What is the stuff that you keep painting on there? You paint the top of the cake before you put the fondant on it and you keep painting at different times with some kind of paint brush. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this very helpful video! What is the consistency of your fondant that the top edge of it stands up like that without dropping and cuts so cleaning without dragging or tearing? Mine looks much softer than that though it dries quickly, so should I let it dry a little before I trim? Thank you so much x
Thanks for sharing this, I have tried this method but do not like that there is a visible seam around the edge. How do you seal it so that it isn't visible?
My first paneling turned out great!! Thank you so much!! 😊
Thank you so much for the video, will the fondant sweat since you placed the cake in the fridge before covering?
Hi, what is your fondant thickness? Thank you
What powder did you sprinkle on the table ?

I’m terrified to panel. That ganache is BEAUTIFUL! I’m terrified of ganache too 😩😩😩
Thank you! Don’t be afraid of ganache! It’s easier to work with than with buttercream in my opinion 😊
@@NataliesCakes Can you share your ganache recipe for this kind of need?
Ganache is life!! I now hate it when my customers ask for buttercream 😩🤣

Thanks for sharing this, I have tried this method but do not like that there is a visible seam around the edge. How do you seal it so that it isn't visible?
Aiden0422 if you add a little bit of water to the edge, it seals better and is almost invisible.
Natalie's Cakes I will try that, thanks for helping everyone with your tutorials. I appreciate it
My pleasure :)
The fondant looks hard, did u put it in d fridge?
Ekeoma Okwunakwe no... I treated it with Tylose powder
Come to think of it,would I use less fondant this way?
earth angel hmm I never paid attention but it’s very possible! Especially if you roll it thin
Grest video ❤❤❤❤
So when you’re finished doing the top and about to roll out fondant for the side, does the cake need to go back into fridge?
No. Not necessary. Unless it takes you a while to get back to it
So good
Can you give us the recipe of your fondant
Vivian Shema I used Satin Ice fondant :)
Wow this is super nice!
How long did it take?
can i use royal icing to cover the seams on top?
cikenbrand I don’t see why not. You can also mix a piece of fondant with a tiny bit of water if you’d like and use that mixture
