    Thank you this video was very helpful for me to swap my isolator. That little emissions thing at 4:24 was such a pain to remove. I installed a catch can while I was in there after seeing the same blow by you did

    Nice video!
    Cooling mods next?
    Dms in weatherford could have reinforced that brick since you had the lid off.
    Installed a moroso catch can on my V as well and it helped a bunch

    With all that oil in the blower, you need an oil catch can.

    Any problems running that isolator, I just picked up a car with 2.55 upper, ported snout, tune. Need to call the tuner to see if injectors are maxed out or not still.

    • @LICENSEDTOSEND
      @LICENSEDTOSEND  2 роки тому +1

      0 problem. If you have the stock injectors I are most likely maxing then out.

    After changing the pulley , did it make the blower louder at idle ? I recently did the same size pulley and also did the isolator but now the blower sounds louder at idle than what it used to. Is it normal ?

    • @LICENSEDTOSEND
      @LICENSEDTOSEND  3 роки тому

      i dont recall it being much louder. nothing to make me feel concerned about it.

    Did you change the intake gaskets before putting it back together? Thanks

    • @LICENSEDTOSEND
      @LICENSEDTOSEND  2 місяці тому +1

      intake gaskets? do you mean the intake manifold gaskets? no need for those. they are resuable. so long as you dont damage them.

    what supporting mods do you need with the new pulley ?

    • @LICENSEDTOSEND
      @LICENSEDTOSEND  3 роки тому +2

      if you are going to do just an upper pulley, I would suggest the solid isolator, and atleast injectors. For whatever reason the injectors max out with some good A/F tuning on the stock pulley. intake and headers would be an added bonus if you could do it, to get some of that air moving a lot better!

    Did yo need to drain the coolant to change the isolator?

    Any benifits using gates belt ?

    • @LICENSEDTOSEND
      @LICENSEDTOSEND  3 роки тому +2

      not certain I could answer to it being better than any other belt "on the market" but these gates HD belts are known and proven to work well on these applications so didn't feel the need to do anything different and risk anything odd happening.
