Starting sim racing has been in the backburner for a long time for me. I have always wanted to start and create content out of it to UA-cam, just dont know where to start and what videos to produce. Since AC EVO released, I had to whip out my Moza R9 and start lapping. So much so, that I have almost 12 hours of playtime already.
Woops. My Bad. I had the game loaded on an HDD and not an SSD. Apologies. I am very impressed considering Evo is early launch. Well worth the experience with the realistic handling. Impressed and looking forward to the future of this product.
Some cars actually have working sunroofs Audi RS3 is one, go in the control options menu and in the search box type Animations and a list of 5 animations will show up. bind those to your keyboard and see what happens.
Just bought my first sim racing set up, but wanting to start for a while and finally did it, I went with a simagic setup, alpha wheelbase, FX-C wheel and P-1000 pedals mounted on a sim-lab P1X pro, now I just have to get good at racing 😅
I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING Assetto Corsa Evo. The driving dynamics feel soo good. Driving the Ferrari 488 around Mt Panorama has been one of the best driving experiences of my life.
@@fishingalot247 I know and played all racing games since super Monaco gp bro... And yeah, forza 3 and gran turismo 4 are far better than this... Even real racing 3 for mobile phones to be honest... But you'll never know! Because you're an ac fan boy!😉 Please stop call that 💩 a driving simulator! I've never rotate the steering wheel like that in my cars when in straight line! In AC series an expensive steering wheel works like a joystick! But you don't notice it because you don't even have a driving licence. All steering input degrees are not like they should in real cars. You don't steer, you point a direction with your circular joystick...😂🤣😂🤣😂 Now go do your homework!
Not all beginner friendly leagues are beginner or friendly. It takes time to find leagues that have people that want to help you get better. Most leagues in my experience have at least one prick in it that it ruins the experience.
Can't really afford to buy a full sim rig. Well, I could but space is the problem. I just want a game with good sp campaign with better gameplay and sim elements than GT while also still feeling good on a controller and Evo doesn't offer that at all. I really wish there was an Enthusia 2, man. I will go back and try AC1 modded with Gamepad FX while waiting for Evo to be actually playable on controller.
after playing EVO and driving all the cars. its actually a really good game for early access. i relaly like the driving behaviors. i just need to teste the drifting on it will do soon. I'm a big fan of original AC and the mod community.
Ok, I have an issue I can't seem to figure out. In AC-E, how do you change the drive view from cockpit to bonnet, bumper or 3rd person view? I can't seem to figure this out.
Going to buy a gaming computer from Best Buy for about 899. Then use an hdmi from the computer to my LG C1 and play it with Xbox controller. On my tv so I need to download steam and buy Evo through steam ?
@ I hear you on that. But I feel it’s only going to get better. I’m new to pc gaming. So trying to sort everything out. I’m strictly just ps5 and xbox. What other racing sims for pc? I like some of the cars evo has so far
Yes that's all u need to do to get in. Keep in mind the cpu and gpu of the build for a good experience. 899 may not have the most capable components to give u the pc experience your looking for.AC Evo at the moment is pretty intensive in its early state Forza motorsport isn't a bad complete sim and easy to pick up and motorfest is just pure fun for wheel
We are still yet to see how the academy feature turns out in Evo if they nail it we will see more organised multiplayer races and less turn one carnage
I assume it will be optimised to achieve more than 20fps? Currently I have had to set at lowest setting and revert to the previous version of driver to get my 3070 to achieve a man 29fps. I really do hope Evo will be optimised
5600 with a 3070 ti (both slightly oc'ed) at 4k and yeah i know what you mean. Usually over 70-80 solo, but suzuka seems to run a bit worse. Going with 5 cars will bring it under 60 at times. Max field is unplayable. All lowest settings, dlss quality (or off). VRAM (and possibly also ram) is a big issue. 8GB cards will suffer right now. After a few patches I'll hop back in and optimize further, but I don't have the time and interest to do that several times over the next several builds lol. I'm assuming they have debugging on, which will eat a lot of performance. Regardless, the game has a long way to go. It'll be months until the general player should play this. It's basically alpha right now, and people need to accept it as that.
So, a game in early access, without multiplayer, 30 euros, graphics need hardcore hardware, is the best to start/try simracing. This video can easily be one of the worst from 2025.
You went to that expo and that's the best advice you can give? Pretty sad tbh. Cammus C5 is a better option than either of those two bundles, it barely costs more and it's a direct drive. No wiggle delay, no disturbing noise, stronger force feedback, etc.

ac evo is amazing each car has a unique ignition startup and starter motor sound
Can't run it on my machine even on the lowest setting in single player practice. CPU 3700x, GPU 5700XT, 32gb Ram

I’m excited to start racing in ACE with the sim magic alpha I just need a rig lol

Ok, I have learned from someone how to bind it.
Yeah I bought the game on release day and I can’t even start the Damm game

I get 70fps on a 3060ti 4K DLSS perf. Try to use fullscreen mode and avoid vsync

It seems that the game runs much better on AMD hardware.
@@MARTINIVILKS that's very nice for the small amount of people using AMD. Now they need to focus on 90% of people not using AMD.
