When you get your CTSV tuned, I highly recommend Rick Crawford. They call him the “Wizard” and it made since why when he tuned my car. He also set the world record for the fastest G8 N/A with no nitrous.
Man I can not thank you enough on the advice you gave to make my 2012 CTS V faster and now this. Right between the eyes I only subscribed a day ago and I know so much more about making the faster and thanks for the video on how to lower this bad ass V also. You’re brilliant
I agree Hellcats really whine. Lots going on right now. Trying to make time for the Trans Am when I can. May be a few more months due to other things in progress and vacation
Travis, I put a Corsa exhaust, aFe cold air intake, hotchkis sway bars, and bell tech lowering kit on my 2016 Cadillac Escalade. I am considering a whipple or magnuson supercharger. Which one would you recommend?
Hey Travis, just put on my AirAid as well. Everything looks good but kinda concerned about the MAF sensor. It’s literally sitting an inch above the belt.. is yours the same?
Never got why everyone disconnects the negative cable when working on anything under the hood. The only time its absolutely necessary is when working on the starter for obvious reasons (if you are mechanically inclined). Coming from a career mechanic, we never disconnect the battery unless working with the starter or a very few other electronic parts
..Yea i really enjoyed that video man..sounds waaay more bad ass😈 i just love american muscle cars.. maybe some headers next.make it snappy like Nascar Cheers from the uk
The money you spend on a tune you will get back real fast in added MPG. 20 to 25% in fuel economy efficiency is normal after tune even on stock applications.
@@TWAMotorsports couple of questions. Do you know if anyone sells the air raid with the green filter ? My car had zero supercharger whine. Was yours the same. Until you installed this
@@CampbellSuperKids pretty much the same on this one. Couldn't here it. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who sells them like this. That's why I posted 2 separate links.
Bro what a pain in the a**. If it wasn't for your video I would of returned it. talking about shity instructions from the company. I still didn't Finnish it cause I might just return it just because...thanks for your videos...
That ground screw under the filter assembly was a pain in the ass
It wasn't too bad but the hardest to reach for sure.
That chromaflair grey really pops in the sun, beautiful color.
I agree it was a favorite of mine

I have heard of him. I have since sold the car and replaced with a lsa Chevy SS
That stock intake really quiets down the blower, it sounds 100x better!
Yeah. Its crazy how much better it sounds.
huge difference in sound , wow
Yeah it was a big difference
I put one on my V (2014 coupe) and yes, the blower does get louder but you can take care of that with louder mufflers 😁. I put Corsa Sports on mine.
I like the quiet of the stock ones.

Edits are super clean! Thanks for making my install piece of cake! Quality looks good too bro!
Thank you. I appreciate that.
This is sick!! I just bought my Airaid intake and awaiting installation. Thank you for the multiple before and afters!!
Definitely worth it for the sound!!
Just installed my airaid intake on my 2012 V. Used your video for the install, thanks a lot!
Thank you. Glad I could help
Sounds good I need one for my V now
It does really change the sound.
I had the CTSV decal and it looked pretty good
They do look way better
Whered you get it? I wanna put it on mine too
Sounds awesome!!! Looks good too.Was thinkin the same thing about the sticker.😁.
Thank you. Yeah that sticker sucks
Did mine in 2011 ... I still have nightmares about the ground strap. You added about 20bhp. Nice work.
Mine wasn't that bad
Steve T I gave up after wrestling with it for an hour, it’s just sitting on top of the ground screw. Still solid tho, doesn’t move at all
Pickle Bacon that is so funny. My knuckles have finally healed.
Bro. You have absolutely the best road for testing and tuning! Wish it was me! 💯😁😁😌
The surface isn't great but i have rood to mess around lol
Like Tony Montana says That's a Cadillac, sounds good Travis, nice job bro
Thank you Stacy.
It sounds like a hellcat,I like it.
Hey Travis when you gonna put the engine on the trans am??
I can't wait for the first cold start.
I agree Hellcats really whine. Lots going on right now. Trying to make time for the Trans Am when I can. May be a few more months due to other things in progress and vacation
LSA blowers have the best whine !
I agree. Louder than my zr1 that's for sure
Yes. You definitely can hear a difference.
For sure. Sounds good now
@@TWAMotorsports I like it.
@@alexandermcdole8464 me too.
Thanks for the installation instructions. Car sounds way better with this CAI.
Glad I could help. Such a better sound
Good job very detailed
Thank you
That wild we own the same cars.. vette,TA,CTSV! You got good taste! Lol
Lol. I love my gm stuff
Drews decals sell CTS V stickers for this intake.
Thank you

They are both great. I have not owned a whipple but may someday. I have had a magna on an older truck. Either way you go its going to be nasty 👍
Hey Travis, just put on my AirAid as well. Everything looks good but kinda concerned about the MAF sensor. It’s literally sitting an inch above the belt.. is yours the same?
Yes it was close but made sure it had no slack to touch
thank you so much, but you are right... "they should put it together at the factory."
You're welcome. Yeah they should. It sounds SO much better
Sounds awesome bro!
Thank you
Did you get a check engine light? Did it have to be tuned. I am gettinf a engine light
No ses light but tune would help
Its louder and faster indeed
Absolutely
Can you just let the bodom open of the original air box ?
Is that a Budget ?
I wouldn't

This one requires disconnecting a set of wires low in the engine bay. Better safe than sorry.
Also so you won’t throw any codes.

@@sw-fd4ty not really
Do u know where I can find a replacement for that rubber grommet 18:20 on the video. I bought a used intake and it's missing that piece
From airaid directly I guess
Thanks for the video! Instructions sucked!
Thank you. Glad I could help
Finally good video👌💯
Thank you
This is my dream car
They are a lot of fun.
Was wondering if adding a cold air intake increases MPG?
Maybe a little but you drive harder to hear it so probably not. Lol
Do you have the solid isolator installed?
No
I need to do this to my 2009 CTS V
It's worth it for the sound👍
Yep has more zing to it
Definitely
Will this fit on any CTs ? I have a 2011 cts coupe performance package
No sorry
Does the CAI come with its own tune? If not would you recommend doing a tune after installing?
It doesn't but it would help. It isn't required though.

Need to know how much you spend on the springs
Parts listed in video description
I need this!

Not unless it has the 09 up supercharged engine.

It does
