    I'm certain that I butchered watch terminology in this video, and for this I apologize.

    A few more specs on this tank disquised as a watch. They are made in La Chaux De Fonds Switzerland. It has a Sellita SW220 automatic movt. beating at 4HZ or 28,000 bph. It has a power reserve of 48 hours. It has hacking and hand winding with a depth rating of 30 ATM or 300 m/1000ft.

    I own a Marathon Divers automatic watch, 41mm, purchased new Nov. 2012. It's an amazing timepiece, and most impressive is that timekeeping accuracy is within 1 minute over the last year! When not wearing I keep it in a rotating winder box, which is highly recommended for properly maintaining the internal mechanism operation.

      Do they make them for multiple watches?

      @@JohnnyJuke The winder I own is for a single watch, but yes they do make them for multiple watches.

      What do you mean “for properly maintaining the internal mechanism operation”?

    • @MrWinger1951
      @MrWinger1951 2 роки тому +4

      @@Ferien7 Its not commonly known, but you can find information from a reputable jewelers web site such as this quote: "Standstill of an automatic watch is not only inconvenient, it can also have unpleasant consequences for the watch. Especially when the watch has been standing still for too long. Most people lay their automatic watch on one side, so that the oil in the movement that keeps the parts working smoothly flows to one side. Of course you want the oil to keep the entire timepiece running smoothly. In short, standing still is not recommended with watches, just like with cars. It is better to keep an automatic watch moving so that the settings remain correct, the oil is nicely distributed over the timepiece and you can always wear the automatic watch immediately when you want it."

      There’s debate on winders, don’t think it’s fair to say it’s “highly recommended”.
      Just from what I’ve seen and read, I’m not an expert.

    It’s a great watch. I have the tsar. I got it in 06. It’s working great, lume on bezel fell out and all tubes need to be replaced. It’s very pricey, to get it serviced! Only issue I see.

    Welcome to the club. Ive been enjoying mine for 4 years. Tritium emits low radiation hence the radiation symbol. This a manly watch...keep it and enjoy

    That’s a sharp looking piece! No pun intended. I edc a Dakota clip on (rides on my beltloop), and love not having something metal banging around on my wrist. Cool watch Johnny!

    I own a Breitling and a Tudor black bay and my daily driver is still my little 36mm quartz TSAR. No frills, super basic but works perfectly for what I need it to do (pick it up and go). And it's built tough so I can knock it around without worrying about anything. All in all it's an awesome timepiece

    There's no way that watch was made in Canada. Wasn't even made in Switzerland.

    Beautiful timepiece brother. My goto is an all metal re-issue of the original Casio GShock rectangular face. For dress-up it’s a Grand Seiko diver. The Marathon is lovely. Might have to pick one up

      I have always wanted the metal square. Mine are all resin versions. Now that Grand Seiko is amazing! You certainly have great taste in watches. Have a great weekend Matt!🌞

    You exposed me to this brand. My Marathon Jumbo Day Date stands strong as hands down my proudest watch. I have some beefy G-Shocks but there’s nothing like the JDD.

    Not sure if you meant to have an “asmr” aspect to your videos, but you do in your voice and the way you record your sound. I love it! Keep it man! Love the content
