Hi Robert! I hv a 2016 maxima PLATINUM American spec in the UAE. So how can I update the map inorder to use it in the GCC.

I have a question. We are actually on a road trip right now as we speak. We only had one destination to get to.. but as we are driving around. we decided lets try to use the system and look up for example. walmart. honest to god we cannot figure this out. or say mcdonalds.. could you please give me step by step. we have a nissan murano. 2020/ we are an older couple and we thought we could figure this out. when we bought the vehicle. the salseman showed us nothing. i thank you kindly once a gain.

do you know anything about how I can use google map in my phone on Nissan kicks 2017????
If your kicks is equipped with Apple Car Play or Android Auto, you can use it that way. That would be the only way.

Do you have a video on how to add an additional cell phone into the Tech for a 2020 Rogue?
For reasons I can't figure out, the Nissan U.S.A. training video doesn't follow our screens offered choices.
After selecting "add", our screen flick's to offer 3 choices, but when touching on them, nothing happens
are we going about it the wrong way?

Hi Mike, I'm doing well thanks. How are you? I don't have a video specifically on that, but I will have one posted tomorrow if that works. I'll add as many as I can in the video. 2020 pathfinder still has a sd card and on their website they have nothing about it :/
Unfortunately that is the case. The redesign for 2021 will move away from the Sd card
Can u update the same way if u have a 2016 Murano SV? If not, how do u update, a how do u kno u have the most updated?
The update will only work on 2018 and newer as stated in the video. You can get a new SD card to update your navigation from here:

Does my car need to be running during this time? I can't let it run off the battery because it wants to shut it down. Does NORTH AMERICA Oceans - mean ALL The states?
Your car will need to be on to do the updates. As for North America Oceans, I’m not sure what area that does. Sorry
@@RobertTigheCars I asked you the same question on your video with the UBS port. I will do it via UBS now since I got the same 20 minutes message that one gets to update via Wi-Fi. I spent HOURS on the phone with Nissan to get any information. Glad I found your video. THANKS.

@@RobertTigheCars When I was working thru it myself, I did update North American Oceans thinking it would be all of North America. I went back to do all the states (not knowing if I needed to, since I couldn't understand why your car would need North American oceans LOL>) That was missing from the list. When I checked all the states - that is when it said it would take 20 minutes. If you can verify this GREAT. I'm buying a large UBS tomorrow if I have to the the transfer. AGAIN THANKS SO MUCH for this. NIssan Navigation help is a JOKE!!! They don't even know if it is free or not.

You certainly can. You can purchase a new SD card from Nissan on their website.
I have 2018 Murano platinum and i dont see the maps or nav in my screen in addition in connection only Bluetooth,kindly advise
Samer Abu Al-Saod hi Samer, where do you live? The Murano I did the video on is a Canadian version and features will vary from country to country
Robert Tighe i live in amman jordan , i dont think its matter since i should get all the options for platinum, for example i dont have apple carplay.

Samer Abu Al-Saod unfortunately there is nothing you can do without upgrading to a newer model. As I mentioned, features vary from country to country. I know even the features between the Canadian And US model are different. Check with your local dealer to see what you would need to do to get those features.
Why not the micra k14 update
In Canada, the Micra was discontinued in 2019. The Micra has never had Navigation in Canada
If i wanna chang it to Gulf update how i will do it ?
I’m not sure how to do anywhere outside of North American. You’ll need to contact your local Nissan dealer.

Yeah doesn’t work with my 2018 pathfinder. Nissan trying to get $130 from me for the update. They can screw off with that. Very sad cash grab.
Unfortunately none of the Pathfinders will allow you to do an over the air update. That should be in the 2021 as they are doing a full redesign.
@@RobertTigheCars the problem is this isn’t something you should have to pay almost 150 dollars to update. When I had to do this with my Toyota I took it in they did the update there and I walked out without paying anything. Nissan has gone down and my wife and I after owning a lot of precious nissans won’t be anymore. Will trade my pathfinder in within the next 6 months.
