Your animation shows the wrench turning the nut backwards or loosening it instead of tightening it???

No better than the instructions in the refrigerator manual. Maybe it's for people in the Southern hemisphere.

Does the refrigerator cools the dispenser water?

The LG unit we bought doesnt have any.connecting valve for the water line on the blue junction point at the bottom/floor side . The lines seem to be at the top side of the fridge instead (the small manual that comes with it briefly mentions tbat, but no further info on how to connect). So how do you connect the lines for this model?
PS. there is actually two lines, one blue and one white, and at both bottom and the connection point at the top on this model, ie they seem to be going (each) into two posdible directions, up or down! I am good enough at DIY, but didnt want to risk getting the lines wrong (conviniently LG specifically mentions these waterline connections as not covered by the warranty)
Quite frustrating as the customer services on phone didnt seem to have a clear solution. A video for this kind of connection would much help.

Hi Joss. Did you figure out how to connect the water line? I have the same model as well.

@@andreabreu98 Hi Andre, yes we did sort of- that is, the Unit we bought DOESNT HAVE the piped-water system🤣!. This is despite the manual seeming to say so!! The Customer Services had no clue when we asked, it was indeed a plumber friend who pointed it out that this unit's water system is MANUAL - you fill a small tank inside the fridge (on the side) with water and then place it back into the fridge, and this feeds the ice-box, etc via a connecting pipe. You refill the tank when empty.
I do not know if your unit could be similar, maybe have a look. Cheers!!!

Is there any way to convert it. I only have the non-plumbed versions available where I am also. But would prefer it to be plumbed.

Is that compression nut and other piece supposed to come with the refriderator? Mine did not and nobody at home depot could sell me one. Do you know where I can get one?

@@fatheennashuhaazis2352 I bought one at home depot. The first time I went nobody was willing to help me find one. They told me it was in plumbing. I left and found the nut online and the HD website told me exactly where to find it in the store. It was hardware on the opposite side of the building as plumbing.

@@Joe_whatuknow What exactly should I ask for? The Home Depot worker looked at me very funnylike and said he didn't know what I was talking about.

Does this have a left handed thread? Shows the person tightening the nut by turning anti-clockwise.
