Thank you for this video. My hubby has just changed the pump on our machine seems to be fine 🤞🏻. Without this video it probably would of cost us a small fortune. Thank you again and please keep doing these videos.
Thanks for the detailed video. We had a problem with a Cylinda FT 352, a machine with a bottom that looks nearly exact like the one on the video. It did not drain after a failed wash of a carpet rug that turned into pieces in the machine. Water stayed in the drum even if the filter was removed. After blowing and sucking with a water-vacuum cleaner we decided to follow the video, with success. It turned out the blockade was in top of the big black hose that goes from the drum down to the drain pump - a big fluff of carpet rug. In the top of this hose there is a round ball that acts as some kind of pre-filter, and the hair from the rug was stuck there. There is no way to reach this filtering unless you loosen the hose from the drum. No need to remove it from the pump as most of the crap that you get after the ball seems to logically wash down to the normal filter. Also worth mentioning is that if you want to remove the bottom front plate like in the video but on a machine like ours, then there are brackets on the outer right and the left that you reach from inside that need to be pushed inwards. These are not shown in the video, I guess the construction is a tiny bit different because the movement there is just to remove the screw and push right, which you cannot do because the brackets.
Watched this 3 times, now ready to buy parts and confident of success. BTW this video is excellently made and not a single point that is difficult to follow. Really brilliant. Well done. I'll come back after the job and let you know how I did. Also must say the pumps on your eBay shop site are very competitively priced. Thank you.
The Sat before, the eve of Christmas eve. No chance of getting someone out to do a repair. Followed the video and managed to fix the problem, but may need a new pump in early 2024! Many thanks!
Thank you I a look into where the pump rotor is after noise and water in the bottom of drum. I found a hairclip removed it and now all is well. Your so kind.
Thnx. Love this Beko WMD261W machine. It stands out in reliability, simple and efficient desisgn. And it can withstand an unbelievable ammount of abuse. I fill it up maximum for over 3 years now, it never let's me down. (just don't put a pillow inside......) But, it works again after seperating and cleaning the pump as you told to do. Thanks!
I was just gonna throw my machine out as it is stopping mid wash full of water, I did try an empty the water from the pump at the bottom but, there was to much water, it soaked my whole kitchen floor, but I will give it shot after watching your video, thank you!
My pump was vibrating, was working only after a small nudge, there is no ball bearing in mine but I have no idea how a big clog was inside the rotor, basically making it be stuck, cleaned everything up and now is working with no problems, thanks for the video helped me a lot
Excellent video. Saved me a few quid to do this myself. (Of course, I forgot to put the filter cover on before testing the machine, but I can't really blame you for that.) There's a pint on it's way to you.
Thanks very much for this! Hopefully added a few more years onto the life of our Beko, now it has a new pump... everything was as described. Once I found pliers with enough grip for the big hose clamp it was a 10 minute job.

i have tried to remove the filter but i have accidentally snapped the handle which you use to twist the filter. I did turn anti clockwise but it seems very hard to turn i have managed to get it open from when the water drains but i cannot seem to pull out the filter.

I installed the replacement pump, first it looked good but then the screen started blinking before the end of the cycle. The water almost all emptied but there was still some left in the filter/pump. The next time I tried it, the spin and temperature were grayed out on the screen and the cycle was stuck on a loop and none of the water emptied. Have I installed it wrong?

Hi, we just had someone replace the black funnel attached to the pump in our machine, but now it's stuck on a cycle and won't stop. Have they put it in wrong? didn't have this problem before they replaced it. Thank you
hi, its Kevin here from Australia. i have a Beko BFL103ADW front load washing machine, I cant get it to start and everytime I press it on and start "E12" appears. I am just wondering how can I fix it. any suggestion will be appreciated. thank you.
i may just be able to help you there, Error Code E12 Definition: Washing machine has detected overfill. This error code can be caused by oversudsing from overloading or by adding too much detergent. The pressure sensor will read that there is too much water in the washer. you could try flushing it on a rinse cycle first to see if this clears the error whilst the machine is empty, or the easiest way of rectifying this fault is to drain all the water out of the machine, find the pressure switch on the machine remove the pipe and blow through it make sure you have the machine disconnected from the electricity Supply, you also may have to remove the sump hose to get at the pressure Bowl to clean this out as well. please feel free to contact me on our facebook for a free one to one chat facebook.com/how.to.repair.appliances
You are a repairer and make your money from replacing parts. This is a common problem with many pumps and can be TOTALLY SOLVED by simply cleaning the inside of the pump as you partially have. You don't always have to replace it with a new pump which can cost 150 quid.
f the water is not emptied on the machine then the machine will not spin please remember to subscribe as that's is was keeps this channel going. Thanks 👍

Hi, we just had someone replace the black funnel attached to the pump in our machine, but now it's stuck on a cycle and won't stop. Have they put it in wrong? didn't have this problem before they replaced it. Thank you
is the machine emptying as only a blockage might cause this problem
how-2-repair.com no, it's not emptying just washing continuously
therefore you have a blockage in hose or something in the pump
hi, its Kevin here from Australia. i have a Beko BFL103ADW front load washing machine, I cant get it to start and everytime I press it on and start "E12" appears. I am just wondering how can I fix it. any suggestion will be appreciated. thank you.
i may just be able to help you there,
Error Code E12 Definition: Washing machine has detected overfill.
This error code can be caused by oversudsing from overloading or by adding too much detergent.
The pressure sensor will read that there is too much water in the washer.
you could try flushing it on a rinse cycle first to see if this clears the error
whilst the machine is empty,
or the easiest way of rectifying this fault is to drain all the water out of the machine, find the pressure switch on the machine remove the pipe and blow through it make sure you have the machine disconnected from the electricity Supply,
you also may have to remove the sump hose to get at the pressure Bowl to clean this out as well.

You are a repairer and make your money from replacing parts. This is a common problem with many pumps and can be TOTALLY SOLVED by simply cleaning the inside of the pump as you partially have. You don't always have to replace it with a new pump which can cost 150 quid.
I just replaced the pump on my Beko and it cost me £29.95
