Slipknot- The Negative One. Fire! I love the drumming in that one and the video is wild. If you wanna venture out you two should check out Mushroomhead- QWERTY. Their masks are absolutely insane.
I seen them live for the first time at Darien Lake and I tell you man, I’ve never seen a better show than Slipknot. My neck hurt for 3 weeks afterwards.
Glad you liked it. You should check out Corey Taylor performing the same song live and acoustic in London, to get an idea of his versatility and his humor. There's also a shower clip where he talks about what happend at Astroworld at a Slipknot show, that you might find interesting. Greetings from Germany
You need to check out everything you can from their professionally shot concert in London 2002 from their Disasterpieces DVD. Them in their prime going as hard as they can.
You gotta go see these dudes live bro. I've seen them 4 times and it's amazing everytime. I live in Cincinnati you wanna go next time they come around let me know ill be glad to take yall.
RIP Joey 🙏 you're soooo loved and missed.MUCH LOVE, BRANDI MODRAK. ❤ and one of the best drummers of all time I'm sorry you had to go to THE ROCK 🤘 ROLL HEAVEN SO SOON, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I've been going to see them for well over 20 years now. I'll never miss them when they come through. I recently drove 1000 miles to see them in their home Iowa. My wife went with me to her first Slipknot concert and loved it. They're crazy entertaining!
Normally when it’s blurred out, I immediately watch something else but y’all’s reactions are very genuine so I’m sticking with you 2. I’m here for y’all’s reactions, lol not mine. Cheers from Texas!!
I've seen these guys live 10 times. Sitting around watching videos like this is one thing, but it's NOTHING compared to being there. Whenever they come to your area next, definitely go see them for yourselves!!
I was blessed to experience the classic 9 line-up of Slipknot in concert a few times 🔥🤘 Tragically, we lost bassist Paul Gray (#2) in 2010... drummer Joey Jordison (#1) was fired in 2013, and passed away in 2020... percussionist/backing vocalist Chris Fehn (#3) was fired recently... So we have 6 of 9 members of this line-up of Slipknot today... Corey Taylor (vocals), Jim Root & Mick Thompson (guitars), Shawn 'Clown' Crahan (percussion/backing vocals), DJ Sid Wilson (turntables) & Craig '133' Jones (keys/samples)... new members are Jay Weinberg (drums), Alessandro Venturella (bass) & 'Tortilla man' on percussion/backing vocals.
Yo the smiles on both of your faces is infectious as hell. As a Maggot I fucking love to see it. Yall are great man, keep up the grind and hard work. Happy Holidays to yall and everyone in the comments.
Best thing about this show was seeing Chris Cornell then Slipknot played immediately after. RIP Chris Cornell, RIP Paul Gray & RIP Joey Jordison. I love reaction videos to Download 2009 cause it was the best one.
Was there for this festival. It was as fun and intense as it always is. Download is at the historic Castle Donington race track and is the home of metal festivals being the home of the famous Monsters of Rock metal festival. My dad first took me to the festival when I was 5 years old and my mum was pregnant with me at the festival 5 years earlier, so I guess heavy metal is in my DNA. I am lucky to live a 30 min drive from this festival so am able to go every year. Also means I don't have too far to travel to the other main Metal festival in the UK called Bloodstock festival. The Midlands in the UK is the birthplace of Heavy Metal, something we heavy metal fans from the Midlands and the UK are very proud of. If you ever get the opportunity to attend either of the two festivals mentioned, I promise you wont be disappointed. My family loved our yearly mini vacation to Download, although personally I prefer the more heavy metal line up of Bloodstock recently but I still love both. If I could afford to go to both I would but this year its Bloodstock because they have Behemoth and my favourite group of all time lamb of god as two of the headliners. Keep up the great reactions and if you haven't reacted to lamb of God could I suggest you react to Ruin, Walk with me in Hell, 512, Omerta, Fake Messiah or any other of their amazing discography. Thanks
You two should check out Joey Jordison's drum solo. Its on that lift like you saw in this live clip and its amazing. Joey was a true legend RIP to Joey J!!
My first big show was years ago where slipknot was the headliner. They played with motor head, anthrax, slayer, etc... but man, every person I came across was cool as hell! Short aside, I am glad I got to witness the original lineup..shortly before Paul died, and before Joey couldn't play. Dad times.
The first drummer doing like this is Tommy Lee from motley crue..back at 80' or 90's ..i don't remember..he was doing up side down back in his drum set..
I love your shirt!! I just saw Korn in September and they were incredible! Tommy Lee from Motley Crue had a crazy rollercoaster drum set! He is not even close to having the same skills as Joey Jordinson but it's really cool to watch.
3:48 "Fuck it I'm all out of enemies" if you where wondering what the crowd was saying. :) Oh and Tommy Lee, drummer from Motley Crue did the spinning drums too, back in the 80's or 90's
Apparently the first drummer to go upside down was Mick Mars in 1975, bit i’m pretty sure Tommy Lee from the band Mötley Crüe is the one that made it famous.
@@JStoesz09 well mick is one of the people that came up with it. but tommy lee made it famous. For some reason i was under the impression he was the first to try it. Not a big motley crew fan it was just something i knew tommy lee did before slip knot.
Joey isn't the first drummer to do that stuff. Drummers were doing that stuff in the 80s and 90s. Completely rotating upside down, moving the drum cage out over the audience, etc.
They have different ppl that make theirs but some use the guy that makes the Leatherface, Krueger, other horror Legends masks for movies. They're legit bro. I seen them at ozzfest 2004 they're amazing and a must see. So much love and energy. Us maggots are a unique and close fan base. Welcome guys to the family
omg I watched between 5-10 reaction vids of yours before this one and was loving them. But I was actually at this concert, first time they headlined main stage and they went all in hard. One of my fav live bands i seen and this one specially was up there. I was drunk as hell with a clown mask on and in mosh pits, so much body heat it was hard to breath lol
