Finally a real guy review. I went through exactly the same situation. I just came from Walmart and saw the same options. Again, awesome review. Liked and subscribed. Keep the reviews up brother
I appreciated your review. I've seen several videos, and the biggest so called failure of the Camillus was the inability of it to pass the paper slicing test right after removing it from the packaging. Sheesh! I sharpen anything that requires it before attempting any serious chopping, fileting or whatever. I was pleased with my machete the first time and ever since. Y'all keep up the good work.
You should have gone with the Gerber machete. The Carnivore is indeed full-tang BUT the tang through the handle is only about as wide as a pencil....which is why they're known for the blade snapping off.
I have both the carnivore and a short ozark trail. I’ll take the little green handled over the carnivore any day of the week. It’s just a better size, weight and the blade is actually decent for the price. Carnivore is a bit awkward. Go grab that Ozark Trail. That fucker is awesome.
Definitely better than a Wally World machete. But if you really want a top notch machete that isn't expensive???? Get a Tramontina. It's the best. I own about all of em and it's the best. The Carnivore is nice as well
I live in the jungle in Hawaii. Tramontina is the best of the best. Cheap too. Buy 2.18 &22 inch. I cut huge trees with it. 60+ feet. 15 inch diameter. Thin brush anything. Just rinse it when done using. It'll last 25+ years if cared for
@@411Outdoors Nice, not bad at all I had the 12" version for 6 years finally broke as a result of two machetes hitting a peice of wood, the Ozark one came down on the camulis and the camulis broke I'll be ordering the 18" in December

Thanks bro! Have a blessed day
You have to see the samuri sword swinging and use the same tactic to cut bushes. It's like butter
👍
