Great job Robert. I’m going to try this method which I think would work a whole lot better than the Draping method. Thanks 🙏 for sharing and you are an amazing Instructor. U r the best.👍
I am so amazing how far you have come compare to you earlier years video. You are mastering your craft. You videos are informative, educational, humorous, and satisfying to watch. ❤
Any and all tutorials!! Love them. Question about fondant, I know it makes the cake look really nice, but I've heard it doesn't taste good. Is there plenty of icing behind it? I'm all about some icing/frosting.
Wow! I love your video. You really took your time to show us how to achieve each step and correct any mistake made. I had watched a video on how to do this but it wasnt as self explanatory as yours. Thank you. I will definitely share this with my friends who make cake. I have a question, Can I spray a plain cake with water that has no ganache on it to stick my foundant?
Robert, you are the best teacher!! I love all the details of exactly why each step is important. I think it would be cool if you sold cake kits to make different cake styles (from your vids) and then people could film themselves tryna make your cakes and you could go through and explain what went wrong😂 and we could all laugh and learn! No matter what you do, your joyful open manner will keep you blessed. 🙏🏽💕
Great video...this is the way I also prefer to cover for all the reasons you state. Suggestion for you...I leave the cake upside down when applying the fondant around the cake and trim the cake against the cake board. This way, you get a clean straight edge on both sides easily without the risk of damaging the top while trimming. Give it a try! :-) Keep up the good work!
Well-done Raymond! I would have loved to see how the cake looked from the top to know if the joining shows. I'll also like to see you do the draping method 😁.
Great video! I need to try this method, i always drape but can’t get the nice sharp edges… I had no idea you had a you tube channel - I follow you on insta! Love the bloopers 🎉😂❤
You make it look so easy, I struggle with fondant, I recently did a wedding cake but I can see from the photos it looked like the fondant was melting, bulging and looked too soft, is there any way to fix that 😊
Hello, Can you please share the foundant you are using. Is a ready made one or Did you make it from scratch. I struggle with getting a good foundant while affects me badly when decorating my cake. Looking forward to your reply.
Hello! I’m new here and I’ve quickly come to love your UA-cams. In one of your UA-cam’s, could you please make a zodiac sign (ie: Capricorn 😊)cake? I love the decorations on cakes but I can cook/bake almost anything except these type of cakes. I’m very old fashioned 😅Thank you so much and keep doing what you’re doing.
For an expert, a steamer is OK, but for a beginner who may need to peel of the fondant I. Case they make a mistake, it's a lot better to use like a cooking spray so that it can come off cleanly without ripping off the ganache
I love the way you explain what you are doing and why it is important!
Thanks for a great video. I never knew when the fondant was kneeded enough. Now I know. Thanks again😊
Great job Robert. I’m going to try this method which I think would work a whole lot better than the Draping method. Thanks 🙏 for sharing and you are an amazing Instructor. U r the best.👍

Any and all tutorials!! Love them. Question about fondant, I know it makes the cake look really nice, but I've heard it doesn't taste good. Is there plenty of icing behind it? I'm all about some icing/frosting.
Yes you can still use frosting underneath and it's easy to peel off if someone doesn't like it

Hello, Can you please share the foundant you are using. Is a ready made one or Did you make it from scratch. I struggle with getting a good foundant while affects me badly when decorating my cake. Looking forward to your reply.
You know if you multiply π (3.14) with however many inches the cake is you get the circumference of the cake too, right? Like 3.14 x 8 = 25.
Great and useful tutorial....thanks or sharing.
