UA-cam, and social media in general, has made people think their opinion matters, and that it's the most important.
They appeal to 14 year olds that eat up everything these 'influencers' say, and then repeat it like parrots. They think sitting in your room all day consuming content like this makes you smart. When in reality it's all brainwashing.
I love this culture, I just love it, what wonderful culture we have formed here. I used to think the Internet would make people smarter, but, all it did was take humanity's stupidity, then amplified it by ten by spreading these ideas at light speed pace.

Sexual conflict is a terrible way to arrange politics, and you notice feminism has this completely anachronistic victim mentality. The reason why women couldn't just do whatever they wanted in the past was because the home economy was a full time job. Patriarchy and controlling female sexuality was also about getting them the best matches and preventing them from being exploited because fathers, other male and female relatives, actually cared about young women's welfare

There's also another part to it, see there's a funny thing among some feminist historians. You 'll see them pick a time in history and then after researching talk about how women in this place or in this time has a "surprising amount of freedoms compared to other places/times" the fact is a lot of people don't realize that women had more freedom for most of history than we think obviously thus varied by time period and culture but in general ancient women weren't completely restricted, there were places and periods that were more restrictive than others but for example during the middle ages women could be medics/doctors. Now were there a massive amount of women in this role? Certainly not but King Louis IX had a female doctor, during that time all you need was someone willing to apprentice you. As another example Spartan women had large amount of economic and political influence now Spartan women were certainly exceptional for their time but women in most parts of Greece were more free than people realize.
Also while women did tend to stay home, it wasn't uncommon at least in the middle ages onward for single women to have some sort of work if they were of a certain age and even married women may make and sell things she made at home or help out with her husband's business if she could. Part of this misunderstanding simply comes from ignorance of history and people wanting to think that feminism and the modern age is the only thing keeping women from oppression. Another part of it however is due to the fact that the early modern age leading into modernity ironically was more restrictive than much of history. I already went into this long rant so I won't say more unless anyone is curious enough to want more.

It's important to remember that men and women are different, not opposite. Men confuse this, and think that to be a man is to not be a woman, to banish feminity completely. I see them as nothing more than reactions to Feminists that see Femininity as everything that Masculinity supposedly is not.
They are two strings of the same instrument, meant to be played in chords with one another. Some notes even overlap or even harmonize.
I'm glad someone is talking about this from a non partisan perspective. I used to consider myself aligned with "Red Pill," or just very opposed to feminism and believed allot in empowering men. Masculinity should be traits of virtue.
There must never be a term such as toxic masculinity, for that is the equivalent of calling divinity as pedophilic divinity.
Masculinity is sacred and divine for it represents not man as he is but man as he should aspire to be.
Putting toxic next to it is shaming of that, by attributing evil to that aspiration and thus the idea itself.
Toxic masculinity doesn't exist, only toxicity does for it is not masculine, it is weakness.

"pedophilic divinity" what is wrong with you? really. but no, masculinity exists as an idea in society and not just your head. and unfortunately aspects under that societal label like having no avenues for complex emotional expression or genuine male-for-male support networks is bad and detracts from our living standards. calling those aspects out isnt causing them.

    • @necrosteel5013
      @necrosteel5013 9 місяців тому +1

@@CPSPD those lack of avenues is caused by feminists and the degeneracy of modern culture. Toxic masculinity is a slur that recontextualizes the symptoms expressed by a lack of virtue and of humanity current society encourages to breed weakness.
we also see different symptoms with women, caused by the exact same conditions and traits. Society is the culmination of individual people, nothing more. A social culture is merely the lowest common denominator of problems.
It was never masculine, it is a lie which feminists deploy to deface masculinity, just like piss Christ. The real root of what soo called "toxic masculinity" Is arrogance, mindlessness, disrespect, Narcissism, dishonesty and deceitful posturing.
Look at all the traits of toxic masculinity that are actually bad and you will see these exact traits. None of these are limited to men, because women are just as bad but people like you will never bother to acknowledge that. What is female culture these days?
      It's:
Materialism, gotta get a lot of money with a high paying job, No real reason as to why seek more wealth, just do it.
Promote acceptance and practicing of debauchery even with children. (LGBT+)
Gaslight men into believing they are monsters for basically anything.
Liked or was indifferent to seeing a girl's panties for split second?
      YOU ARE A RAPIST
      Killed a prostitute in GTA?
MEN ARE WANKING ON DEAD WOMEN FOR FUN.
      Etc,...
Gaslight men and subvert what they find appealing. Using relativity as an excuse.
Has the exact same root cause. Exhibited by women and it has nothing to do with femininity. By your logic this is toxic femininity. absurdity

@@CPSPD point completely went over your head. He was saying that putting something so vile in front of an honorable way to live is stupid.
And no, masculinity isn't just an idea? It's existence for males. But there's masculine men and less masculine men.
If you think male problems will be solved by just talking, you know nothing of psychology. Men do not respond well to "venting" type of therapy, they respond the best when given purpose. When given something to do. So whining about your feelings never solves anything, and it just makes you feel shit weak and useless.

If us men weren´t so confused about finding our purpose in life nowadays (i´m 23, about to turn 24 and haven´t made SHIT about myself in life yet) and if we didn´t lacked that father figure that we needed, not the one we thought we liked and wanted, then we all as a collective would´ve tear people´s ideologies like Andrew Tate apart, we would´ve been more empathetic about one another instead of "fck you i´m on my own" or making fun of the guys that didn´t have what you had, be it emotionally, physically and financiary, women would respect us more, we wouldn´t be uninstalling ourselves from life that much, etc.
It´s so crazy to think that one wrong move/thought in our childhoods and everything goes to shit later in life. Life is complex enough as it is, but you still gotta unravel all the shit you carry on your mind as a human, and even worse, add the psychological effect women have when the hormones kick. Both have our issues, but it seems we wanna play the "who´s more oppressed?" game.

there’s really a crisis with men due to feminism
i’m taking a women writers class about latin america for my spanish degree, and i’ve gotten to many insights into feminism.
feminism, which is now the basis for our modern american society, causes men to lose respect entirely because feminism’s ultimate goal is to turn men into women.
however, now that it’s happened women in the west are less attracted to their male counterparts than ever. the problem is that feminism IS the problem that’s causing this.
the fragility of gen x to emotions and women is why we have TWO consecutive generations now of emasculated men is the exact reason why men today are weaker than ever.

I worked as a zookeeper, now I'm a graduate vet, so I've both cared and raised wild species of mammals and if there's one implicit rule you need to abide to if you want to live is to respect the male's reproductive cycles. Males, almost entirely across the board, turn moody and violent when females in estrus are in the mix, and they can and will turn against ANYONE that they feel threatens their chance to mate. Even the mere scent of a female in estrus can turn an otherwise mild-mannered male into a ticking time bomb. Females on the other hand become more subdued and less inhibited during their estrus. Males on the other hand have to deal with a sudden surge of testosterone that makes them both sexually receptive and willing to fight in case competition shows up.
Humans aren't very different when it comes to instinct, some dudes are smarter, some dudes have more testosterone than others, so some are better suited to deal with the pent-up aggression than others.

I'd ask which one but... it's all of them.
Noah might be my absolute least favorite though, he's physically incapable of basic comprehension skills while simultaneously being repulsively condescending and that annoying ass "uWu look at me I'm one of the good wholesome soft boys. I'm not like the evil men that want to hurt you >:( please pat me on the head and say I'm one of the good ones :)"
He's a more articulate Pearlythings for teenage girls who discovered communism on tiktok.

@@GlitchPoachers Man I wish I noticed sooner. Also, some smaller content creators like yourself seem to have picked up on, and kinda combatted the same stuff, i.e. MentisWave, Thinking-Ape, ItsaGundam(not a huge fan but eh) whom seem to be tackling things in a team vs team sortof manner, to which I feel its important to note we as human beings are naturally inclined to draw connections between bizarre things, especially if we see something like a face in things that don't have faces... Oh, and also, attitudes & culture can really make us biased too! Its honestly scary to the extent to which it does! And its now painfully clear to me the trajectory that merely following attitudes alone and even constructing new ones from nothing but "oh this person looks weird/belongs to a group pre-established as weird based on prejeduce! So lets make public life a living hell for them!"-kinda reasoning, which, I see as heavily ironic, given that the people engaging in this behaviour often are the very ones saying they're trying to, well, be "pro-diversity"... Oh boy tho, we definitely should not make the mistake of critisizing people in the-legal-informative-sense based on just their looks, although their looks certainly do contribute to people thinking they're, well... Outsiders? Well damn... I'm really struggling to figure out how I should value looks and ideologies and keeping them seperate, but not completely dismiss their(anyones in general quite frankly) appearances as being tied to identity & ideologies... Afterall, I know for me, I'd probably be a totally different person if I was born a different person in a different body...
Oh right, we got standards!!! We got contexts!!! Able-bodied, non-able-bodied, & so on!!! Yeah, I feel like I'm having to constantly go over and review this stuff over and over in my head, day by day cause I keep forgetting it/forgetting to mention it! But... Man, its important to keep grounded these days lest we get tricked into picking a side, not based on our actual consenting agreement, but based on how bad/other emotions it makes us feel to NOT go with one side or another... as though our opinions define our identities, as do what we say, what we do and so on and so forth... which I've found that, not everything we do and say should be taken as part of our identities inherently, but also that not all of those things have the same values and that "nothing has values if it exists in a vacuum with no observers" o o f wait till someone misinterprets the "nothing has values" bit and assume the concept of nothing itself, is now having actual value if it exists in a vaccuum, although, while that wasn't what I was trying to say, maybe that's how the big bang hypothetically may have happened :P

The real "problem"(its not really a problem, its just natural quite frankly) though(in my subjective opinion), could be that we're all stumbling through "how do we assess the many things we come across in existing the way we are("Life")?(broadly-speaking)" and trying to come up with an answer - which, I'm honestly impressed that the barbie movie addressed patriarchy as trying to do that same thing, more specifically and more closely in their words, as "the struggle of being human, trying to answer questions and solve particular problems that they face". Of course, valuing particular things is still, entirely subjective for the most part, and it feels more and more like we aren't going to be allowed to learn for ourselves, cause making assumptions heard nowadays on ANY topics, is now a dice roll on whether or not it'll be allowed to be seen by anyone at all by the internet... To which I say, screw it, personally - and that I myself believe stuff like that should be denoted as something, and properly combatted with opinions contradicting and making people open minded to other possibilities!... atleast, it'd be better than censorship, is where I'm going with that, cause I don't think we can possibly get around these topics at the moment, without, well, you know... hurting peoples feelings... Still mind-blown by the fact that weather forecasts(not rescue & restoration efforts after such events, like with what happened in Puerto Rico way back when) and government standards on meat are still being kept true, even through all this corporate turmoil (Source for paraphrased info on weather & upkeep of food safety, Adam Conovers Netflix original, "The G Word" which I watched part of recently, not really sure if the dudes in some drama cause I saw "Adam something", literally, that text, on a youtube thumbnail from one of the videos of the aforementioned MentisWave dude).
Oh right, THE REAL ISSUE(as I just nailed it down I think? Its okay if I'm wrong, I'm just speculating afterall, I just have an awful tendancy to get emotionally attached to my ideas equally as much as the 'crazy people' do-no, not trying to dismiss them, its just shorthand, and I'm stating such cause I'm just so scared of being taken out of context or misinterpreted by anyone nowadays, even if I know they're not going to hurt me, cause someone else might regardless, but I'll try my best in social-operating life to not get hung up over this stuff like I do in my typed up stuff-, although to a much lesser extent I think) is people trying to force their solutions onto us... with their solutions being, well, not based in reality, but based entirely on emotional conviction.

To me, boys & men are taught that anger is the only acceptable emotion to display... which of course, could lead to future violence (making nature/nurture the better understanding).
Personally, I would say that making society so individual-based takes away from the strengths of a community. It's not fun struggling on your own, because you're often told "you're on your own to get through this mess".
That lack of guidance is something I had a lot of experience in (I'm 31 years old, for the record), and I'd hate to see it continue for future generations of boys and men. To be given little to no advice, and then thrown the keys to life... that's not going to pan out well. The only thing different would be the result. A sheltered goody two shoes like me might get burnt out. A rebellious kid would keep the streak going as he gets older.
