@@Mike-xb7lh Brother, when they say Bob's craft they mean the whole thing. The technique, the relaxed feeling, the mannerisms, the entertainment, everything. It's really not that deep to get so defensive as it completely goes against everything this stands for. This is a happy place, so just let yourself go and just be.

I'll be honest, I started watching this video with a negative mindset. I was thinking " This guy is probably gonna mess up the whole Bob Ross vibes".... 2 minutes into the video and now I'm hoping you never stop posting videos. Thank you Nic for keeping it alive. You're absolutely wonderful!
You can ell Nic is clearly inspired by Bob and his incredible legacy. Nic really manages to pay homage to Bob without trying to be a Bob Ross copycat. Love these new works, great job.

The more I watch the more I think Nic is a wonderful host, and an excellent pick. Its never felt like he was trying to be the "new bob"; he's just giving back to the community by showing that anyone is capable of learning from Bob and interpreting the techniques and styles in their own way.
I dont imagine Nic is the only certified instructor there is, and Bob had guests on the show all the time! I would love to see more certified bob ross instructors demonstrating their own interpretations of the style.
I cringed when he whistled while using the red. Bro is trying to be Bob so badly and it’s uncomfortable to watch.

I sure hope to see more of Nic on PBS. I'm an avid painter that started with 6 classes of Bob Ross method but have switched to acrylics and every time I watch i get more tips to apply to my acrylics. Nic is truly Bob 2.0😊

My life has taken a hard curve ball.... i have always worked in trades. I decided i needed something new to do to keep my mind clear and my hands busy. I am 3 paintings in and people think i sent them a photograph when i sent then a pic not believeing what i just created myself😅. Thank you all for doing what you do.

Nic does an amazing job of keeping Bob's work and spirit alive. Even the cadence of his voice reminds me of the old series. Would love to see a Joy of Painting 2.0 show back on a streaming service of some sort again with Nic at the helm.

I would be really interested to see a longer and detailed painting in this style. I read that Bob Ross would go back after the show and do a very detailed longer version of the painting and it was usually the best one (since the 30 minute version had some drawbacks due to the fast time he had to paint). I'd just wonder what it would look like with more details and more carefully crafted background foliage, mountain, lake, etc.
I do fallow every detail that is possible ,my problem is the tres colors
