i love learning such stuff
Thank you this video was very helpful for me to swap my isolator. That little emissions thing at 4:24 was such a pain to remove. I installed a catch can while I was in there after seeing the same blow by you did
HELL YEAH!! Glad we were able to help!! Hopefully some other videos we have will become helpfull as well.
another great video. Thanks
impressive dude
thanks for sharing it with us
My pleasure
keep sharing more content
omg wow how did u do this so well?
keep it up
Nice video!
Cooling mods next?
Dms in weatherford could have reinforced that brick since you had the lid off.
Installed a moroso catch can on my V as well and it helped a bunch
I actually have a ice tank, zl1 lid, and a new HX to go in. Along with can and tons of other stuff. Just doing baby steps :)
Will be filming it all :)
How do you like that catch can?
@@LICENSEDTOSEND nice! im slowly building mine as well. have a weapon x TA jsut sitting there, waiting for it to magically replace the stocker lol
@@LICENSEDTOSEND love it. jsut empty it out every 1k miles or so. took about 20 mins to put on.
smart fellow
Does the hub sit flush with the end of the shaft?
I'm doing this same job right now
thanks for upload this vid.
you changed upper pulley so got more sc boost more earlier? and got it whine too?
Yes to both.
@@LICENSEDTOSEND thanks!
New Subscriber here🤘🏽🤘🏽
glad to see you here. subbed to you as well.
Good job on all that. One question tho, how the hell do you wok in all that mess? I’d lose way too many parts, nuts and bolts. LOL
Good question! Very strong mental fortitude lol!!!
With all that oil in the blower, you need an oil catch can.
any update on the new motor?
You just wanted to reuse the gasket cuz it was yours and Vlads favorite color 😜
hahaha shhhh don't give my secrets away.
subscribed to ur channel
thank you
Hey I am joesphs son cool video
Yooo welcome!! also, this is not a kid-friendly channel lolol jk.
Thanks tho :-) See you around bud!!
Any problems running that isolator, I just picked up a car with 2.55 upper, ported snout, tune. Need to call the tuner to see if injectors are maxed out or not still.
0 problem. If you have the stock injectors I are most likely maxing then out.
After changing the pulley , did it make the blower louder at idle ? I recently did the same size pulley and also did the isolator but now the blower sounds louder at idle than what it used to. Is it normal ?
i dont recall it being much louder. nothing to make me feel concerned about it.
Did you change the intake gaskets before putting it back together? Thanks
intake gaskets? do you mean the intake manifold gaskets? no need for those. they are resuable. so long as you dont damage them.
Very noice
Indeed, indeed, indeed, indeed
what supporting mods do you need with the new pulley ?
if you are going to do just an upper pulley, I would suggest the solid isolator, and atleast injectors. For whatever reason the injectors max out with some good A/F tuning on the stock pulley. intake and headers would be an added bonus if you could do it, to get some of that air moving a lot better!
Did yo need to drain the coolant to change the isolator?
I did not
Any benifits using gates belt ?
not certain I could answer to it being better than any other belt "on the market" but these gates HD belts are known and proven to work well on these applications so didn't feel the need to do anything different and risk anything odd happening.
you look really good
Thanks I guess?
so difficult
What size upper was that?
2.55" upper!
this is so confusing
