Somehow their manager or someone got MTV to change their mind and gave them one slot 3am Mon morning (dead zone). When they played Welcome to the Jungle 10,000 calls came in at once and their switchboard got fire🤣🤣Also in Sweet Child of Mine, at the end of Slash's solo Axl said I don't know where to go from here and that became the lyrics.

Video was put on UA-cam in 2009. This song dropped back in the late 80's. I was in middle school and my buddy's big brother came to pick us up from school. He had this blaring on the car stereo. I was blown away. I was a big Iron Maiden and Judas Priest fan back then and GnR was something completely different and new. They really did change the face of the rock scene. They helped transition rock out of the hair metal era.

Guns and Roses own the bestest debut album ever. Even if Boston and Pearl Jam and N.W.A. have something to say. The song itself is about the URBAN jungle of Los Angeles.
This was the 80's! Maybe someone put the video up later....but this was big time late 80's besides perms and curling hair, there was a lot of back combing back then to get the messy level the song is about moving out to LA and what it Jungle it was on the streets and trying to make it
I remember the first time this was played on MTV, caught the world premier on Headbangers Ball in late '87 and was blown away. The next day I drove up to the nearest music store and bought the cassette (yeah, I'm that old,...). I was like Typhoid Mary with that thing, everyone heard it before they hit the radio, and they all had at least one favorite song. Didn't matter what music you liked, there was something for everyone.
I'm having an Asia and BJ Monday marathon! ♥️ This is their first song they released, it came out in 87 and I fell in LOVE! The producers/record giants thought Axl needed the big hair (very teased) but he hated it and it didn't last long thank goodness!
I wanted to share this little tid bit. Guns & Roses and Eazy E & NWA had mutual admiration for each other as music artists. During a concert in 1988 Axl Rose sported an NWA had, showing them admiration & support. They met and partied together and became friends. They were supposed to go on tours together. During these times, it was unheard of for rock/metal groups to associate with rap artists, with exception to Run DMC & Aerosmith. It would have been awesome if they collaborated on a song or two together.
Bringing me back to HS.. loved my Hair Bands back in the day! Still love them actually.. it's sad what happened to the band and Axel but when they were good... they were fire.
OMG, please do more Guns n Roses !!......Sweet Child of Mine, Patience, and please do the live ones when u can......they don't sound any different and Axl is a beast live !!
He's talking about life, the sheep always get eaten and taken advantage of. They did in 1985 or 86 whenever this was written just like today. Its timeless. His talking voice is actually really deep for how high he sings. Check out "There was A Time" a song from a very different era of this band, but a good song regardless, and not one the other reaction channels are likely to cover.

Would love to know who is in your top 10
That’s tough. I go Alice In Chains, Tool, Pantera, Jinjer, Megadeth, Rage, soundgarden, Down, Mother Love Bone, Orange Goblin. Something like that. Yes I’m from Seattle and yes I grew up in the 90’s so I love the grunge
@@Trendkiller196 you obviously know nothing about music with that top 10
Appetite (1987) arguably the best rock album of all time. 🔥
80’s rule- especially Live. Music was literally falling out of the sky. 🎼❤️🤘😎🔥
Yo yall, Red Hot Chili Peppers is the best Rock Band in the land nowadays, check out some, HEY, DON'T STRIP MY MIND, RAINDANCE MAGGIE, I COULD HAVE LIED, SCAR TISSUE, WET SAND.
I’m reliving my childhood & teenage yrs thru ur alls vids today. Haha
I remember seeing them in the clubs in Hollywood back in the 80’s. Sunset strip was amazing!!
When I was in high school my drama teacher said a woman in her book club's son and his band was about to hit it big as a rock band. The next year this came out! Turns out he was from Lafayette, IN, about 40 miles from me!
What's up y'all?🔥 Reaction again. His voice was unreal and the different levels he could sing.he was bad ass.would have been unreal to watch them grow, but he was to stuck on himself and that was his downfall.
Guns and Roses own the bestest debut album ever. Even if Boston and Pearl Jam and N.W.A. have something to say. The song itself is about the URBAN jungle of Los Angeles.
I have an ECHL hockey team here in my city that play this song all the time as their entrance theme when they get introduced
This was the 80's! Maybe someone put the video up later....but this was big time late 80's
besides perms and curling hair, there was a lot of back combing back then to get the messy level
the song is about moving out to LA and what it Jungle it was on the streets and trying to make it
I have come back I cannot tell you how many times to watch this ! I love this song !!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was 1 years old when this song came out and they are still my favorite band
can't wait to see y'all dive down the Guns n' Roses rabbit hole. too many great songs to mention here.
I was 14 years old in 85 when they hit the scene , It is Axl Roses fault that i was all tatted up by the time i was 16, lol
Recorded and released as their debut album in 1987
I wanted to share this little tid bit.
Do knocking on heavens door at the Freddie Mercury tribute in 1992. You will love it!!!
I love watching y’all’s reactions and this is my favorite band! So please, listen to some more;}>
Bringing me back to HS.. loved my Hair Bands back in the day! Still love them actually.. it's sad what happened to the band and Axel but when they were good... they were fire.
I'm 33. My mum was playing this dancing about her kitchen when I was young.
I've heard it a gazillion times und will always be in my play list. :-)
In 87 LA was a jungle! Crack and everything else, welcome to the jungle!!!
I was living there!!!!
OMG, please do more Guns n Roses !!......Sweet Child of Mine, Patience, and please do the live ones when u can......they don't sound any different and Axl is a beast live !!
Should have had stock in hair spray back in the hair band days. Great reaction. You two are such a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
This LP was released in 1987. It was game changing in the music world.
