@@tony8338 Donor area (back and sides) - yes, has to be shaven down, but top depends. If treated area will be just receded temples where there's already bald and not required to place grafts in between existing hair, then there's no reason to shave the top. Although I must say from many people I've seen, most of them decides to shave it all down after surgery anyways.

I had my hair transplant 7 months ago and tbh others posting videos of 6months with crazy densities kinda worried me but your video showing monthly results put my mind to rest
The point of this video was not to show all of these aspects, but simply focus on transplanted hair growth. To show how it's grown compared to before. I've done hundreds of videos talking about all aspects of my transplants while being transparent. Look at more videos before judging by 5 min that you've spent here

@@MrRolandas My hair color looks like yours. Maybe thickness should be similar as well. I have diffuse thinning on the similar area as yours. Crown is dense. No receiding hairline. At the beginning I thought It was lack of vitamins because it seems like female pattern, then I realized that's AGA. After 1 year fearing finasteride I decided to give a try. Now I am on finasteride since last August 11 with 0.6mg daily...I believe i am having some results from that...seems like everything with my hair happens very slow. 10 - 20 strands are falling daily. I am Almost 32 years old.
@@lipecanad4 Good for you! I'm glad you hoped on Fin. I knew about Fin for about 5 years before started using it! Imagine how much hair could have been saved! Thin hair isn't great for density, but if person knows what he is doing it's possible to achieve great results. Definitely don't rush into HT especially if you're diffuse thinner as you've got higher chance of shock loss if it's done by amateurs...

@@MrRolandas 2 years is nothing. And in anycase, knowing the number of side effects an how many men have problems with it, you shoudn't advise Fin like that.
My buddy has the same hair loss pattern as you at the very beginning, but not has bad as what you had. It's just very diffuse thinning up front. He thought about a hair transplant but can't afford it so that's why he's using the oral minoxidil and finestride and micro-needling. He's getting results and I say another 6-12 months he'll gain the hair he has lost.
Nice one! Indeed diffuse thinners are generally best responders to medical interventions. Transplants should ALWAYS be a last resort solution to hair loss as it's a permanent surgery. Exhaust all other treatments first
@@MrRolandas He’s committed to a full year of oral minoxidil, finasteride, micro-needling. He started in June of this year, so June of 2022 he’ll evaluate and go from there. He’s not bald or to far gone, he told me he wants the front to be filled in a lot more.

Im gutted too as I started minoxidil... 3 days in had bad vertigo each time even only on once a day it made my tinnitus ( which was not even that bad) noticeably worse. 😢 Waiting for It to subside Think ill have to get myself to Dr Ferreria at some point
Look into rosemary oil instead of minoxidil. A few drops mixed into a carrier oil and you're good to go. That in combo with microneedling/dermarolling...

Some silly beginner questions please: 1) did you do some blood test before to see if your hair loss is stress or androgenic/hormones or something along those lines ? 2) did you have to take Finesteride 6m-12months before the operation ? Or now after ? Some I heard they do that before the operation, some after. 3) Minoxidyl: did you take this before the operation or after ? 4) Nizoral: have you used it ? recommended or so ? 5) is the cost dependent on how good your density is, how good the donor area, how much you need actually to fix your issue ? 6) can the cost be estimated roughly before you even go there ? Thanks man 1. You don't need blood test to identify MPB. It's actually pretty obvious. But always best to get checked with dermatologist if you just started noticing hair loss. 2. Yes, 6 months minimum before my surgery. Better surgeons denied me until I get on Fin to stabilize hair loss and plan accordingly. 3. I used it for 12 months before surgery with microneedling. Great boost, bot not enough to avoid surgery, so I decided to stop it, get all my surgeries and then get back on it to maintain. But I was too far gone, hence why my approach. 4. Yes, once a week. I don't it's such huge big of a deal tbh. 5. the more baldness, the more work needed, the more expensive it will be. My donor is great and i have more than enough to cover fully top. 2nd HT scheduled for June this year. 6. You can ask for price any surgeon beforehand of course. Most are charging per graft. In my case this was 2.5€/graft. Lots of clinics charge per surgery and "whatever they can extract", which can be more cost effective, but usually such places are amateurs at hair transplant and quite often can damage donor and create very bad looking hairlines.

I don't think you need to see endocrinologist, unless you feel like you have some hormonal issues. 2. 6 months. Most places just want you in their chair ASAP. That's how sales work. If you not convince someone to get in in the first few occasions during initial chat, person might go elsewhere, so they would never tell you to get on Fin for 6 months prior. If you contact better places you will see all of them will say the same. Get on Fin BEFORe surgery.

Wow. Am still amazed that transplanted hair follicles become so strong at their new destination. I would do a hair transplant if it wasn't painful since I got a lot of hair in the back, but am starting to be comfortable with how I look and really don't care that much.
I got 1900 grafts done in November2023. It's been six months and it's just now starting to grow. I'm a little worried that it won't be as full as expecting, but I go back August 2024 to get it looked at and to schedule the front hair line. Hopefully it won't be as many grafts the second time. I was there 14 hours and drove 2.5 hours home that night right after getting grafts. OUF!

Transplanted doesn't require finasteride to grow, but your native hair that still can fall off needs it.

Just had my transplant done with 7k grafts implanted (Day 2 today). The difference between day 11 and 13 is quite remarkable.
I've full hair so far, definitely gives me hope that I might never have to deal with baldness😅

One of the best results I’ve seen. They actually gave you a thick hairline in front. I’ve seen many where it still looks like guys are receding.

Wow. Am still amazed that transplanted hair follicles become so strong at their new destination. I would do a hair transplant if it wasn't painful since I got a lot of hair in the back, but am starting to be comfortable with how I look and really don't care that much.
Hair transplants aren't painful at all! In fact, I was sleeping most of the surgery and woke myself up with occasional snore lol!

I got 1900 grafts done in November2023. It's been six months and it's just now starting to grow. I'm a little worried that it won't be as full as expecting, but I go back August 2024 to get it looked at and to schedule the front hair line. Hopefully it won't be as many grafts the second time. I was there 14 hours and drove 2.5 hours home that night right after getting grafts. OUF!
