two big dogs and WOW! What a mess.
Ferrule and Insert are not fitting well and after tightening the bolt, pipe is coming out. I tried plastic pipe as well as copper pipe. Please advise.
The 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 tee with shut off valve is just what I'm looking for. Can you provide an Amazon link or another source for the tee shown at 2:16 in the video? Thanks.
Unfortunately I can't find a link on Amazon for this product. They sell the tee without the valve 3/8” x 3/8” x ¼” Tee No Valve

I picked mine up at a local plumbing distributor. If you have access to Home Depot or Lowes they should have them as well: www.homedepot.ca/product/add-a-stop-compression-tee-valve-3-8-inch-x-3-8-inch-x-1-4-inch/1000725821
Good Luck!
@@PROSDIY Thanks, but the tee valve is not available at Home Depot in U.S. without having it shipped from Canada. Total cost, including shipping would be an unreasonable $32 plus tax! I also checked other local stores. So, I will have to go with the Tee No Valve combined with a separate shut off valve.
That's unfortunate. Ya $32 is way too much. Hope you're able to find a solution.
the water feed in the door of the fridge won't stop dripping. i took out the filter and it stopped. is there a designated water line for the ice maker and one for the water in the door? am i gonna be bagging it till i can afford to fix? lol
I have my garage door between my sink and fridge so do I need to run the water line up under the floor and past the door to my fridge or wth do I do lmao 🤣
It would be easier to run it up the wall and through the attic if thats possible ?
Can you do more videos on Starlink and home network setup? 😊
I'm currently working on a follow up Starlink video. It will include how the service has been working, how the weather effects the signal, and common questions answered. It should be out next week. Cheers!
@@PROSDIY Sounds cool, cheers!

the line probably filled with air, so it needs to be exhausted first, then that water should start flowing.
Why not go through the wall and put a water line box? I feel like a hole in the wall is a bit permanent. Any videos on that process?
Now is time for Kanger Water .,.
I’m just here cuz you’re so handsome !! 😍🥰😘
Слишком много возни со шлангами. Лучше по старинке из кастрюли наливать воду в холодильник !
