- So Apple Vision Pro is a few days away from landing in the hands with consumers but we haven't seen a real review yet. What can you actually do with the Vision Pro?

I really fail to imagine how this would help me in my developer workflow.
I would say this is mainly apple BS tbh, for people who really need those kind of things this is subpar, in car manufacturing developers use real VR and not AR to do tests in cars in a virtual environment before it goes for production and real life tests, this would not have the power to do this.
I would tell that maybe this can help with design, but again, there is no enough power to do difficult things yet.
The price of this piece is apple price, which is just absurd and no one believes that will ever have better connections for things outside apple environment, which means you will have good connections only with mac, iphones, ipad and etc.
I'm not a Apple hater at all, but this product as it is right now will be a failure, I can only imagine influencers paid by and gifted from Apple using it for propaganda and some companies will adventure in this mess, but mass adoption from software engineering companies will really not happen at all, people has to remember that the big ones which already has those needs also have already other products.

A Quest 3 with better Sony oled mini screens and better processing power. But yes, other companies can do what this thing is doing for less money.. actually I'm commenting this from my Quest 3 via my PC with Virtual desktop.

Don’t think so even iPad is not great for that IMO so it will take some time I assume.
The only way you could do video editing is by still using your iMac or MacBook as the powerhouse, keyboard, and mouse but the Vision Pro would give you huge customizable screens

At this moment it's not as good as smartphones. Yes, it's cool and really impressive but it would be much better if it was cheaper and lighter/thinner. Like, I heard that the headset is tiring for your head so it's not comfortable enough to be a replacement for other gadgets BUT it's a great step forward

For security and safety checks. What would be the reaction when you're home alone using this device, basically it will definitely cover your entire sight so u wouldn't be able to see or hear anything around you. My question is. What if some threats(thieves or something bad is happening in the house) barg in? What would be the reaction for that? thanks 👍
Not really sure. Apple Vision Pro will detect people and give you a pass through view or if it's in AR mode then you can already see everything around you. And the audio isn't in your ear it's outside so you can hear things in your room too

This device is not meant as a gaming headset, and ppl need to understand that. VR/AR has uses outside of just gaming.
Edit: I also want to point out that the Vision Pro is meant for developers currently, which is why it's priced so high.
What for, except some narrow niche of work applications? I can call from the phone, I can watch video on my huge TV and so on. Nothing of that requires a heavy uncomfortable thing on my head and not limited to 2hrs of battery life. The only reason I got Quest - Beat Saber.

Why are people buying the Apple Vision Pro for over $3000 and not buying the oculus quest three for about $600 like I understand oh well apple is better. This is apples first ever AR headset. They are not gonna the best at this matter. Has been around for so long just because something doesn’t use apples. Technology doesn’t mean that it’s not better. also, the people that tested out said that it had terrible hand tracking the quest three has almost perfect hand tracking and yeah, maybe the camera quality might not be the best but I prefer tracking over camera quality. Thank you.

Why everyone who reviewed vision pro is not highlighting the Cons and seems they are very happy to buy this even if it's toooo costly. And when quest 3 got released most of the VR community roasted it as if that's the worst VR device for a 500$ price tag and not worth it.
Is the main reason that everyone loves apple even it releases a product for $20K and worth just $100.
And hates Meta because they hate Zuckerberg even if Meta is trying to build a massive VR community for affordable prices.

There’s underground cheater things and it’s like everything that is important is in the game. Super good book, I’d really recommend it

Dude this thing was over promised and over promoted. I think this will be Apple‘s first big flop. 👎 the concept is cool, but it needs to be fully integrated. Not a gimmick that’s over complicated. And the price WTF.
EDIT: I think this will be revised and a smaller better version will evolve to become the new way we interact with computers but for now, this starting point going to be a joke in 10 years. Still cool tho

So you can do anything, that you can do with your phone or usual computer? Apple failed to solve main problem of VR/AR - we still don't know, what to use it for? Everything the same but in VR is just isn't convenient. It's much easy to use the phone. The only reason of mediocre success of Oculus - games and HD XXX films, nothing of that on Apple headset by the way.
