Is it cheap to mod being a German car and all would it be pretty expensive?
Hey , no not really. Only BMWs and Mercedes get expensive. Most cars below 30k are affordable to modify. I have a bunch of mod videos if you want to check it out
@@DrivenByChris for sure just picked up my 2016 tsi tryna build it and tune it might get some ideas off of you
@@SmileandShoot oh cool , sounds good. I am here to help. Do you have the 1.4 or 1.8 tsi?
@@DrivenByChris it’s the 1.4L! But I don’t like the paint job it’s blue but funny thing I wanted to make it look almost exactly like yours with the black exterior with like chrome grille shit like that and yellow accents
@@SmileandShoot nice nice, you could always buy some wrap for like $500 and wrap it gloss black, make it like a project. I’m actually going to be wrapping my car in a couple of months. I have some more videos coming up. I have been doing a lot of mods
How did you do the tune im getting stage 2 unitronic for my Jetta
I just got the downpipe and flashed the car
Oh ok you did it yourself?
@@Euroboyz_sq yes!
Oh ok nice
Where did you buy the seat covers?
CarID
Where did you get your seat covers?!
Online CARID !
Where did you get your coil packs? None of the ones I see say they fit the ea211. Thanks
If you check my video about the coil packs , I think I linked it. If you watch that video too, I explain that they DO NOT fit and you have to modify them to fit .
Ever had any problems with the tune?
Nope ! Check out my other videos. I do some pulls and have sound clips!
For some reason sometimes when I pull hard in 3rd it literally feels like my car loses the tune. Then I just keep driving and once I get on it again it’ll work fine
@@achonjoel that doesn't sound right.... any codes?
None... I was going to try and download the 1+ and see if it runs better... or install the apr coils
@@achonjoel might be bad gas or something with your fueling system. Maybe spark plugs or coil packs. Depends. No way to tell unless you check for codes or data log.
How did you get the gauge sweep?
it was enabled/coded via obd11
@@DrivenByChris ok awesome you can help me. I have a 2021 golf 1.4 tsi and I have the obdeleven. It won't work. What do I do
what do you mean? It won't work? For me , it was just an option to enable. It's called three different things, I had to turn them all on . " celebration " "gauge sweep", and something else. I forgot. It was in long code helper, I think
@@DrivenByChris I just tried using the guage sweep app and it says "failed". Should I use all 3 apps that you did. "guage sweep""celebration" and whatever the other one is
@@HallidayEstel oh it actually says "failed" ? That could be saying the "code" is wrong. Try the other options. I had to try a few
E-85 NO! Anything over E-15 is not advised, ends warranty. Why you even use under 90 octane is highly questionable, you will get knocking.
