- The exclusive Busway solved a lot of the chaos on EDSA.
The buses are no longer swerving between every lane and causing so much traffic with illegal loading and illegal terminals.
Plus commuters now get to their destination much faster than before, thanks to the exclusive lane and organized bus stops. Often their trip is as short as 30 minutes, compared to the 2-3 hours the same trip would take in the past.
And because emergency vehicles like ambulances are also allowed to use the busway, they can respond faster and improve the chances of saving a life.
For safety reasons, many of the concrete barriers were replaced with metal poles. Especially on the flyovers and tunnels.
Unfortunately, as you’ve seen in some of my videos, many of those metal poles were already ran over and destroyed, leaving sections of the busway unprotected.
But there are still yellow lane markings, overhead signs, roadside signs and even “BUS ONLY” painted on the floor.
Tinugunan ng eksklusibong busway ang maraming gusot sa EDSA.
Hindi na kinakailangang lumihis ang mga bus sa pagitan ng bawat linya at maging sanhi ng trapik dahil sa mga ilegal na pagsakay-baba at mga ilegal na terminal.
Isa pa, nakakarating ang mga mananakay sa kani-kanilang paroroonan nang mas mabilis kumpara dati, salamat sa eksklusibong linya at mga maayos na hintuan ng mga bus. Madalas, ang kanilang byahe ay 30 minutong igsi lamang, kumpara sa 2-3 oras ng parehong byahe dati.
At dahil pinahihintulutang gumamit ng busway ang mga emergency vehicle tulad ng mga ambulansya, nakakatugon sila nang mas mabilis at napapa-igi ang pagligtas ng buhay.
Para sa kaligtasan, pinalitan ng mga bakal na poste ang maraming mga konkretong harang-lalo na sa mga flyover at tunnel.
Kaya lang, makikita sa ilang mga video, marami sa mga bakal na poste ang nasagasaan at nasira, at naiwang walang proteksyon ang ilang bahagi ng busway.
Pero mayroon pa ring mga yellow lane na marka, mga overhead sign, mga roadsign at maging mga pininturahang “BUS ONLY” sa daan

Why is the barrier removed from that bus way? To issue many tickets to drivers?
@Ryan V. As explained the concrete barriers were replaced with metal poles on the flyovers and tunnels.
But most of those poles already got ran over and destroyed.
Is that the only way you can obey the bus lane? If there's a concrete barrier to block you?
All the signs and lane markings mean nothing to you?
These enforcers are putting themselves in harm's way just to apprehend these idiots. Kudos to these guys for doing a great job.

Pabor ako sa malaking PAGBABAGO ng edsa kaso rider din ako at araw araw dumadaan dyan. Ang ikinasasama ko lang ng loob ay kung bakit Wala na kaming lane na mga nagmomotor. Dapat Sana Yung bicycle lane nila Kasama na Ang bike at motor para di kami nakikipag patentero sa mga 4wheels..
Through this, it's a very needed thing to do for both MMDA and for the people to really do their best to go through the time to discipline themselves, though I'm sorry for the two Officers who died through doing these kind of jobs, they were doing what they thought was the best option when they were doing their duties. Rest in peace for them. And as for the Kamote Drivers... NEVER ENDS AS USUAL!! Even with all the cameras and the damn warnings, they never seem to stop!

There should be elevated penalty if you try to ignore traffic enforcer instructions - trying to escape capture or running over.

Sa mga motoristang naaabala dahil sa humahabang pila ng mga tinetikitan dahil sa mga violation. Magalit kayo sa mga kamoteng driver at hindi sa MMDA kasi kahanga-hanga ang tyaga at dedikasyon nila para mahuli at madisiplina ang mga kamoteng driver sa lansangan natin. Keep it up MMDA!

This is what we need, "Enforcement of the Law". Thanks to the current administration that laws are being enforced. In this case, citizens will have no choice but to discipline themselves. That's that the freedom they wanted after EDSA revolution, freedom to break the laws so they can do whatever they want and disregard the rules.

Exclusive bike lanes, Exclusive Bus lanes,..but no exclusive Motorcycle lanes. MMDA /HPG checkpoints are mostly the only thing exclusive to motorcycles, even Covid Checkpoints, motorcycles are the only one being checked. I don't even own a motorcycle but I can see that the law are unfair to them.
Let's admit that the motorcycle is the most bullied vehicle here in the PH
Majority of lawbreakers on road are motorcycle riders. Nothing is unfair.
Cars were detained as well in other videos, motorcycles are small is easier for them to lurk between vehicles.

The good thing about the Netherlands with bikes dominates the road. less accident, less pollution, fewer gas expenses and good exercise as you can see the majority of people are fit. Plus the pedestrian and sidewalk are safer than Philippines.
that's because most filipino motorists are cavemen minded and aren't ready for personal vehicle ownerships. To be fair though the mindset is shaped by the infrastructure and unfortunately Manila isn't made to handle this kind of traffic either. Unfortunately that's just what happens when an American holiday destination in the American colonial period has to adopt modern standards almost overnight if you put it into context. Same story with the rest of the 3rd world that's struggling to catch up with the times.
Rovocation of license should also be considered to lessen traffic violators who intentionaly disregard traffic rules.

Installed Cameras - To capture all the violators Licence plates and fined them - No need for Traffic Officers to endanger their lives -
It's already being done but a large percentage of motorcycles don't have license plates.
This is where the doble plaka would make sense as well. Easier to identify violators.

last videos were about motorbikes still using bus lanes....keep targeting the same area for months so the drivers who uses the same route gets the picture and LEARN. Continue to ticket and punish repeat offenders...until they change their habits. Also, with revenues from ticketing, hire more officers and target other busy and nonbusy areas. The habits need to change, needs to learn thru punishments and ticketing. I also dont like those zig zagging in traffic as it also stalls traffic because automobiles needs to be defensive which creates confusion. These motorbike drivers needs safety first mentality, not hurry mentality. Smooth flow gets everyone get to where they need to be timely.

Before, you were forced to stay in one lane that is also shared with cars.
Now motorcycles are allowed to use all lanes, just like a car.
