I drove both. The XLE is marginally quieter due to it having 18 inch wheels versus 19 inch ones. Plus the ride is tuned to be slightly firmer. But to tell you the truth it was a toss up. As I said in my previous post the deal breaker was no memory seats in the XSE which I thought was a serious oversight.
Fair point and I agree. If you are going for visuals, go with the XSE. If you are thinking functionality and amenities, go with XLE. If you can do without memory seating and a slightly stiffer ride, go with XSE. If you prefer a slightly smoother ride with memory seating, XLE. Hard choices. Wish they made a vehicle that had it all.
If David says it’s good, then it’s good. Thanks for sharing your insights. I have a 2022 Subaru Touring XT that, overall, is a good car. I have my eye on a Lexus IS 350 F Sport, maybe even a Lexus ES 300h. But I’ll have to consider this new Camry.
Hi David, I am impressed especially with LE. I just wish it had a Hatchback version at LE price. Sedan trunk is just a bad use of space. No one puts anything behind the backseat headrests.
Our 2025 XLE AWD is now at 8k. It's a very quiet, comfortable ride indeed, though the seats are somewhat hard, taking a few minutes to get used to, and lacking side support. Not uncomfortable though. The brakes are the best I've ever experienced; great feel. We are at just over 47 mpg over 20 tank fills, now dropping a little as the cold weather kicks in. The car warms up quickly too in freezing temps. When you need acceleration, it really delivers; very punchy! I don't like the Dynamica fabric trim. It should be leather in an XLE. Overall, an awesome sedan. ❤
I bought one of the last TRD’s in Florida about 6months ago. Once I found out no more v6 engine I was all over it. Oh and still has the traditional transmission and analog gauges.

David, You are much more of a world traveler than I will ever be but the last time I checked, Kentucky is substantially closer to Canada than Japan is. For that reason I am confused why Toyota brings the Corolla LE Hybrid all the way across the Pacific but refuses to bring the fabulous Camry LE up from Kentucky*. With snow falling in Ontario as we speak, surely the Camry LE AWD on comfortable 16" rims is the best one for our four seasons. Only when the Camry is again available as a wagon will I consider the possibility that it is superior to the Crown Signia and I bet AMD will agree with me. 😉😉 * I wonder if our PM just rushed to Florida to arrange free trade in Camry LEs. 🤔
@rightlanehog3151 my question was : why not a rav4 with higher ground clearance for his snowy Canadian winters? The newer tnga camry/all toyota sedans have very low ground clearance and he will damage the bumper on frozen snow mounds left over from plowing. Hence...why not the rav4?

As soon I hear Camry no longer has V6, I stop searching them. I pick 4Runner, instead. So far, I am quite impressed how smooth it goes. My uncle has a green 3rd Gen ( 502k miles ) still rock n roll.
The only thing I don’t like is there is a camera looking at your eyes 👀 at all times. And keep getting annoying
Turn it off. It’s in the settings.
@ it comes right back when you restart the car
But you said to never buy the first two years of a redesign. 😅
But i think its the same platform from 2018,, powertrain is not new.
I was thinking the same thing. Camry being built in Georgetown Ky since 1988 is a good sign though. Maybe it would be "tariff" proof?
@@hctim96 Yes tariff proof other than parts in it that may come from Mexico or Canada they would be higher tariffs and so would increase cost of the car
It’s a heavy refresh it’s not a full redesign
It rattles alot! Building quality has a bad review
This car would be perfect for me, but I need something more compact because I live in NYC. My HRV is 171 inches long compared to this 194 inch car. About 2 feet longer would make finding a parking spot 10x harder.
All that 21st century technology and it' still has a STICK holding the hood open ... WHY ?
Just can't, CVTs kill me 😭
It’s the ecvt which Toyota has mastered and are bullet proof
I have a 2025 Camry XLE. It is a great car, but the owner's manual is for the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 not the 3.0.
There are some online videos saying the car has an auto park feature. It does not.
Hard to beat this. These are getting 450-600 miles per tank on unleaded gas.
