I'm on the road everyday, not only is it disregard for traffic laws it's complete disdain and objection of any rules of the road, traffic laws, and dare I say any ethics and respect on the road, and maybe it's bec there's so many motorbikes on the road, in my opinion motorbike drivers are the worst of the road, they think no laws apply to them, counterflowing so much that the opposing traffic doesn't even have space to drive, they are the scallywags of the road.

i dont believe half the fines get paid... many rather not pay and drive illegally until caught again. These operations need to continue and catch repeat offenders until there is a resolution for repeat offenders. We need to get them off the roads. so these drivers who drive with no license, only to show a ticket from a while ago, basically confirms that once their license is taken away for violation, they don't intend to pay the violation. Many dont intend to pay and are content to continue driving without a license. That seems to be kinda of the thinking behind many. Need to impound and make it expensive to retrieve for those with outstanding fines. Even if the vehicle isn't theirs, the owner must be responsible for leasing or hiring the driver for public transportation.

MMDA needs to get to the bottom of why the city allows vendors to take up a whole lane and also park on crosswalks. The government needs to get involved if this is the case and basically explain the law to the city.

sadly, go outside Manila and you will see that its normal to drive unlicensed or without helmets or shoes. The laws in Manila should also be the laws outside Manila and be enforced. Need the whole country to be on the same page.
