Helmetless and Armed: Motorcycle Ride Ends in impounding

- In this video you'll see many expensive cars that are relying on the public sidewalk for their parking. If house bill 31 passes into law, people would be required to have a proper parking space before they can buy or register a vehicle.
At the very least, House Bill 31 would set the correct mindset and expectation, that a parking space is a crucial requirement for owning and operating a vehicle.
Unfortunately, many drivers still have the mindset that pedestrians and other road users should find a way around the obstruction their vehicle is causing, rather than proactively ensuring they don't obstruct the sidewalk or road.
The armed motorcycle rider showed his Police ID.
Did the MMDA question why the guy was carrying a gun? Was he police?
He showed his Police ID
Wow a cop no license. Great example of a law abiding citizen
@@edwinaguilar1227
Law enforcer, law breaker eh?
undisplined mindset among masses is the problem. years of your coverage have taught so many yet so many never learn anything. more power to your videos ga
@@GadgetAddict The law applies to all or none at all. Very disappointing to know the armed rider gave a police ID.
No plates, no helmet, no license, no shoes. BUT WITH A FCKING GUN!
The best license there is!
MMDA should have called police assistance when they saw the gun. It should be a red flag for someone who's riding a motorcycle without a helmet, wearing slippers and doesn't have a license.
Pag no lisense impound agad wsla ng katok katok wiran pag nakapark sa,bankita okalsada pag walang driver tumana,na ka agad di nyi na kailangan magpaliwanag pa kyo an,nagpapatupad ng batas at,kyo an daoat masunod good job mmda mabuhay po kyo ingat lan po Sa work nyo mabslos po
Don't forget, no registration/plate
Doesn't have a plate as well, smells stinky.
There's nothing wrong on having a gun. It's maybe a red flag but you can't assume something wrong about a civilian having a gun just because it's suspicious, being suspicious is not a crime.
@@marck0s565 yeah being armed while riding a motorcycle with no plate,no registration and no driver's license doesn't look suspicious, shady and a threat to public safety. /S
At 11:55 there's plant pots taking up part of the sidewalk. I wonder if the owners/residents have been told they have to be cleared.
Good job wish there were crews like this in the provance
A cop, no licence, carrying his side arm, slippers, wondering if that ID was real oh dear no wonder magic happens.
My head hurts scratching.
Truly appreciate your videos of our authorities especially the MMDA's hard work to clear the roads. Your continuous blogging is educating abusive people of what is legal and illegal.
Thanks for the longer video.
Again, another productive, informative and entertaining video. Kudos Mr GA and to those involved. I am not sure what is the thinking or logic behind driving without a licence, trucks with worn out tires, etc.. Its crazy.
It’s like playing russian roulette. Either they’re thinking, if one tire pops, there’s more tires to support the truck. 😂
With the stickers, I’m with who ever so back off!!
More power to Gadget Addict. I enjoy your videos very much sir!
I like that.. "JAN LANG AKO GANG!"
Hahaha!
love the MMDA uniform, reminds me of VOLTES V 😅✌️
I laughed so loud hearing you saying jan lang ako jan
MMDA should become a nationwide agency. LGU’s in the provinces are helpless in clearing road networks.
Salamat Po Sa Pag Upload !!!
The level pf ignorance with some of these car and vehicle owners is astounding.
As a former police officer in the US, I find the enforcement of traffic laws very relaxed in the Philippines. Maybe they are enforced in Manila or Subic or Clark, but not here in the province area. Four riders on a motorcycle, no helmet, slippers for all is not an uncommon situation. Double and sometimes triple parking on the road. Constant counter flowing and no signal for stopping or turning. No lights at night too.
thats sign that administration in that provence is corrupt.
Wow, a 15-minute video! More long videos, GA :)
Keep it Up Sir! I appreciate you po :)
It should be impound able if there is no plate number or mv file plate. Who knows if is used in crime related
If they impounded every motorcycle that doesn't have a plate, this team alone would literally be rounding up hundreds every day.
To some degree, it's the fault of LTO for being so useless at giving plates for several years.
But at the same time, everyone knows that a temporary plate is required, until you get the LTO plate.
Aside from that, many of these riders actually have their LTO plate and it's often seen inside the compartment. But for whatever reason, they don't want to install it.
You should contact a big network and let them licence your videos so they are delivered to a bigger audience.
Heck these videos are so entertaining you’d probably get high ratings.
A lot of local TV channels use my content. Sometimes with permission, sometimes without.
I prefer that they contact me first and put an onscreen credit. But unfortunately some networks take my content and then work it into their program as if it was their own original footage. That's a little frustrating.
One network took my footage of the new black hawk helicopters and purposefully cropped my watermark out of the video 🤦♂️
@@GadgetAddictwhat network brother? so we can notify their audience for awareness
This kind of operation must be implimented Nationwide not only in Manila..
Lots of Cities don't implement this kind of operation.
good job, keep clearing the roads and hopefully they pass the HB 31 into law. sideWALK is meant for walking not Parking 😅
appreciate the longer video
Why would they grant anyone the ability to carry a weapon where only wearing slippers denotes that he is unprofessional. They should have called the police to make sure he was authorized to carry a gun. If he was pretending to be a police or military personnel then that's considered a heinous crime where he should have been apprehended.
I've seen a LOT OF POLICE doesn't have a plate number on their motorcycles. Possibly no license as well
I had to say the wife, how many accidents will it take for the 6 yr old to get her head smashed ? Bought her a helmet for 2k, and insisted she don't get on the motorcycle without it. Even though school is only 3 blocks away. It's definately a mindset they need to address !!!
I like that saying “dyan lang ako” 😂😂😂 TC bud!!!
Funny how people think that when its a short trip, the laws of physics and the risk of an accident doesn't apply to them anymore 😂😂
They regularly make comments like "I'm just going to the corner and you're making me wear a helmet"
If it's so close, why don't you just walk? 🤷
@@GadgetAddicttrust me it's like the saying "I came to visit you, to let you know I can't come today I'm busy"
the gun should also be question why not so
@ 0:30 - "AWOL" stands for Absence Without Leave... So I wonder why that pressumed policeman carries a gun that way anyway??
No one said he's AWOL po. Just that they've encountered people before, that identified themselves as police officers, active, but then later were discovered to be AWOL.
@@GadgetAddict Yes.... Correct Sir.. And I believed that no one there did that... ☺️👍
I just emphasized the "AWOL" ☺️ for further info...
Oh no, the tires are bold 😳 very dangerous driving with a bold tires 😳
Bald.
@caelestigladii Sorry it was misspelled, but thank you for correcting me, have a blessed day from USA 🇺🇸
Why no standard practice for checking a gun permit?
3:16 Awwww..ang sweet naman🤗 Couple Helmet pa sila🤗..Awwwwww
I see many if them man in uniform with out plates? Are they exempted or feeling entitled?
There's not an exemption.
I remember a certain unit of law enforcement tried to get an exemption before, for a form of Intel work. They were told it cannot be allowed.
Pla ask MMDA to go back at Caloocan 4th & 3rd St. 8th and 7th Ave. the road are block again by junk shop truck and L300 for installation. Road become 1/2 lane only.
what happen to the guy with a gun? just gone? free to roam?..
He showed his Police ID
he is wild & free now police id is sakalam 😁
@@GadgetAddict OK thank you for the info GA.
Is it legal to wear shorts and shoes while riding? Cause I heard that pants is also a requirement.
There's no national law that prohibits riding in shorts. It's just not recommended for your own safety.
Violator:Forget about no plate helmet, shoes & license. As long as i have a gun🤣🤣
about the gun?
why not checking the gun permit to carry/licenses?
hindi matotoo ang isang pinoy kung hindi parusahan .. always no mercy use mind over emotion. Good job MMDA
Good Job!!!
It doesn't matter how many laws they pass. It is evident, because your videos show day after day, that Filipinos think following driving laws is optional. If the driving law is not convenient for them, they ignore it. Period. It's the same thing, day after day, in these videos. No helmet, no shoes, no license. Cars parked on the sidewalk. These are not complex scenarios. It is not difficult to tell right from wrong in these instances. These people know they are breaking laws, they just don't care. Period. Truth hurts, especially when it embarrasses you.
Will passenger needs to wear shoes or it is okay for the passenger to wear slippers
hello, can I use crocs without socks while driving?
Good Job MMDA.... God bless
Binondo Sidestreets Obstructions no clearing because of Corruptions
I was surprised that a lot of vendors were cleared by the LGU, on the basis of being an obstruction.
But the areas were then converted to paid parking, essentially a bigger obstruction 🤷♂️
Carry on what you are doing police officers! It’s about time to crack down on these bad drivers! They are irresponsible in all levels endangering the public!
More than the driver's license, I was more interested to know if the man has a permit to carry and if the gun has a license.
He showed his Police ID. Although there are still requirements for the way the gun should be carried or concealed.
Love your videos so very informative, you mention the DILAG gang many times is this an illegal organisation?? Secondly, I live in a condo, the cost of a single carpark is 6500php per month or a tandem carpark 3000php a month, personally these prices are way to steep!!!!
DILAG is just a joke, referring to the common excuse of "diyan lang ako" or "i'm just going there" - given by many violators.
Hence it became the DIYAN LANG AKO GANG or DILAG.
The parking fee inside a condo can be a bit pricey, but that's really part and parcel of owning a vehicle. That's one of the things that people need to consider first. Not everyone can afford the luxury of having their own vehicle.
It's usually cheaper for MC.
Hahaha thanks for the clarification, with respect to purchasing a car I thoroughly agree not only the cost of the car but also the parking fee need to be considered!!!!
I am also wondering about what you said. They say that they love them but they risk their lives makes you wonder🤔
Too many people are just overconfident that an accident will never happen. That's the sad mindset that we need to fix.
This might be somewhat extreme, but if people are found transporting minors with no helmets, perhaps a "child's social services" person be contacted and the child removed from the guardianship until the problem is rectified. I can't imagine the adult continues to drive away and leave the child who is unsafe, nor it doesn't make sense to be stopped for the offense and then be allowed to drive away in the same condition. That would mean the ticketing officer permitted it afterward. Perhaps the bike should be impounded and the individuals are made to find an alternative most of transport until rectified.
In japan and states:
Driving with out OR CR, Lisence, helmet,
20 days detained and mostly got a probationary release from court.
1 year privation.
That's the standard level of law and why they are Deciplined.
In Philippines:
Ticket , impound only. And it's unlimited.
Even after a day and you did the same thing? Still it's only a ticket. Just pay a money. No money? Mangungutang nalang.
That's why Filipino don't scared of violating the law. Because it's on there mind already, we will not be in jail.
Lol. In “states”, driving on a suspended or revoked or without a valid license is an infraction which only normally carries a fine. Sometimes that fine is even waved if you show a licence at the police station later. It can also be waved if you get/renew your licence before your “trial”.
If it is your second time being caught, however…

no drivers license so that gun's ownership is dubious af and he now be commuting with a gun holstered while obviously in a bad mood for having his motorcycle impounded.
It's about time that the barangay officials should be held accountable to clean up and maintain the cleanliness of their barangays after the MMDA clearing. All the clearings that have been done is useless if the barangay will let these people people park on the sidewalks and streets again
Hopefully the DILG could one day hold Barangay Captains responsible for failing to maintain the efforts of the MMDA clearing operations.
In some cases, it's the Barangay themselves that are directly facilitating the illegal parking, vendors, sidewalk car washes etc.
@@GadgetAddict I know what you mean, it's really a pity when barangay officials won't do their job for fear of not being re-elected.. I guess there's money on the line
Thank for sharing stay connected
Hey man i hope the mmda clear the footbridges of vendors coz theyre occupying half of the walking lane especially there at edsa pasay taft rotunda going to mrt/lrt and the bus carousel terminal and the one in roxas blvd where theres another bus carousel terminal there.
11:17 those person asking those questions, are the ones who didn't took their driving seminar seriously, or someone arrange their DL for them. and of course you need to put on your safety gears for them selves anywhere you go. does weren't design for display. does designed and made for everybody's safety. what a stupid question...
It amazes me that they insist they got their license through the correct process, but either seem to be unaware of the most basic rules, or just completely disregard them - simply because they don't agree with it.
@@GadgetAddict you know what ever since i got my DL from DMV (US). that is when i realize safety 1st. hehehe
There should be no discussion with drivers about parking on sidewalks. RA 4136 is clear > Section 52. Driving or parking on sidewalk. - No person shall drive or park a motor vehicle upon or along any sidewalk, path or alley not intended for vehicular traffic or parking.
Try here in proj4 there's a lot of riders who doesn't have a licence and don't wear helmets even tricycle drivers
so does the MMDA ignore the fact that the guy has a gun? no questions about PTC?
He has the gun because he's a police officer, according to the ID he showed.
What happened to the gun? You cant just carry a gun openly even if you have a license.
He's allegedly a police officer.
It always been that way. DILG still no action from this agency to file cases againsts bgry officials negligible of their duties.
Why is the fine more expensive on not proper helmet vs no helmet at all?
that's a good catch an example of a ninja cop ready to his target. what happen to the gun maybe the guy is npa ,hired killer..
dyan lang ako gang...🤣🤣🤣
do you even arrest jeepneys with no franchise or license for that matter?
Wow Police officer has no helmer, no shoes, no plate, and the top of that no Drivers License. Uphold the Law as they say.
At least he has Police ID.
No plate/ registration, no license, armed. Should be enough to detain said driver and up for questioning with the PNP
He is PNP. He showed his Police ID.
@@GadgetAddict still pretty shady if you ask me
Why was the permit to carry not checked by pnp? Thought they always have a police escort after the baclaran incident?
The violation was about traffic law, not because he had a gun. Having a gun is not illegal unless you did or do something to it unlawfully, and that is when the police can ask him for his permit to carry. There's no reasonable and probable cause for the police to ask him for permit to carry if the violation is about not wearing a helmet.
There's really no escape with the members of the Voltes V team catches you.
Always remember, driving a motor vehicle is just a PRIVILEGE and not a RIGHT...that is why we should follow all the laws associated with driving motor vehicle.
And aside from respecting the law, it's just basic self preservation to act the right way on the road, to avoid serious accidents and injuries.
No Plate, No helmet, No License, No Shoes = No Motorcycle
13:40 Looking forward DILG, we will take note of that
People here in the Philippines Want a change but they don't even change..a lot of people are stubborn.
The MMDA should call the police before they let go the man with a pistol for interrogation of why he is carrying a gun?.
Call the police? He is the police 🙈
But yeah, it doesn't set a good example
He showed his Police ID. That's why he has the gun.
Yes you’re thinking it, Gadget Addict. Are these people really this thick? Yes they are!
Longer video pls🤙
The Barangay's should have penalties for not doing the jobs or sacked
Hopefully the DILG will be able to take action one day. If the Barangays were maintaining the efforts of the MMDA, everyone would benefit - except for violators.
Same old CIRCUS just with different CLOWNS.
If he was a policeman during on duty he should be in his police uniform. If off duty he should have a special permit or copy of authority from their superior officers allowing them to carry guns off duty. Anyway as a law abiding citizen he should have brought his driver's license and OR CR when driving.
Carrying guns outside without permit to carry makes that man a dangerous person.
Pulis Patola should be investigated for abuse of authority, no liscence no helmet but gun wasn't conceiled.
Is he active or awol or what?
I think Philippines gov should look into adding more he hefty penalties for drivers who park on the side of the road... the traffic is becoming unbearable...

they need to increase the penalty fee for each infraction. i bet if those fees are expensive, people will think twice.
business is booming😊
no plate no helmet no license and yet he didn't forget his gun. mayabang. Was he planning to shoot his way out or something? If the MMDA would check further, i bet he also forgot his underwear. Obviously for this guy, he believes his gun is his all around pass.
What happened to the gun did they confiscated the gun and arrest the person?
And I believe its also a "NO, NO" to have their firearm tucked in their waist?
"Dyan lang ako gang!" 🤣
Do they issue a ticket for having false official stickers? They should
There's no such violation that they can enforce. It could potentially fall under userp or authority, but that's beyond traffic enforcers.
Satisfying
That is why I don't drive in the PI. You take your life into your own hands. There is no enforcement here in Lipa with 3 people on a motorcycle with a little kid in the front and back with NO helmets. Grab scooters speeding, it is crazy. Unless you change the culture it isn't going to change.
Very encouraging to see the authorities enforcing the law. 👍👍👍
Good job MMDA
