Thanks for this very nice video. I’m a big fan of Andy’s work and it was a pleasure to learn a bit more about him.
On the subject of people bringing to much gear on expeditions, I think you should take into account the fact that for most people, a trip to Lofoten, Patagonia, Namibia, etc … is a one in a lifetime experience. And with that in mind, you really don’t want to miss an opportunity for a great shot. So yes, I tend to bring with me enough gear to cover every focal length from 15mm to 200mm (even 600 mm at times), plus a drone and it is very cumbersome, but I’d rather do that than arriving at a scene and realising that I can’t get the photo I’m inspired to take because I wanted a lighter bag.
