INCREDIBLE!
Usually I can spot a transplant instantly because the hairline looks so unnatural. Definitely not the case here!
Amazing job Dr Linkov!!
Thanks! 🙏
Big thanks to Dr. Linkov and Max for giving us some insight on how post op aftercare looks like ❤
Max is the man!
That's fantastic work Dr.Linko I can see his confidence and overall satisfaction! Now I need to drag my Fiance to your office! Unfortunately we live in Ohio ! 🥹
Very rare to see such a natural result that could almost fool my hairdressers
eye. 👏🏽✌🏽
Many doctors would've gone much lower with the hairline and increase the density. That separates pros like Doctor Linkov from many cheap clinics I would say. Yes, it's not the hairline of a 16 year old many people want but it's an appropriate hairline for the age and also one that harmonizes well with the rest of the hair and takes into consideration further thinning in the future.
Exactly! That’s the idea.
@@drgarylinkov Can you get the density higher? Looks a little thin to me. Would touch up transplant help?
Agree I had a hair transplant at the age of 66 in Bangkok where I live. Mostly on my crown and my hair now 11 months later looks appropriate for someone my age. The two weeks after my transplant my sleep wasn't great. The clinic gave me some sleeping tablets ,the scalp felt so itchy ,hair clinic washed my hair every other day for 3 weeks. I'm pleased with the results. I will see the full results after 18 months.
I am 21 so rather have 16 year old hairline than 35

Ur too young for ht
Definitely worth pointing out that the donor area will burn a few days out and nerves in that area will fire off as they recover from the trauma
That varies quite a bit for patients. Some feel none of that and others have those sensations for weeks.
I had zero discomfort and pain in my donor area.
I didnt have any irratation in my donor area after 2700 grafts, did have terrible swelling in my face though lol, great video, patient looks great.@drgarylinkov
I had 2 FUT's in the 2000s and 1 FUE in 2019 and in none of them did I experience any pain after the surgery itself (but they did give me some good pain meds for the FUTs back before opioids were a bad name!)
I didn't have that issue, however I am 10 months out and I still have some nerve sensitivity over the recipient area. Doesn't hurt on a regular basis, but I'd say it is more sensitive to heavy pressure. Almost like an underground zit that hasn't emerged yet feels, and not uniformly. Hopefully this will eventually resolve.
I'm a retired RN who worked in various specialties, with critical care and emergency medicine being my favorites as I found myself bored after 4 years of med/surg. I've worked with many different physicians, in many different specialties, including plastic/reconstructive surgeons. Dr. Linkov, you strike me as a doctor who truly cares about your patients, prioritizing safety first, and ensuring good outcomes for them. I'm a longtime lurker who's maybe commented once. You also clearly come across as a good human being, which is the foundation of all that you do. Our hospital had 3 plastic & reconstructive surgeons. We could see the difference between the three and their patients' immediate post-op experiences. Only one out of the three cared about his patients' well-being. They had less pain and significantly better results than those of the other two. I can see this man's results look natural. Had I just met this man at the 10-month post-op time, I would have never been the wiser about his hair. Great job, and he appears to be extremely happy!😊❤
P. S. I enjoy the videos about celebs!
🙏
Dr. Linkov, you’re amazing! If I ever decide to get a procedure done, I don’t want anyone except you to do it! Unfortunately, I’m on the West Coast, but that can be worked around I suppose. Thank you to both of you for showing this incredible transformation! It takes courage for a patient to show their “befores”.
This is TRULY remarkable and impressive! Great Job Dr. Linkov👏👏👏!
Great work! Looks amazing!
Awesome video, doc. Appreciate it!
such a beautiful and natural result
Loving these videos!
great job!
I'm getting mine done, if everything goes to plan, next month! I'm planning to do this as I want to see the whole process when my hair has grown.
I hope everything goes well 👍
Great video
Thanks Dr. Linkov for sharing a real person; much more relatable than a few content creators who showcase people who are extremely good looking before and after. We need more regular Joes (and Janes) in before and after videos like this in my opinion. Excellent work and your patient looks very pleased with the results. Will he go for another transplant?
Thanks. He's not in need of another one for now.
I’m digging that last look of hellyea, confidence. 😉9:30 congratulations bro, glad you were able to do what you’ve been wanting to do for yourself.
It looks amazing!
Congrats. Looks good.
What a satisfying job
Thanks Max and Dr. Linkov! This is really useful!
The main problem I had with my transplant was pimples in the recipient area at 1-2 months. As someone with skin picking disorder, I could not leave those pimples alone, and felt really bad about popping them, afraid that I would ruin my results. But fortunately, it seems like it's growing in nicely now at 3 months. It looks almost exactly like Max' results above at 3 months, which is a big relief.
I had this too
I focust my stress energy un plugging body hair
Jeh the hair from ny knee downwards is a bit thined out 😅 but less nasty scars from skin pickibn
Maybe this helps
Jeh basicly u just chsnge the problem but u focous it on sonething thats less harmfull
LOOKS GREAT
Is Max happy with the result as a one off or will he be coming back for another procedure? You look great Max 😊
Happy with one. We have a longer video about his entire journey with us coming out soon!
Great result and most importanly it looks like untouched donor area, that means if things do not go well in the future , you can handle more surgeries. You are in good hands with Dr. Gary and his team.
It looks great and very natural! Cool to see how it progresses
Wow, looks great! And so natural.
Wow so excellent stunning results - A++ love you doc 👍💕😊
Gorgeous results! It's insane how natural it looks.
Thanks! 🙏
@@drgarylinkov Yw! ☺️
He is still be invisible on dating apps though. I hope he got it done for himself instead of women
Nice results and very natural look. I am collecting braveness to make hair transplant somewhere in September or December
Good on him, he looks more confident. Great job doc
Very nice to see a case of a man that recovered from the initial redness as quickly as I did, back in 2007. (FUE 2600 grafts frontally initially, as had a follow up of 2700 grafts, too.) It's more frequent in women than in men that you see this happen.
I'm still looking at my options to see if I should/should "soften" the widows peak I still have (temples weren't filled in much for me), hence that I look at channels/content like this. Great aesthetically pleasing results from the procedure, as per usual.
I used to watch your videos when I was studying exams in med school , it was A tough time , my hair started to fall out heavily. Thank God Now I have graduated . I look forward to become such an honest doctor as you are , and visit the US to thank you personally someday .
When would it be safe to get a haircut after the hair transplant
When I got some scalp cuts in an accident a few years ago I was surprised at how much they bled, I was covered in blood by the time I got to the ER, despite holding a towel to my head. After the stitching up, I was also surprised at the swelling over the next week or so, which indeed did move in puffy lumps gradually down my head and neck. I suppose on the head, there’s not a lot of room for swelling with the skull there, so the fluid seems to move out to the skin. I think scalp cuts or procedures can look a lot more dramatic and worse than they really are; except for the bloody drama, these cuts were no big deal, didn’t even hurt and went away before the swollen lumps did. The worst part was not being able to shampoo for three days!
This is awesome. Man, I wish good transplants weren't so expensive. :(
Hey Dr! I’m currently in Pa school - I remember a video a bit back of you showing your clinic and introducing your PA. What generally is the role of a PA when it comes to hair transplants? Thanks!
ive ha one almost 4 weeks ago - thhe redness is still quite prominate - whats your experience of when it should go? Is there an remedy which can help? Thank you
Can you make a video regarding slow growers? I’m at 10 months and I still see some new hairs poking through.
Lovely guy, well spoken. That was a good follow up !
Hopefully my drug use is enough for me as I started soon, and I won't have to go under the knife
Damn this made me feel way better. I'm 2 months post op and I dont see much but if my results are half this good in a month or 2 I'll be over the moon
Wish I could afford to get a septo/rhino from you. I feel like you'd do such a great job and care about the results.
When after my hair transplant am I able to get a haircut on my donor area?
Hi, Dr.
I want to go for a HT but my surgeon told me to stop minoxidil 1 month before the intervention. I want to listen to your opinion if possible..
Great video! Is there a website or database to research & find a legitimate (and affordable) place to get a hair transplant. I live in Florida, but am also considering Turkey & I want to make sure I choose the right option!
Is it possible to get jaw, cheekbones, chin implants and rhinoplasty at once?
Since they use hair from the back of the head what happens when the person goes gray? My hair in the back of my head is still dark. In the front it’s salt and pepper to white.
still on Minoxil or similar for life? looks great
It's it possible to get a hair transplant in an area of hairloss caused by discoid lupus? I have a bald area right in the top and front of my hairline and it's terrible as an older young woman. I'd love to get it filled in but am concerned it's not possible due to autoimmune reactions
You’re an artist 👏. How many grafts did get 🤔
2550 FUE
@@drgarylinkov wow. Great result.
I'd be very interested to see the donor area post op.
I like to wear skin fade haircuts. Would the scars and/or lower hair density in the donor area be noticable?
Big question, did he take fin/minox post procedure? What happens with topical fin only?
what did that cost ?
Can you do a video on what post transplant head looks like (after a few years) when u have a clean shaved head? I dont understand why I'm having trouble finding pics of this, since Im afraid of the scarring it will cause on the scalp.
Makes me happy for some reason
Hi Dr. Linkov. I was wondering as it comes to recovering from a HT, not many give advice to scalp redness (that obviously varies from patient to patient). Is there ways to speed up the redness fading? Like would it be okey to use something like 10% azeliac acid or other quality formulated calming and antiinflammatory face serum on the scalp? Or even couple of days of hydrocortisone or something to help. Or some succest 100% aloe vera or some Bepanthen creom or emulsion. Any tips on this matter or should it just rather let it run its course and endure.
*Can a Norwood 6 get 2 FUE hair transplants if they have thick donor supply?*
I’m asking because I’m currently a Norwood 2 at age 24 and considering an FUE hair transplant in the future.
However, I do NOT want to take finasteride because of the side effects.
My maternal grandfather was a Norwood 6 by age 60 so there’s a chance I could eventually reach that level of baldness without being on finasteride.
Hey doc, what’s the longest time you’ve ever seen for someone’s hair to fully grow out? I’m 10 months post op and it still is slowllllyyyy getting thicker and thicker. The only thing I can think of is because I vape, that’s why it’s taken so long? Any advice would be great! Thank you!
I did my hair transplant in my country Brazil, my doc did a amazing JOB, Im happy
Were all the grafts implanted in the hairline area?
I saw have alot videos about transplant. But can u recomend where to go for transplant in turkey by you ? Only recomend
The hairline and shape of the hairline looks awesome. I mean you can’t tell that anything has been done. It grew really natural.
Could you cover a simular situation for women hair transplants? My great grandmother lost all her hair on the forefront of her head. Every generation following has had several females in each family develop the same condition beginning in their 30s- 40s
We have many examples of women’s hair transplants on our gallery at linkovhair.com
Any PRP done within that period or just let it grow?
Well done for the natural looking hairline
COMMENTS PLEASE HELP : )
I've been using finasteride and minoxidil. I see some promising grow on my hair, scalp is very much covered now.
My question is, should I stop using minoxidil and just taking finasteride to hold the hair I have now?
or should I continue using both of them? I know I can't stop taking finasteride, I just don't feel taking medication my whole life. at least reducing long term side effect of minoxidil.
Thank youuu
Can DHT damage the Transplanted hair again?
I did mine both temples and hair line last year would i do it again?? Absolutely yes 🙌 anyone wha ta to do it go and do it you wont regret it.
Cost?
Hi Doc, I'm 3 months into my transplant next week and so far I can see basically no growth atall in the transplant area, is that normal? can it sometimes take longer than 3 months for the growth to start?
It can
6 months is generally what I was told when I had mine with best results after 1 year.
where did you go?
I mean this is helpful but I'd also like to know how many grafts were transplanted. Thanks
2550
@@drgarylinkov appreciate it. your videos are very informative. keep up the good work
How many grafts was that?
Great jod 💪🏻
will u please analyze reba plastic surgery
How much does 1 grapht cost?
Yo Doc. Can you tell me why my beard started exploding in growth in just months? I little to no hair.
I smoked pipe tobacco for a duration of 6 months then my hair just starting growing crazy.
Whats going on? i'm 30 years old and I had a beard growth spike
Great result. Is Max taking finasteride?
Sure is
Hi Doctor, is it possible to take both oral fanisteride and minoxidil together after a transplant?.instead of oral fanisteride and foam minoxidil. Since I wouldn't want to wash my hair daily
Most of our patients do
His hairline is quite high after, and there are clear reasons for doing that. I feel that a high hairline would be more aesthetic with a receded shape, a little bit more natural imo, but a great job in any case 👍
This is so interesting to me as my partner is taking finastride for hair loss currently and I’ve been researching hair transplants just in case it doesn’t work. How much does it cost roughly?
Wow! He looks ten years younger, amazing what reframing the face can do
Maybe two years younger, he still has like a 40-year-old hairline if I saw him on the street I’d be like that dude balding
@@Jacob-nu4nd nonsense statement
No mention of how many grafts were used?
I noticed that he didn't have any plasma treatment sessions after the transplant.
I've had mine done two months ago. My operation also included two plasma treatments that I can do after 2 to 3 months post op. But I'm not sure they're necessary as I was researching that.
My question is: is it necessary to do the plasma treatment? I'm also scared of needles still even after having done the op.. I almost faint everytime :)
where did you go?
can you do is zayn Malik face Natural?
Is Max on Finasteride and Minoxidil?
yes
Does the donor area grow back?
How do you know if you've found a reputable clinic in turkey? I'd love to do it in North America but it's 15kplus!!! Turkey with hotel is under 5k
Stay away from Turkey
@@Mumb3lz I had a great experience in turkey, just do your research
How much $
Yes, I would like to know this too. And how much will the medicine cost per month to maintain or elongate the result?
How many grafts?

Reminds me of grass heads
whats a general approx. range estimate for something like this
2550 for Max.
Please Dr Linkov can you do one of your videos on Paul McCartney over the years whose face has changed so much over the years.. You might be surprised...
Absolutely! That would be great
Oh, just returned from hair transplant myself. Still got some fever, third day
where did you go?
How about finasteride and minoxidil?
He’s on both
how much did you pay ?
21k
Doctor Gary, do you offer any lottery discounts for your hair transplants?
The hair at the back of the head is not sensitive to DHT, but what happens if you transplant these hairs in the front and the hair loss continues? Wouldn’t it be the case that you will be left with hair in the front and back, but without in the middle? 😂 This is my biggest concern about hair transplantation. I would be happy if you could answer.
To prevent that you would take medication to prevent further hair loss. I personally wouldn’t take that medication due to potential side effects
@@Bewareofthewolves I already take these medications (Minoxidil and Finasterid both as a serum with only local effects), but they both only slow the process down and don’t stop it in my case. So that wouldn’t stop the process I wondered above (at least in my case)
@@inveterate_optimist You’d probably have to get multiple transplants then
@@Bewareofthewolves yeah but the numbers of back hair is limited you couldn’t fill the whole head with it. 🫣😂 At least if you don’t want the Homer Simpson’s hair density. 😂
@@inveterate_optimist switch from fin to dut then, better dht suppression.
Considering you talk a lot about taking a medical approach alongside with a hairtransplant and really making sure you get the best result, combining it with minoxidil or finasteride (or both), it would have been nice to know if Max was using any product like that!
He is. We have a full Max journey video coming out soon. Stay tuned.
@@drgarylinkov Thanks for letting me know. Looking forward to it!
This out of the subject of the video but a previous one I'm so dumb I should have took finastride before getting a hair transplant 😔I could have kept the middle section some the most important hairs there was no need to transplant there the hairs where there I jumped to fast i overreacted those hairs I could returned them and thicker even if it was briefly for a last period:( it's better when you can make your own hair thicker again its what finastride does I didn't realize not a good amount might have not been gone at least not the foundation it seems those pieces I think they put transplanted hairs there but my important hairs where there finastride could have made thicker again temporary as long as I take it I just needed on the left I'm so stupid :( I'll see how it comes out now. I thought it was a now or never moment but people don't know how to truly tell about finastride it's why I was still skeptical I didn't realize it could make your hair thicker again not just stop hair loss for the moment you take it
If i smoke 1, 2 cigarettes a day, will that hurt the result? Im a month in now.
Substitute with Marijuana
I doubt it will that much, if you were on 10+ definitely as the nicotine is choking your blood vessels and your hairs need blood supply for growth
I have one question about hair transplants, or rather their future: will hair follicles grown from stem cells one day allow us to plant hairs into the scalp without the need to basically "cut" them out from another part of the head? Cause...y'know...they'd be grown in a lab so we can grow as many as we need to get a natural 100% density back while not compromising the back of the head. This should also make the healing process faster cause you don't have these deep puncture wounds on the back. Maybe they could also invent other tools to make the implantation process easier?
each hair follicle is an individual organ, which is complicated to grow from stem cells. This is why we haven't achieved this yet.
@@raiden72 interesting. I thought it's just the root (like the ACTUAL root) from which then the...uhhh..."upper root" grows (the one you can pull out with waxing etc.) and then the hair obviously.
I guess that's why cut out these relatively large holes on the back of the head that need quite a while to fully heal up again.
