Join me for a 15 Minute Hula Hoop Workout. We start off slow and ease into the workout. A great one to help you wake up, so add it to your morning exercise routine.
A great way to start the day! Suitable for beginners! More experienced hoopers can work controlling their dance moves as we run through the exercise routine!
    In this video we will…
💥 Hula hoop for a full 15 minutes
    💥 Keep the energy high
    💥 Hoop on both sides
    Warm up and cool down.
I have not included any warm up or cool down in this video. However I advise that you do this before and after your hula hoop workout.
Check out my 10 minute warm up routine here: • Pre Workout Warm Up: 1...
    Yes, we spin both ways!
We hoop in both directions which is essential for even muscle development. I know this can be hard if you’re not used to it. So you can always build up strength on your weaker side by simply waist hooping with your arms in neutral. Repeat this video and eventually you’ll be a able to do everything with ease :)
    Which Hoop?
This is great workout for using a heavy dance hoop. I’m using a 100cm diameter dance hoop with 25mm thickness tubing. You can equally use your weighted hoop for this workout or any heavy hoop you feel comfortable hula hooping with.
    Which Hoop?
This is great workout for using weighted hula hoops. However you can equally use your favourite heavy dance hoop.
Mine is 110cm | 43" in diameter with a metal core and foam.
    It weighs 1.3kg | 2.8lb.
    SUGGESTED HOOPS:
These links show the design of hoop that I'd suggest for both Weighted Hoops and Heavy Dance Hoops 😎

Thank you for this. I'm 60 years old and finding that a hula hooping workout is not only for physical fitness ,it's perfect for mental fitness/ brain train for focus and clarity. Get rid of the meds which make you a zombie. It's an awesome way to start off the morning. The rhythm is therapeutic. You can't help but smile when you're doing it, which is great for relieving anxiety and depression, replacing it with a feeling of exuberance.

Is it important to do both your strong and weaker side?

    • @hoopplusfitwithscarlett7787
      @hoopplusfitwithscarlett7787  3 роки тому +1

Good question! Yes! If you hoop regularly you will start to feel your core strength improve and particularly your back. However when we hoop in one direction we don't work the muscles evenly across the core. So its a good idea to hoop in both directions in order to ensure even muscle development.
In extreme cases, when a person trains for hours every day, this could even cause injury. If you are not hooping very often it won't make much of a difference. However hooping in your weaker direction also helps to improve the good direction. So its totally worth it and does get easier 😉
