Just pulled the trigger on a 2011 this evening, interesting fact about the 1kg Libertad, which I only found out from the bullion dealer is, it isn’t classed as a coin, it’s classed as a round, as there is no face value on it. The 2011 one I got has a high mintage and wasn’t much more than buying 32.15oz of generic rounds👍
very true there's an argument regarding its l classification as a "coin". I say it is a coin..... there's no denomination on the coin, however, The Bank of Mexico buy back Libertads at full spot price. It's actually better than any den nomination value on any coin.
