I've never seen this live version, but if you would like to have a way better feel for this song, you need to see the Download version from '09. It 's way clearer and it's with the original drummer(it has a hidden gem in there that I don't want to give away)!

@@Honigdachs83 I saw Slipknot by end of 2001 and it was one of the worst concerts I've been to (for various reasons) and a few month later they put out the DVD. It was mindblowing... Love it til today. The feeling watching it the first time was amazing :D
@@Honigdachs83 ya i dont know why people keep suggestion 09 download, its literally 1 of the worst sounding concerts ever, does not give slipknot justice, Coreys voice were so bad. slipknot dvd disasterpiece version is the best out there. hell even Dynamo 2000 is better than 09.

Slipknot at download 2013 was my best ever experience live, spit it out was unreal.. the whole crowd of 100k+ jumped up at once, it was surreal

Slipknot fans are called maggots. Also love your reaction to the staple of what makes a Slipknot concert a Slipknot concert, the stage presence they have is unreal and amazing. Slipknot started wearing the masks because of a member in the band called Clown that would always bring a mask to practice so the entire band decided that they would all start wearing masks. Would love to see your reaction to Vermilion Pt 1 and 2.
Seeing them live is an amazing experience, they put on a hell of a show and Corey is super talented

Slipknot came up in the nu metal era (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park) and there are definite hip hop influences in their songs. As a rap fan as well, it is hard not to like these guys or respect them. They easily put on one of the best live shows I have ever witnessed. Pure energy and these guys in this video are now in their 40's/50's... still up there headbanging.
Wacken is the best festival I've ever been to in my life. Nashville to Germany is a long trip but was absolutely worth it.
Germany is a beautiful country as well. The reason the hair is like that is because it's wet. I did the same thing when i was a wrestler. It helps to keep you from overheating.
Worlds largest metal festival, 85 THOUSAND people! The 2024 tickets for Wacken sold out in 4.5 HOURS! Holy hell 😳 I'm a massive Corey Taylor & Slipknot fan and it's been a dream of mine to see them in concert.
What i think is awesome is the original lyrics are "Where you gonna be in the next five years"? And Corey changed it to 23 years when he sang that bcuz that's how old the song is.

I went to Knotfest in Council Bluffs in 2012 and its still the best show I've ever been too. I was about 50 feet away from the stage for the entire show, and Spit it Out was absolutely wild. They also had the crowd sing the intro to Duality in memory of Paul Grey, which was amazing. I've never been a part of crowd that knew the lyrics and gave it their all like that before
I've seen Slipknot multiple times, and it will always be the best concert experiences in my life.
The crowd control Corey has is great and it is just an overall amazing experience.
Had the privilege to jump da fuck up with them twice, once with the full original lineup and then after Joey left. Honestly one of the most fun I’ve had in a crowd and super nice people and London crowds are notoriously harder to excite but it was lit!

Wacken, like other Festivals during the summer, takes place over a weekend. There may be some hotels or stuff like that, but most of the people in the crowd are campers.
The camping places of those festivals are crazy as well, with funny people and partie around almost every corner or tent.
It's maybe kind of like spring-break.......but instead of sun, beach and ocean there is mostly grass, mud and rain.......but once you get kindof used to the conditions you start to love it :D

I'm not sure how it is in the states, but at most UK/European Music Festivals, those attending will be camping on-site. The aerial views of the camp sites are something else!

I've seen Slipknot 8 times this is usually the right in the middle if their set and everytime I've seen them it's towards the end of their tour and they've always brought it. I remeber seeing them when Joey Jordinson had his ankles fucked up and when Sid Wilson broke his heels and was in a wheelchair. They put on an amazing show

Spit It Out is usually tail end of the set, and almost always has an audience participation segment. Check out their live at download version for that. And yea, they’re fuggin wild on stage, always moving and jumping around and running and literally kicking each other’s asses on stage, though there is a lot less of that lately considering their ages.
Yes Wacken is pronounced Vacken.... In german "W" is pronounced as american "V" and "V" is pronounced as american "F"... A VW car is a VolksWagon - or FolksVagon aka Wagon of Folks/the people.... and is pronounced "FV" and not "V-double V" as americans say it...
P.S I am 41 and still spend my summers on metal and music festivals! -been to more then 35 week long festivals in the past two decades and have seen slipknot live 6 times so far. allways a blast... Experiences like that is what fuels me to get through the winter! :D

I may be wrong on the number but it was just over 1 million sooooo... yeah, ROCK 'N' ROLL BABY!!!! Plus, there is another version of this song live where the drummer Joey Jordanson is on a spinning articulated platform that puts him vertically in the air while still playing like a BEAST! i was at Knotfest Los Angeles, they had a fireworks display at the end of the show.

70000 tons of metal is a metal festival on the high seas. It's cool because it's ok festival bad thing is they announce bands then bands don't show but lots of good bands play the festival.

This song you definitely should hear again but the album version. Watch Corey Taylor's "snuff" live acoustic performance though. It's a great contrast to this song and probably everything that you'd expect from slipknot and Corey Taylor at this point.

One really cool thing about metal shows is that the bands change their songs in little ways. play heavier or faster in some parts. Play around with the vocals a bit like Tayler is doing here. TOOL has half their set as songs, but played in a different way.
I was a music student. I got free tickets to concert and I also bought few tickets to multiple other concerts, and I gotta say, the energy from Slipknot is definitely different. Wayyy different. Can't emphasise how good they are and their stage presences are insane. You can even feel Craig energy even tho he rarely visible 😂 and yeah I sleep in my car nearby the place and then I woke up at 3am to sleep at the stair and trust me, there's at least 100 more people who already lining up 😭
I saw them at Wacken (the video they reacted to) and I went to the stage 1 hour before the show, but there were so many already I stood in the middle. But after 2 songs, a mosh pit and a wall of death I managed to be in the front quarter xD

His other band is called " Stone Sour" , " Through the glass " was a song worth reacting too but as for another Slipknot song " Wait and Bleed " is amazing and you would definately get some serious veiws on that song and I beleive it would pull you right in . Do more slipknot g they are big. Rammstein Slipknot Korn all 3 are legends in the scene and they are elite. You get mad support for this kind off stuff as a hipphopp artist because people love seeing first reactions to og stuff from another perspective
You did the wrong video!!! Redo the reaction with the download 2009, to get the full effect because in this video you don't even get to see what they do with the drummer, though from what I can tell it didn't even look like they did it in this video, but the drums go up about 10 feet in the air and invert, so you get a top down view of the drumkit and then it rotates 180 degrees while you have the top down view it's wild. If you guys ever see an opportunity to see slipknot live do NOT miss the opportunity, I have seen them somewhere around 8 times now, and my god it is always up at the top of my must see shows live.
Last time I saw them was Knotfest in Iowa, 2022, and my favorite part was when Mick Thompson comes out with a flame thrower attached to his guitar and he's shredding as flames are flying...amazing.
One of the best shows ever and I went to one in the beginning of their career were they started the get down part. Best mosh pit of my life!!!! Rip Joey!

Hey P you know who you might want to check out is a group of young kids like 6yrs old to 14 yrs old covering a Tool song 46&2 .. Its the O'keefe Music Foundation Kids cover Tools 46&2! Its Insane how talented these freakin kids are man! Think about school xmas shows we use to have to do for our parents and yea we were cute and entertaining for them but imagine if we sounded like a professional band in elementary school .. Thats what these kids are... Gave me goosebumps listening to them!

Some performances wh3re you don't want fluffy hair everywhere you would comb hair resin, conditioner etc into the hair to make it slick and stick together on purpose

I think a decent one for hearing his actual singing voice and one of my favorites is vermillion part 2. All of the vermillion's are great but he gets softer on part 2 and it sounds beautiful to me.
