I used to be a Professional Dry Cleaner. Dry Cleaning is called "dry" because it uses a chemical solvent (perchloroethylene), instead of water. We used to sort the load, and remove anything from the pockets. Pens were a particular problem, if they got into a load. Despite our best efforts, foreign objects sometimes DID make it into the load. Sometimes, upon opening the machine door, I would find coins and even paper bank notes! Obviously, money couldn't be returned to the owner, as we had no idea to whom it belonged! The perchloethylene was distilled in the machine's steam heated still, and recycled for reuse. Perc was lost from the system by evaporation. I had an alarm to evacuate the building in case of white or blackover, if the still were to boil over. The fumes are dangerous. The still never did boil over on my watch! Incidentally, the Dry Cleaning Machines were HUGE, and had no suspension or shocks. The machines were physically bolted to the floor, although this didn't stop a Permac from trying to jump off the floor, and blowing a fuse, when it tried to spin a load with perc still inside the cage! Terrible days! Glad they're over! Have YOU ever had your arm in a button trap with perchloroethylene up to the elbow?
Thank you so much for your helpful video! I got a diagnostic code E18 which I looked up and it has to do with unbalanced load. It didn’t like that I was trying to wash 1 small rug (that my dog peed on) and it came out soaking wet. But nice to know the machine is ok otherwise. Excellent video! Very good approach and clearly explaining how to solve the problem. I have a Bosch Maxx 7 Varioperfect washing machine, which is not spinning and draining. I have checked the pump, the filter, and all related pipes and drainage and they are all OK. What else do you think might be the problem? Thanks in advance for your prompt attention to my question.
You need to use a multimeter to check the voltage going to the pump when it's on a spin cycle if you have 240 present then you may have a problem with the pump itself
There is no voltage across pump terminals during spin cycle. Do you think I have problem with the pcb board? I have connected the pump directly to 240V ac supply and is working perfectly.

So I’ve poke the hose back in when I was trying to undo the filter dile and the whole hose as recoiled back into the machine 🙃 is there any getting it back?!
After taking it all apart and then reassembling, i cant get the drum sump pipe to seal and it leaks whenever water is in the drum. Does the screw band have to be in any particular position to tighten evenly?
Hi, I need a little help. i washed a down feather jacket and a lot of tiny feathers got out. Am I correct to say they if there are still feathers in the washing mashine, they could not have gone past the pump (and should be somewhere between the drum and the filter)? Thank you.
You will need to clean the pump. Also the waist hose and really have a look at this video. You will need to take this hose off as I guarantee there will be a lot of feathers in there. ua-cam.com/video/tieTOtUm_kI/v-deo.htmlsi=lOzDrQnOaNmWzy4d Wrinkly hands fix appliances, not algorithms! I have a Beko WM 74145 W Washing Machine that wasn’t draining . Making a very bad noise from pump . Drained it down removed Filter cover and lots of coins !! But also the IMPELLER had come loose ! . I have managed to to push the Impeller back onto the pump shaft. Seems to be working ok . Question is … Is the Impeller just a push fit onto the pump Shaft or is it likely to come off again ? Don’t want to have to replace the pump if not necessary . Thanks .
Hi, Please if you can help, I'm having a pb with beko washing machine doesn't fill water and doesn't spin, when I check error message is e17 but I cleared all the common problems related to this error tap valve and bottom outlet, still a same problem.
Hi mate, the E17 error code on a Beko washing machine typically indicates that an excessive amount of foam has been detected. If you've had an overfoaming incident, it's normal to see this error code. Sometimes, error codes can still show up in the diagnostic system even after you’ve fixed the issue. This happens because the system keeps the last known error code. When you run a full diagnostic check, you can usually clear these codes. Unplugging the machine for 24 hours might help too, as it can reset the memory chip.
Please use our contact us page and make sure you fill out the request for what your problem is. I will need the full model number of the identification plate and the details of your problem so that I can provide you with useful literature. A video shoot of the problem would be perfect as well. Today being 31/May/ 2024, I found an inner sole padding of a tennis shoe and a hair pin. Last two weeks, I caught a lodger washing his tennis shoe with full load of his clothes and the 6kg BEKO machine was slow /groaning in turning which is why I looked at the load and detected the canvas shoe. I stopped the machine and removed the shoes. Today, I found my clothes dripping wet and moderate water not drained and opened the filter (without messing about with the electronic diagnostics) to find the above blockage. Removed them and put a new wash load and the problem was gone.
Our washing machine is making my clothes really wet. The spin and drain just keeps going, till I turn the washing machine off. The cycle just keeps going and going. The code I’m getting is, the 800 light is lit up, the light with the arrow, directly above the spin on the left hand side is lit up. Also the time delay light, above start and pause is lit up. I think we have the same machine as the video. It also wouldn’t release my clothes earlier after the cycle had finished. Even the spin and drain to drain the water, and release the door didn’t work. I had to unplug the machine and use the old bank card trick, to get my clothes out. What do you think it might be so I can tell my technician? Thanks In advance. PS I kind of wish you were my technician, you seem very knowledgeable.
Recently as 4 weeks ago i bought from Argos a new BEKO B3W5961lW free standing 9kg 1600 rpm washer, now i have only used the machine 3 times, after the 3rd wash it developed a fuse fault it kept blowing the 13 amp fuses, why is this happening i have not got a clue, i checked the socket by plugging my iphone in to charge - it charged , i plugged the washer in with a new 13 amp fuse ,it worked so i turned the machine off as it was now 23.00 hrs the next day i went to put a wash on ,hey presto no lights again on the LCD screen , i removed the fuse , i replaced it with a new one, so i went to use the machine loadeded the washing 10 minutes into the wash cycle , the LCD went off thus no washing machine it had crashed , i can't carry on pulling it out from under the kitchen work top ,and replacing the machine with new fuses, any idea's as the machine is still under warranty please help if you can , as you seem to understand these Beko's on how the operate because i don't have a clue, regards Jim
Ok my friend.. I've drained the water ( looks like a Tsunami hit the kitchen!) Took out the main seal, no apparent blockages.. now the drain hose has been inadvertently pushed beyond my reach and went back right inside the blooming gubbins, ( who knew!?).. can I take a chance at a spin with no clothes in?.. PLEASE HELP.. struggling with sopping clothes wet house and decidedly knackered!.. Thank you kindly..

They're good work horses and at least this manufacturer does provide the technical information for people to be able to repair it in the future but on the downside it's another sealed drum machine which you know I hate. We have to stop built-in obsolescence. Please remember to subscribe to the channel is that really helps us. Hope you had a good New Year
I have done all these , I mean draining my pipe and cleaning the filter yet it’s still retaining water . Secondly, the bone slipped into the machine , does it mean I’ve ruined my 5 month old washer ? Please help
Have you cleaned the sump hose going from the drum to the pump, and I'm not sure what you mean when you say the bone slipped into the machine. @chinyeremichael-esse2867 please remember to subscribe to our channel as that really helps us ua-cam.com/users/shortse432SAb2g08 Thanks, Paul 👍
@@How-to-repair haven’t cleaned the sump pipe. I mean the little pipe where u first drained water from , mine slipped into the machine before I could put it back in the bone
Then the first thing I suggest is, you will have to take the machine apart and clean the hose ua-cam.com/video/tieTOtUm_kI/v-deo.html to do this, I have lots of videos depending on the model you have www.youtube.com/@How-to-repair/search?query=beko
I absolutely hate the drain going into the sink drain, I’ve always had stand pipes behind the washing machine and the dishwasher, I tell other people to have stand pipes as well, those sink drains are terrible and kill washing machine and dishwasher pumps , they are so restrictive to the water flow coming in through them, if the sink is blocking up or not, doesn’t help that so many people use quick wash at 30 degrees helping to block things up, maybe if they did normal washes at 40/60/90 degrees then they wouldn’t block so much
Those coin collectors are the worst design ever. The manufacturers damn well know that if any thing like a coin gets trapped that they cannot be unscrewed by a lay person. They will break if you try pliers for better purchase. And they know that most people cannot go underneath to unclip the gaitor and gain access that way. So for a simple problem you end up paying an engineer a days worth of your wages for an hour of theirs. As long as we are prepared to pay the poor suffer.
I totally agree, but I actually did put this in on the next video that will be going live on Monday, but you can have a sneak preview ua-cam.com/video/KTDJEBKx1BI/v-deo.html it is not a difficult job to separate the pump housing from the pump motor. You just need to know what you doing and this is the problem general public is not informed how to go about it. Happy New Year please remember to subscribe to the channel as that really helps us
Allow ME to suggest [I have a wise source of intel], grinz, you MAY actually be able to get at and into it, if it seems 'jammed', undamaged from underneath ? It would require a little more work, but some of those come off from the back of them. Obviously, [safety first,] disconnect the power first [I did pay attention] and prop it up securely before working on it from underneath. [Am I in the queue for apprentice jobs yet ?]
Or you could learn to fix your own appliances when you get back from work, where theres a will theres a way. Ignorance is not an excuse. These vids are testament to the fact that you dont need a degree to fix a washer. And for those that arent physically able to lift the washer out, need to pay an engineer/handyman to help them. Self employed need to cover their whole operation, everything from tax to healthcare from your days worth of wages, so thats not worth mentioning. The design is pretty simple, what do you suggest they change?
My problem is the dile no longer turns off when turned to the off position. So all tutorials on how to reset it don't work because I can't do literally the first step😢

My Beko wmb71242m washing machine doesn't have that drainage tube, and the clothes remained blocked with water inside. I can't open the door, or the filter tap because of that water. How to eliminate the water?
You're in a little bit of a dilemma with this one you will need to make sure that you disconnect the machine from the electricity supply tilt machine back at a 45° angle and remove one of the pipes with a bucket underneath. There is going to be a lot of mess, but there is no way of avoiding it. glad we could help you @dorneanudoru this is for you ua-cam.com/users/shortse432SAb2g08 please remember to subscribe as that's what keeps this channel going. Hello, I have a 12 kg LG washing machine. It wants to be dried. It hangs on the left side. Centum model
I have an electrolux eww1476wd and after doing laundry, it does not want to turn on the dryer heater. the fan that exchanges the air in the drum from the machine turns on, but the heater does not want to. NTC sensors show resistance. the electronics have no mechanical damage and the relays are all OK. Maybe it needs to be reset, but I can't find anywhere how to do it??
Can you open it underneath bcs it has a lot plastic things no screws

@How-to-repair Thanks, but how do you run the diagnostic on this machine or to reset it.model wm84145w.

What if my Beko is leaking while just filling with water at the begining? One day before was a overfilled with clothes? What do you think?

I have this machine i got it few months ago

Hi

Pipe stuck inside machine!!! 😢can’t get it out!!!
Do you know if the code on a dryer matters for instance i need a new water drainer but my code is 2962510800 but all I can find is 2962510600, they are both 13w 220-240v and 50hz so everything is the same apart from the code number would this still work for my dryer please and thank you
Manufacturer sometimes make finding the correct part awkward because they use different part numbers for different models of machine but some part numbers can cross reference but without having your full model number it is very hard for me to be able to assist you properly.
