Aba's screenshot says 10k because he took Destiny's donation and photoshopped it with his and FD's names He says he didn't donate anything, he just wanted to see FD lose his mind.
I'm black and I used to watch FD for his media breakdowns on black films but once the full on political commentary started he became unbearable. And I noticed that fully in his video about conservatives and where they go wrong with how to pick up women. This video made me realize a pattern of just complaining about the state of a situation and ridiculing methods used to navigate the situation while giving no advice from his own point of view. He literally said that the left doesn't have anyone that can guide men through their struggles because they don't have anything definitive they can say or tell them to do the way that manosphere conservative types can. Eventually you can't just sit dormant and complain about something wrong because you'll only get past it with real action. And I can't stand listening to a guy like FD who was already middle class to begin with and is now more wealthy than doctors through UA-cam trying to tell common African Americans who are in poor neighborhoods to do things like not become extremely wealthy to uplift your community because "black capitalism isn't the answer". All of FD's videos boil down to "this isn't the answer and I know what is the answer but I won't say it because I'm too intelligent to share it".
Basically summarised my issue with his channel as a black viewer myself I was drawn into his channel through some of his older videos specifically his video on Mike Tyson it was a great watch and it came before he started doing all of his political nonsense. I'm not gonna lie though I was drawn into his political content when he started making it that's what got me into my breadtube phase I'm glad it passed. I'm no longer a huge fan of breadtube in fact I find most of them insufferable.
Black capitalism isn’t going to save the black community as a whole. Atlanta is a prime example. I think FD says a lot of dumb things. I think he needs to stick to talking about black historical events and essays about certain individuals.
I found FD's channel last year and also enjoyed his videos especially about Black entertainers and movies. Even when he disagreed with some content (e.g. Buck Breaking) he would still attempt to be considerate and compassionate towards the creators. Last year, I NEVER wouuld have thought he would interact with other content creators-regardless of race- in this aggressive and condescending manner. Still I don't mind him going more political. But I find his views to be shallow and unsubstantiated.
I think the main problem with people like fd is he doesn't understand that even though you can know what situation you're in and what unfortunate predicament you are in but it won't matter if you're unwilling to actually try to better your situation and try to improve on your life personally.
@@OldWizard. I guess when you've never read a book in your life and you're sure that women aren't interested in you bc of something wrong with them (as opposed to how greasy, gooey, and boring you are), I'm sure this channel is lovely entertainment

I think fd makes a lot of good points/observations on how we as a people have evolved/gotten to the point where we are now but yes…he plays too much into us being victimized without any real solution.
Fiq is just so fucking weird. He's incredibly arrogant, and most of his "analysis" is just him saying shit and then providing no evidence or reasoning for it. And he really really hates interracial couples where one member is black and the other member is of another race.
Out of all of the political activists and commentators, killer Mike is one of the only humble and level headed people that’ll actually give clear solutions to this generation rather than doing a juggling act of acting like a messiah while trying to be “#relatable” to an audience. I’ve got mad respect for the guy, and his music is fire also
Killer Mike is someone I rarely see other leftists involve themselves with because he is the type of guy who hates talking about shit on paper and instead fighting with and against people who politically disagree with him. It takes nothing to cater to a base that you have programmed into being sycophant's
A golden tell of someone being a bullshit artist is gatekeeping self improvement "Nooo don't improve yourself you need to continue to buy into my defeatist doomsday cult so you can prop up my existence"
The fact that black people can't see this guy is a clear grifter is why I realized years ago not all of us can be saved. Black people are such a minority in the U.S at this point that quite literally all of us could rise from poverty simply following Killer Mike's advice.
I think people have a hard time taking in new contradictory information if you live in an area in which everyone thinks in one way and schools has failed in turning a large part of the residents into critical thinking individuals. It's an evil perpetual circle of lazy victimhood. I'm not even American so I really don't know sh*t 😂, but what do you think about my theory?
@@Ewil.Bluetooth While FD Signifier definitely uses a common feeling of being down trodden to relate to the black community "lazy victimhood" is a wild description. As a black man F.D. and the black sociology ideology doesn’t help. It’s the idea of relying on other responsibilities to help us. This hasn’t changed the status of black culture and black economics in the past hundred years. At least Vaush doesn't willfully misinterpret other people's arguements like FD Signifier constantly does. Also, Vaush will have debates with pretty much anyone and isn't a coward like FD.
As a black man who’s family originated from the rural south, who’s parents grew up in the ghetto of Chicago/suburban Chicagoland and moved out to the suburbs for me to get a better education and life, people like F.D. 100% hold black people back. Billions if not trillions have been spent trying to “help” black people and we’re worse off now economically, socially, politically and education wise than we were when my grandparents were my age. The fact that Africans and Caribbean immigrants come to America and make more money and are better educated than native born black folks says everything. People coming from war torn countries and getting PhDs meanwhile Ray Ray and Shaniqua can’t even graduate high school. I know black people are capable of greatness because I see it in my family all the time. Firefighters, IT/Cyber Security personnel, doctors and so on. But 90% of black people have this massive inferiority/victim complex and are going to vote for the same people who’ve been feeding us lies for decades. It’s ALWAYS someone else at fault for why the black community is the way it is and we can never do an reflection. It’s honestly why I have no hope for our community getting any better because any black person who points these things out is automatically a coon or some other epithet. Idiots like F.D. Annoy me to no end but the majority of black people think like him. But he’s “educated” so he can cry about why the white man is keeping him down a bit more eloquently.
i’m white and have lived my whole life in majority black areas of the south and i can attest for sure i’ve had black friends in discussions complain about what the white man does etc etc, and i always point out that we live in the same neighborhood, cook the same food, talk and act the same way, and believe in the same god. so much like you said has been spent on feeding black people the idea that white people are the reason they aren’t doing well and that there’s nothing y’all can do about it. the real enemy isn’t white people for blacks and black people for whites. it’s the government and other operatives that have a vested interest in keeping us hating each other. we’re no different from each other, we’re all americans.
The people that come from those places…who become more educated are not the average citizens of those countries? They’re mostly being funded by their families to be able to come here and go to school here. I hear this talking spouted all the time by people who have probably never even talked to Africans or Caribbeans let alone been to an undergrad or graduate program. It’s like pointed out all the millionaires and billionaires that are in American and then assuming that most Americans must be rich. Trillions have not been spent on black people, publicly-funded programs were never just for black people…even things like Affirmative Action weren’t just for black people. I don’t like F.D Signifier either, but the whole “Africans and Caribbeans do just fine here” is a factoid based on poorly understood observations, they don’t do better here just because they work harder they generally do better because they’re better funded by their own families. The two groups who hold more degrees in this country are white women AND African-American women. So there are more factors at play than “LOL lazy black”. Bot talking points. Also majority of black peoples don’t think like him, you don’t know majority of black people. He doesn’t speak for black people, African Ph.D holders aren’t representative of all Africans.
@@PKM9107 Enlighten me then. What was I wrong about? Because I know for a fact you don’t know the opinions of most black people. If you know better then show me? I’m open to being proven wrong. If you can show me: 1. Most black people have the same opinion F.D has 2. That educated Africans in the U.S are representative of the entire continent of Africans in terms of education and opportunity. 3. That educated Carribean people in the U.S are representative of all Carribeans in terms of opportunities and education. Show me how I’m wrong. Show me some stats that go against what I said. What I’m standing on is anecdotal evidence from African and Caribbean colleagues and fellow students, but if you have some hard empirical evidence from a peer reviewed study to prove me wrong then I’m ready to accept it. Because you also said a lot of nothing.
I have yet to see a more incongruent commentator. In his video on black conservatives he shit on Booker T Washington and Marcus Garvey's belief in capitalism as a means of African Americans achieving economic freedom, and in the same video took the time to hawk his merch to viewers.
@albonyo FD's point was that liberation for African Americans as a whole can not come to fruition through capitalism, not that a few black people cannot achieve relative economic freedom inside of a capitalistic system. Also, mf needs to earn money to live, him selling merch doesn't contradict his point at all. This also aplies to @Primatologie and his comment.
@@snek976 I will never grasp how anti-capitalists see money and wealth as this great controller, but simultaneously hold the view that minorities, even ones that are actively discriminated against, cannot be and create change with their own wealth. It is so incredibly contradictory on its face.
@@bbbbbbb51 People with great wealth have a lot of influence, they just don't use it to systematically change a whole lot for minorities. Even with your first point, this could be explained (even though I don't agree with it fully). Wealth incentivses the accumulation of more wealth, that's the way it controlles things. The people that have gotten rich therefore won't really invest to change the system. In this case, people with a lot of wealth have a lot of control, but the wealth, in combination with the system, also have considerable influence in their interests. A bit abstract, but I hope you get the idea. There a probably more educated people who could give a better explanation. Try to fully understand a point before saying that it is contradictory.
[For context I’m a British Citizen with Nigerian descent.] It’s super interesting to see the levels of self-victimisation amongst Black Americans and the incessant need for hands outs to solve problems; there never any sense of personal responsibility or initiative to be taken for the betterment of their society/quality of life. The principles of the first clip is quite literally the solution to a major of problems in the world irrespective of race but when you’ve cultivated an environment with always portrays yourself as lesser and a minority, it clearly warps your perception. At no point in my life have I ever felt like a “minority” I genuinely find that term cringey. It seems like this socio-political war is really emphasised in the US and have imbedded it’s was to my hearts for the people, creating a playground/ marketplace atmosphere. What Killer Mike says in the first clip is something that has already been and has always been discussed within the Black American community for years… however the root of the majority of the problems facing the Black American community are systemic that are rooted in history, thus needing government intervention. The issue is, people like to conflate intervention as “hand-outs”. Don’t be dense

I come in peace to say that, this video gave us one dimension of F.D signifier, imagine someone only captures subsections of your worst moments. Being more critical of your circumstances couldn't hurt, F.D. gives long form content that may not always have the easy solution, but i would argue...such is life. Don't take anything at face value even F.D encourages that. This videos is an 11:00 derogatory clip, at some point it makes me question the creator in not putting more work into deconstructing the content he disagrees with as he should but rather slanders F.D Signifier. This video has elements of creating propaganda, whether it is done intentionally or unintentionally. No one is perfect. Think for yourself, bless whoever reads this.
Your problem isn't with F.D Signifier. He is using a whole library of knowledge, studies and modern day basic education theories to make his points. He doesn't go to details because it would be a huge lot, just like someone giving a conference rarely goes into basic literature when he is talking about complex problems. At the end of the conference you can make questions, or try to talk to the expert if you want and talk about those details that you need to fully understand his points, but that's just prove that you are way behind to assist that conference. You are not the target demographic. In youtube you can't choose your target demographic. Signifier tells you who is his target demographic in most of his videos, if you pay enough attention. I am not saying that you or his detractors lack education. I say that you are probably not educated the right way to understand his points. But he is very rarely wrong and even when he says that something is his opinion, it rarely is. It's usually the most logical or immediate consequence of the information he puts over the able. The problems of black people are not related to lack of effort, PERIOD. It's infuriating that this point is brought out because it shows complete lack of empathy, understanding and will to understand. It supposes an inferiority, on the other part, it's a form of very hard discrimination, used to transform the victims into their own oppressors in the eyes of the public so those in power don't have to do anything. Because it's the fault of those that are being oppressed. Just put more effort. That's a very racist take in this context.
@Alfonso88279 This gate keeps of intellectual empathy; it requires a cause for stance on the bearer of moral purity; it doesn’t acknowledge the nuances that bring people to be well informed; we are human beings, right, so why not show some curtsy dammit?
@@thedarkmasterthedarkmaster That's ignorance talking. You haven't read anything, you have not worked in the social field, you haven't reached out of your social area of comfort, so everybody who did is a pseudo intellectual. Because intellectuals would agree with you, right? Right.
I like how in every clip you've shown of FD you cut the parts that invalidate your talking points. In the first clip, immediately after the "I already tell y'all the solutions" he lists solutions. When he mentions the focus on structural issues, right before that he speaks on how in community with people who already know about structural issues they talk about more immediate issues and how focusing on systemic issues in day to day life is impractical. The reason for talking about structural issues is because that's the one issue that most people are unaware of.
He says "I tell you solutions all the time... I don't have to tell you that...", then addresses a superchat and talks about how Atlanta has black wealth (in his cut of the livestream, the full stream is behind a paywall [if he even put it on his Patreon, I don't see it.]) Identifying a problem isn't offering a solution. Killer Mike's advice is actually applicable and practical. FD Signifier says that structural issues don't have representation in media, which is an absolutely wild claim, especially coming from him.

Some of y’all are the definition of “Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.”
Imagine starting a comment with "I'm black and" and then being praised by a channel full of people who think they hate identity politics.
I think the main problem with people like fd is he doesn't understand that even though you can know what situation you're in and what unfortunate predicament you are in but it won't matter if you're unwilling to actually try to better your situation and try to improve on your life personally.
The funny part is, Aba predicted and knew how FD will react and completely made a joke of him by that fake donation.

But he’s “educated” so he can cry about why the white man is keeping him down a bit more eloquently.
i’m white and have lived my whole life in majority black areas of the south and i can attest for sure
i’ve had black friends in discussions complain about what the white man does etc etc, and i always point out that we live in the same neighborhood, cook the same food, talk and act the same way, and believe in the same god.
so much like you said has been spent on feeding black people the idea that white people are the reason they aren’t doing well and that there’s nothing y’all can do about it.
the real enemy isn’t white people for blacks and black people for whites. it’s the government and other operatives that have a vested interest in keeping us hating each other. we’re no different from each other, we’re all americans.

2. That educated Africans in the U.S are representative of the entire continent of Africans in terms of education and opportunity.
3. That educated Carribean people in the U.S are representative of all Carribeans in terms of opportunities and education.
Show me how I’m wrong. Show me some stats that go against what I said. Let alone make a UA-cam video which in itself earns him revenue. And mind you, for some reason he's on Nebula, I think, along with Foreign. 🙄
@@snek976 It is contradictory
0:56 That's good advice. Just singling this out for anyone who wants to see this part with Killer Mike.
Hopefully in the next years it doesn’t degenerate further.
But if you don’t read; I think this is a good video 😂🤝🏾
You are spot on imo. It's quite strange that something so easy and rudimentary can be so hard to grasp for some people.
I do see this victim mentality and "give me some free sh*t" moaning only increase in the "white" European countries as well.

Real talk I genuinely dont understand the point of this video, and the comment section genuinely concerns me.
🗣️🔥🔥🔥
It’s an echo chamber
That's a very racist take in this context.
his target demographic is pseudointellectuals
@Alfonso88279 This gate keeps of intellectual empathy; it requires a cause for stance on the bearer of moral purity; it doesn’t acknowledge the nuances that bring people to be well informed; we are human beings, right, so why not show some curtsy dammit?
@@thedarkmasterthedarkmaster That's ignorance talking. You haven't read anything, you have not worked in the social field, you haven't reached out of your social area of comfort, so everybody who did is a pseudo intellectual. Because intellectuals would agree with you, right? Right.
@@Alfonso88279 I have actually read a great deal it's strange you assume otherwise
@@Alfonso88279 Sorrt but F.D is wrong in most things.
Fd signifier is a perpetual victim always blaming someone
@@GlitchPoachers he also said when you add up the math it doesn't work out because blk ppl are a small percentage of the population you forget to consider this in your analysis
Hilarious that you wrote this comment, got replied to and shown to be wrong and or disingenuous, and you just dip lmaooooo
@@vietnamsemonky4082 dog, I have a full-time job,vand am in grad school. I don't live on the internet
FD Signifier is just the male version of Amanda Seales. The type to use terms like “teachable moment”, because they are ALWAYS RIGHT, even if is a question with no true correct answers; just different trade-offs for different decisions. Ooops I accidentally sounded like Thomas Sowell, the born into the Jim Crow South, Harlem raised with relatives as both parents were dead by the age of six; and yet still made it to Harvard and University of Chicago, and then produced a PROLIFIC amount of writing, both Academic and for public consumption. But Sowell is not a Marxist and promotes personal responsibility so Mr. Signifier has pulled Sowell’s black card. If only Sowell viewed the world like Marx, a 19th Century, racist, born-rich ne'er do well, he would truly understand the BLACK STRUGGLE like FD. Need to lean on the views and writings of someone whose ideas have led to the death of millions and been constantly proven to be completely ineffective……… to be truly BLACK like Mr. Signifier.
Destiny is more nuanced than many other content creators. It’s a damn shame he’s in an open relationship though. Reminds me of idubbbz
Eh, he is one of my more favorite “online personalities” because of how nuanced he is. But he definitely gets super triggered when someone corrects him on something he is factually wrong on lol. But you can’t expect people to know everything.
Hes a super cringey debate me bro. His positions aren't nuanced. He just has low quality interactions with low quality people that make him appear complex.
@@hardbrocklife yeah compared to trashy brain dead online people he seems nuanced. Talking to regular people in real life he’s not too different aside from the debate cringe
Destiny still sucks
Are you bringing to my attention evidence of F.D. contradicting himself and being a disingenuous hack? No way!
It's almost like this platform is filled with these kinds of people.
But seriously, I don't know why anyone would _regularly_ watch somebody to tell them what to think about someone else. This applies to you and your audience too y'know.
Still, I'd pick your content over F.D. if this is a competition. His _recent_ videos have been popping up on my feed and I find them to be very shallow.

Bro… omgosh bro, lol
Im only 4 min in (and 22 seconds and paused) i cant even hate!!! I LOVE YOUR TAKE AND VIEWPOINT!!! I LOVE FD and im forever gonna be his supporter but you make SOLID POINTS, I’ve actually said similar things about FD and every other f***ing UA-camr (not publicly on any platforms saying it but while watching)
Not to say FD is wrong in any points he makes on the matter but yeah it can be over exaggerated but I believe the thing that’s MOST over exaggerated is how much african american people can actually succeed and be successful and live a life they truly want while in America. America was never meant for African people to thrive. You have SOME WHO DO but believing all of us have a chance, let alone THAT chance, is a lie. Even if we were to help our own to the extremist point of nepotism, America has made sure it’s been destroyed in the end.
I will say it is not just african americans who are poor but what I will point out is that America’s WHOLE INTENT was to divide and conquer the whole world and the civilians within it. Follow me on this to the next comment just real quick
How does america steal this land from natives, coming from the europe continent
Steal africans from their land along with gold
Have gold back up the dollar
Free African slaves under emancipation and force them to work for a low wage just to survive
Allow all immigrants/“aliens” from every continent on earth to come to this country and obtain no debt but grants and business ownership opportunities
All while african americans have been segregated to live amongst redneck white folk
Make the whole american nation believe that african culture is ‘ghetto’ and ‘unprofessional’, all while the african culture was being diluted by being mixed with redneck culture, that could’ve derived from the west indies, and then being used to exploit and commodify the “african american experience”
Forcing all americans, not just african americans, to work for the lowest “minimum wage” to afford reasonable living, when it’s never been able to afford it, ever since ‘minimum wage’ was a thing
Teaching us, not how to survive and find yourself, in school but teach you about the use of a dollar for free, just to charge you thousands of dollars for actual knowledge that’s so useful, it leads to certificates degrees and careers
Just to trick all people of all color, including white, to believe america is the land of the free and that ‘white people’ are the devil (when we all started from a black man and woman and then ‘race’, as in colored skin, was a term coined later on, within human existence, created to divide the people from themselves within their own home nation
Using propoganda to make the us dollar seem like it was key to having freedom by having it backed by gold (now backed by the military as of today) when america (and its civilians) is a country forever in debt with the federal reserve (not the same thing as the american government)
And steal everything from africa’s continent just to put it in europe’s (making europe/paris seem like paradise and africa like wild hell)
And have all generations from those immigrants that migrated over to the States from those other continents, become victim within some world war they had no control in starting, in the end??
Exaggeration much?? Yeah i guess, but is it true?? Bro, look it up lol (not the very last part about war, that’s what they may be planning if The Pact Of Continuation Of Colonialization doesnt pan out the way they want)
But This, Is True Divide And Conquer Tactics In Its True Nature. Look at it!!!
I could mention a whole lot more OF COURSE
But that, OF COURSE, was just the gist of the actual problem for african american people.
As african people within america, being ‘conservative politically’ is basically a “Get Out” mindset to the african american who “escaped the matrix” aka the white male hierarchy american belief system.
(That could possibly be a shared belief between North America and Europe, maybe I don’t know i dont live there lol)
Can I Be Wrong?? Yes!!! African Americans all have diff problems, like humans in general. But if you ask me, which no one did, America is our only problem, as far as African people go.
Everyone else, y’all living your own ethnic american experience, so speaking for y’all is disrespectful and so blindly one-sided, i probably really wouldnt know wtf i’d be talking about
Watched the whole video…
Bro lmao id just say dont be so judgemental and be careful who you decide to try and ish on. People are allowed to grow and change and have through all of time. The whole aba and destiny ish is a WHOLE NOTHER THING and in my opinion, those men are all in their feelings, way too financially well off to be worried about controversial issues that dont effect them too much because they can move around on another level, and need to honestly stay off social media besides UA-cam to do their ‘job’. Not as in (shut up and dribble, type ish) but to understand that they are REAL ISSUES that AFFECT REAL PEOPLE that are probably watching ALL YALL VIDEOS (Including you Glitch)
I dont like it when people ish on others as if they better, and honestly i didnt hear you mention any thing better to what FD is saying, just really pointing out his hypocrisies. I will tell you right now, FD aint perfect and he aint tryna be. But for what he TRULY believes in, his intent is in the right place. And I believe that. Same with you bro but im here to just say, chiiiiiillll dog (Lil Yachty voice)
I AM A NOBODY who may be someone later… I don’t know yet lol its really on yall but anywho, please please por favor remain diligent in who you hold accountable for themselves because someone is ALWAYS WATCHING EVERY THING YOU DO as well. Now again, i agree with you but at some point, its important to hold yourself accountable just as much, and talk about it
What have you done lately for the world, let alone an african american person?? I don’t know you and i aint tryna hold you to nothing, just pointing out another perspective because again,
I Am A Nobody Just Like Anyone Else Ever.
You can call people out, but dont pick and choose with it. Like with Trump and Obama.
And dont bring anybody else into your disposition either, it ‘CAN’ make them look bad too
But lol, hey… what do I know right
Ironically, #StopCopCity is a good cause.
How?
Hey guys let's complain about cops being undertrained but then protest against building a training facility that's also gonna train firefighters
#stopcopcity is a great and important cause. America spends more on its police forces than most countries spend on their military. Its disgusting. FD is fighting the good fight and has good takes
@@windowbridge damn it's like USA is 10x bigger than those countries and needs an adequate police force to uphold the law
@@topgeorge6908
The facility serves to further militarize the police, not just train them. Its a full on CQC military style training facility. It is going to be majority private funded, with little to no accountability or transparency to the public.
There is a whole website dedicated to it that goes way more in depth than I will in a UA-cam comment. stopcop.city/what-is-cop-city/
The police shot a guy who was living in the tree to stop the project, and declared the other hippies who were protesting with them as terrorists. There is a gofundme set up for the family of the victim, as well as a whole page on the stopcop.city website.

bruh it really aint that hard to be successful in life if you just apply yourself at least in WEstern society.
1. Finish School and apply yourself in highshcool.
2. Go to College and take STEM, Law or Medicine as your career path

4. if you finish Medical schoo/Law school now you get hire as an intern
