My favorite part of any show of Bob Ross is just how damn happy he gets by cleaning off his brush. I can't help but get happy too

It's 2am and I was desperate to do something good with my life and wondering if I could ever do something at all.
The thing is, I realized something huge in the middle of the video.
Bob Ross teach us how to paint, but way more than that, he teaches us to believe in our own skills and that we can do things by ourselves.
Knowing that you can do something is powerful. Hearing someone telling you you are allowed to makes mistakes and that you're not a failure and can do things is relieving.
Thank you, Bob Ross. I truely needed that.

I have to say this. I think Bob Ross is teaching us beyond the oil painting technique, it is his attitude that he spread that makes so much difference. I don't believe tat I could paint without a tutor, but with his video and his words, eventually you will believe that it is ok to make mistake because eventually it wil turns out fine. I painted this by myself and the satisfaction is enormous! I might be a bit dramatic but I feel like he is conveying some important life message and attitudes to us. God bless him!

I actually painted along with him and I kept getting emotional because I could truly feel him just encouraging me to stop being so perfect and work with what the paint is choosing to do. I am actually very proud of how I did haha.

I noticed that (I’ve been having a little trouble sleeping) watching Bob Ross really helped me fall asleep! If there wasn’t any audio from the painting itself, this would be one of those sleep meditation videos. His voice is just oddly... soothing? But yeah watch this at night and you might see this too!

So I’m often asked who my favorite painter of all time as I get questions like if it’s da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rafael but there’s always this one man that always sticks out to me who will always be my favorite painter of all time and that man is Bob Ross

@@drmegasteve4335 it didn't go as planned! I nearly threw it out halfway through out of frustration, but decided to try and fix it. It didn't turn out like Bob's (I abandoned the video when it wasn't working for me), but I like the end result.

I just recreated this painting. Took me two hours and it ended up about 1/20 as good. Can't mimic a legend but I can appreciate his work.
Those moments when he just made the mountains out of nothing never fails to just drop my jaw. Utterly incredible.

You know how you have to squeeze your eyes to se some painting like they are real, well bob Ross paintings are so good it’s like staring on a beautiful picture.
I love to paint but I have never been the best at it. Bob helped me realize that as long as you had fun, it doesn't matter the outcome. You only need your art to validate yourself. If YOU don't like it than try again, if others don't like it, who cares they weren't there for the process, they didn't work hard on that piece of art. Art isn't about others it's about you. RIP bob we didn't deserve you. Now you are back in your Home angel. ❤️
It's cool to hear Bob speak about painting as the creation of his own world. That's an interesting view of painting.
He makes amazing paintings like this in under thirty minutes. if I were to attempt something like that, it would probably take over two days
