    I am happy for you Simagic acknowledges the potential of your channel. You are so cool! If I had the money to upgrade from the CLS DD, I would probably leave Fanatec and go for Simagic. Their new entry level GT neo wheel looks amazing, and I love the P1000 and those shakers.

      Thanks for watching matey 🙌🏻 hoping this year you get to upgrade 🤞🏼but hey it took me 3-5 years to get a decent setup, you don’t need to buy everything at once. Upgrade what is most necessary for you first and go from there 👍🏻

    Can also buy simagic l bracket for $25. It allows you to mount in an angle. Works for all the shifters and handbrakes

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  9 місяців тому +1

      Yes maybe bracket is the way to go, I bought the simlabs bracket and it is so big and I struggle to mount handbrake and shifter with hole pattern this kinda put me off buying more brackets. I will have look at SiMagics bracket though

      Dont buy the simagic bracket. Its way too small and is pretty flimsy. I made the mistake of buying it and it sucks.

    Nice review. Just one nitpick - you mention perpendicular to the handle, but you are showing parallel to the handle. My guess would be that the reservoir should be perpendicular to the ground (so that the liquid does not leak) .

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  14 днів тому +1

      100% yes perpendicular to the floor as you pointed out, what I meant was parallel to the handle 🙌 but if handle is in flat position then yes can't be parallel but rather perpendicular 🤪

    Its black Friday month so i may as well treat myself to a new handbrake. I'll get the tb1. Im only going to start the car on dirt rally 2 and do handbrake turns and thats it. Fanatec are getting rid of their old handbrake. Had a quick research on it and heard its not progressive so forget it. I'll look at the tb1 instead

    • @TheSimCircuit

      The tb1 a great handbrake, what you see is what you get. It's well built, solid and feels like a real handbrake 🙌🏼 I'm sure you will be very happy with it 😉

    I found your channel searching for a comparison of these two handbrakes. I subscribed for the amazing job you did. :) FYI The "TB" Stands for tire breaker :P I'm likely going to snap up a TB-1 and DS8X this week. Thanks for the review.

    I'm so conflicted between the two here. Do you know if the new Neo shakers work with the TB-RS?

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  29 днів тому +1

      Hey matey, yes the Neo shakers do work on the TB-RS, not gona lie I still have the TB-RS fitted to my rig and I absolutely love how you can make the handbrake feel exactly the way you want 🙌🏻 the shaker does add to the experience but it is a bit of a gimmick and not necessary, nice extra but definitely not the reason you should be buying the TB-RS. If you are using a handbrake frequently then treat yourself if your using a handbrake once in a wile the TB1 is fantastic. Tb1 what you see is what you get a great solid handbrake that is setup and ready to go straight out of the box.
      Hopefully did not make the decision harder for you lol 😜

      @ thanks so much, I think this is exactly what I needed to know, TB-RS with a shaker because I mostly do drifting and rally. Just subscribed as well, your videos are some of the best when it comes to gear. Cheers!

    I wonder if its ok to use springs from the simagic spring upgrade kit in the tb-rs? Has anyone tried or does anyone have input on this?

      I say open it and remove that little spring and add some steel washers. The spring doesn’t make it feel like it’s two stage. It just adds a dead zone at the beginning of your pull.
