Neat trade! It's amazing how the Libs have gone from the generic bin to super scarce and coveted.
My My My how times have changed for me..... Referring to the stock market - the first 5 weeks of 2022 in my mutual fund portfolio have seen a drop equal to my income from my first 3 years of teaching in 1978-1980. Of course, equally amazing change the amount I earned in the same funds in 2021.
Libertads are worth more now? Huh - I need to go back to my stack and see how many I have! LOL If I can trade 60 for 95 I am all about that! It sounds like you made a good deal.
My stacking for the last 3 years, I fear, has become boring as hell! I have 7 more of the 20 franc gold coins on order and will video when they come, but I long for some excitement.
Perhaps one day just having some gold and silver will be excitement enough! Thanks for a great video!

Nice swap, Louie. I went to Mexico in Nov/Dec 2021 and was able to pick up about 50 1 oz BU silver Libertad’s. The Mexican Mint (Casa de Moneda) sells them to the public through the Banco Azteca at a great price (depending on the exchange rate).

Oh how I love the Libertads. Especially the 15 ozt ones we traded for. Oh how I hate tape. I have always used elastic bands or closed cell foam and staples. No one has told me that the methods I use marred the pieces I sent. I was shocked when I saw what you have done but you really have some neat and a healthy trade happening here. As always ole son I always look forward to seeing and hearing what you are up to and send greetings from snowy BC Canada. Your a great friend and confidant. Funny, now you have more libertads than me! But I'm on a mission to increase weight. Their are two sides to every trade and its great to see everyone get what they need. I do hope you are having a mild winter buddy. If not, turn on that ol torch, and fire up a nice piece of poured silver for us!

Nice trade... I'm primarily a collector and own one tube of 1 oz Libertads + 5 oz BU, Proof and Reverse Proof coins. I will never sell them. I also love Perth Mint coins - especially the Lunar Series - or exclusive releases. I live in Korea and collect of a lot of KOMSCO silver medallions (Tiger cub series & Phoenix) + 1 kg Korean minted bars. Congratulations.... on all the nice coins and bars.

I love my libs too much to let ‘em go. I think that’s what my problem is though. I need more bullion that I’m not so attached to. That’s the goal for 2022, generic bullion bars and rounds that won’t hurt to trade for gold when the GSR improves.
Exactly. Extracting the premium from desirable coins can take time. So, when something has appreciated like this, I like to switch it out. My goal is to trade for gold someday too!

@@HarmonixHealing Hi Esoterc33 Nice to meet you. With the M2 money supply skyrocketing i expect precious metals will eventually catch up to its true fundamental value. I read recently that Bank of America is also shorting the precious metals market. And according to Lynette Zang banks have been accumulating Gold and Silver like crazy this past year. It's amazing how much media distraction there is with precious metals. Here is my rational if the US mint can charge $80 dollars per 1 oz of silver and the spot is at $22 dollars that's some serious markup. Spot price should be so much higher.

And how can I contact you for I have some questions concerning gold and silver so I can trade if possible though it makes me a little nervous cause I never had traded on the Internet before.
