- The MMDA acted on complaints about illegally parked vehicles that are obstructing the road and adding to traffic.
One rider earned an additional violation of 'arrogant driver' on his ticket. - Розваги
The alleged owner of the motorcycle parked in front of the fire hydrant, left a comment on my Facebook page:
"Akin yang beat nayan, ginagawa kalsada namen kaya jan nakapark bobo kaba anong what on earth are they thinking"
He then went on to say the MMDA have no consideration 🤦♂
I guess he either doesn't know how quickly a fire can spread, or perhaps he doesn't care.
Because even 30 seconds wasted in moving his motorcycle, could make a HUGE difference to how many houses are burned down.
I hope he could have consideration for everyone that could be affected by parking in front of a fire hydrant.
I bet he doesn't even know how fire hydrant works, hence the statement 😂😂😂

I'm retired US military and every now and then I need to go to Manila for VA appointments or for the Embasy and I have a vehicle BUT traffic and roads in that city are so bad that I just chose to take a bus to the city and then use public transportation while I am there.

I do hope this clearing operation would continued through and not just because there's a FIBA event. I suggest circulate within Metro Manila a Traffic regulation book with traffic symbols so that people who doesn't know road regulation may learn more. Good Job MMDA

MMDA need to have 10 enforcer teams to go around Metro Manila or maybe more. Besides the monies on penalties will cover the salaries of these enforcers. What do you think Colonel Nebrija? This action will teach the Filipinos discipline on the road and learn where to park, and obey traffic rules.
It will clear traffic in NCR once and for all. Save gas for the motorist due to traffic. And improve the economy of the Philippines.

Shame. If you cannot afford to park inside the mall or wherever there are fees, then you don't need a car or motorcycle. How much more expensive is a ticket! The thinking of some people just boggles my mind.
I know right? I hate how easy anyone can get a vehicle these days. If you can’t afford a vehicle at full price, a house with a parking space that does not obstruct the road, can’t understand simple traffic rules or have a very mediocre job that just the basis of your limited intellect, then maybe you should not own one. That way it can also solve the traffic crisis by reducing the amount of cars on the streets by a lot. Just Use public transportation people.

I always curious how they tow the cars that are in "Parked" gear and with hand brake, because in other countries they will put assist wheels underneath the car wheels, otherwise from what I have seen in many of your videos, they either damage the gear box or the hand brake

If I'm not mistaken, there are some who gets attached to a tow bar, lifting either front or back.
Some gets entirely pulled onto a flat bed, getting dragged onto it. But its not too significant compared to getting dragged entirely with parked gear and brake both engaged.

Bibili bili ng mga sasakyan/motor pero wala namang sariling parking space. Hindi kataka-taka kung bakit sobrang traffic at sikip ng mga kalsada ngayon. Sobrang dali makakuha ng sasakyan sa Pilipinas!

In UK if you see 2 yellow lines on the road just beside the pavement it means no parking. Just a suggestion for the Philippine Government and there is a round the clock for enforcer going around to give tickets. Car is mandatory to put under their names when they buy it for personal use so they can receive the mail by post for further actions.

It's always the usual "Ikaw na mali, ikaw pa matapang 🤦 Really ticket violations should include disrespecting traffic enforcers and be given 3 days jail time or 3 days seminar on proper conduct on driving and etiquette. And 100 hours of community service. The enforcers are doing their job and making sure that traffic runs smoothly. Shouting, cursing and taunting at the enforcers isn't going to make the traffic go faster. Nor will shouting get you out of a ticket, hindi na uso ang makuha ka sa sindak these days.
I've said it time and again. The MMDA enforcers should be armed with billy clubs and pistols. So they can enforce the rules properly and make violators respect them.

MMDA should hire more officers and clear the roads daily. Imagine the income this would generate.
That was their plan, but with their budget being reduced from what they requested, I don't know whether they'll still be able to do it.
And remember when I talked about some enforcers having their hours cut back, due to lack of budget?
The crazy thing is, an enforcer only has to issue a single ticket to cover his whole salary for the day. Anything beyond that is extra income for the national treasury.
But that's the thing that a lot of people don't realize. The penalty payments go to the national treasury. It's not like the MMDA can just use that money.

That guy shouting should be have a seminar, gave him multiple violations one being arrogant to the officer. Most of the riders now doesn’t go to the seminar or doesn’t know the laws of the road and violations when they ride a motor vehicle. Hayyyyyyy 😢
From what I understand, they added arrogant driver to his ticket. I'm not sure if he was recommended for seminar, but I'd assume he probably was.
We need clearing operations on provinces too, LGU here sucks and would not mind if a 4 lane highway became either 2 lane parking or extension of someones home

@naimas8120 MMDA stands for Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Thus, it cannot expand its Authority over other provinces. You can ask your LGU take care of it
