Thanks a million Paul for a great tutorial. And as English isn't my first language I especially appreciate your plain, sort of BBC like, English so easy to follow. Best regards! You've already created a legacy.
Awesome video. It was very informative. Only an experienced engineer can explain this simple to make common people understand easily. Thank you, Sir. Great effort and very much appreciated .
Hi just wanted to say thanks for your video, the bulk of it wasn't for me and my issue but I couldn't find if ok to remove the concrete block info on line, I watched your video straight in you took it off no drama's, so I did my end, as needed to change spring on side and couldn't lift whole drum lol so thanks

Great work pal! I'm going to see if i can take my drum out and see where it's leaking from! It's dripping out half way up on both sides and dripping on the motor!
Well, that definitely is not a good idea for the water to be getting on the motor so it's great that you're dealing with the problem straight away if I can be any help at all with technical information please use the contact us page at our website website and I'll see what information I can pull with your full model number. Ahh it seems the inner drum is off centre and is rubbing, and has worn through ! It is on its 3rd set of brushes and second child lol ! We’ve had it 12 years, I’m curious to see if I can make it a family heirloom 🤣 I’ll check your site now.
Brilliant video! This helped me replace the door seal on my Beko. But I've also realised that the bearings have gone on my Beko WME7247W - I can't see how to get into the tub so I presume I can't replace the bearings (same as this Beko you've dismantled). Also, I've noticed some rusty deposits getting into the back of the drum after washes (since replacing the old door seal) - this could probably be from the failed bearings? In which case I think it's time to call it a day on this 14 year old machine! Many thanks, Jim

Hi, Amazing video, i am woman, recently moved, cannot afford to replace my machine so I was determined to get jt working, simply couldn't get that filter open.....but half a day I DID it. However i messed up, the draining pipe fell into the machine without the plug, its the 10kg model thus the bottom isnt separate, I dont know how to the front off, or is going through the back the ONLY way? It keeps leaking on the floor
Hey, I have a spot welded beko machine and trying to empty the pump. You mentioned its in other videos but i didnt find them. Could you give a link? Thank you sooo much 🤗
Does the Beko really easy to worn after couple of years? They have input lots of technology into the new machine and cause it so expensive when u want to repair it.
I have a Beko WMB 71443 LE and its currently leaking a lot of water in the back while draining. It could be comming from the waste hose, but the hose in general is completely dry. At the point where it connects to the backplate, there is another small hose comming from it which is open. Is there some plug missing or is this how its supossed to (pressure exchange or something like that)? Because i feel like the water (leaks) there.
Hi Tim, i wrote quick article for you with some exploded diagrams of your machine to show you where some of the hoses are, I've also a couple of videos on there to assist you in finding leaks www.how-to-repair.com/faqs/beko-wmb-71443-le-washing-machine-leaking-water-while-draining/
Thanks for a very informative vid. We have a beko 9 series, and the bearings went ( just outside the guarantee_ 1-nil to Beko for perfect timing re designed-in failure). I replaced them by cutting the welded joint on the drum housing and using high quality bearings bought locally. They have been ok for over a year now, and still perfect. You described this drum as scrap. Do you not reckon it is worth doing a bearing repair ? (The bits cost me less than £20). I would value your comment.
It is worth parking the machine to one side. I'm waiting for the same model number to come up on eBay with electronic fault then you would be able to rob Charlie to make Peter better as the expression goes. You can normally pick them up for less than £25. @steveholding3975 please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us ua-cam.com/users/shortse432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍
Hi, I’ve got a 10KG beko washer and a couple issues… 1) the steel body is rusting a little just below the powder tray… assume water is ‘splashing’ over the tray and leaking onto the body? Is this common/easy to fix or prevent? 2) doesn’t seem to be filling from the hot water intake even when on a hot cycle. Can I test this to confirm?
If the water pressure is high, then this could be causing the problem when you have a lot of soap powder in the drawer you could turn the tap on the wall to reduce the pressure, but what I would do is make sure you clean up the rust and repaint it,
Thanks for watching! It would be really helpful for me to get my video shared and help us fight appliance waste! Please remember to subscribe to our channel, as that really helps us 😇
Thanks Paul, mine is a WM74125W but very similar, I do wonder why they keep making minor changes and then saying the old and very similar models are now out of production. I also wonder why they don't do their own videos, never mind, sent soem beer money.

I have lived this TWICE ! I split my drum last week, replaced the bearings (not cheap £40! FAG ones) put it all back together again, zero issues,no breakages, but upon the turn-on today, the drum will not spin ? The motor ain’t turning. It was fine apart from the bearings being noisy, when I took it apart.Do you have ANY ideas,it’s filling and draining, but the counter doesn’t go down, and it won’t spin,I’m perplexed, but am unsure what actually stops the drum spinning (door latch etc ?)…please help as my wife wants to buy a new one,and I’ve invested too much time and learning into this now…I wanna hear those new bearings smooth as…it was like a B52 landing when I took it apart last week !
@@jimmorgan7869 I used some expansive silicone sealant/glue…with small bolts every so often on the seam…go for the £10 sealants, but tbh,I reckon any of them would do…the bolts are doing the main job of holding it all together…(Drill small holes through the sealing ‘flange’ that you have cut through…tbh…the more bolts the better !)
@@jimmorgan7869 I used a Draper pull saw from Toolstation…a bit like a small Japanese saw, they are only £5…and perfect for doing this…it still ain’t easy but it’s easier to control than a big saw.

Early bekos where average then improved upto mid late 2000 there just as good as bosch. The only problem with later bekos are the programmers don't seem to be as robust
The build construction is pretty good. The technical help is fantastic, but why or why do all manufacturers have to produce sealed drums for the sake of 12 screws I swear they all sit around a table each year trying to create ways to sell their machines faster. There is no need for it. This planet is in a big enough mess as it is.

I had to dismantle the control panal to fix on/off switch which had become lose and is not working, Once I had got to it I could see there is a little plastic return spring leaf spring kind, made of 1mm thick clear plastic with a little cross that when you press on/off on the outside of the machine it connect to the on/off button on the curcuit board.
