All Bob ever wanted was to encourage people to paint. I feel like Nicholas has honored his memory so wonderfully. My first TV memories as a child were always Bob Ross. Now 40+ years later I continue to watch and see his legacy lives on. Can’t wait to see more. We love and miss you Bob. ❤

As a kid I loved to play & I had responsibilities too but I always wanted to set aside that time to get comfy on the couch and just watch Bob paint & speak in such a soothing tone whilst sometimes showing video of "little critters" he'd take care of... Back then I had no idea this man so gentle and soft-spoken had even been in the military. I wonder if perhaps he's been painting masterpieces in Heaven all of these years or perhaps just enjoying the "masterpiece" of Heaven itself. His legacy certainly lives on here.
his show wasn't about painting, 99.99% of everyone who watched had no intention to paint...it was his personality and ability to induce relaxation and calmness and help take away anxiety and stress...what he wss doing wasn't about painting..oh to a few people sure but not the vast majority, i know a lot of people who watched his show including me and none of them paint..tons of people know him and his show and don't paint at all. so if you think his show is about paintring..thats secondary to what he was doing.

Nic, I love it when you do tutorials and really like the extra amount of time in your videos. I realize that Bob only had 30 minutes but the added time in your videos helps me a lot with the details. Please do more tutorials! I’ve watched all of Bob’s videos and learned a lot but I can learn even more from seeing the techniques and perspectives from other artists, like you. Thank you for your videos and for giving us a place to see all of Bob’s. I started painting last year and it’s because of your channel. I’ve found so much joy and peace from painting. You’re truly keeping the dream alive!
I’ve always wondered… in the past, did Nic, as a little boy, see the show on TV and told his parents, “This is my future. I want to be like my hero Bob Ross!” If that’s true, Nic’s dream has come true. ❤❤❤

I really like mountains painted with a variety of brown colors instead of mostly snow. Thanks for doing the mountains this way! I like your tree branches too. That's always something I need to work on doing better and this will be a good pattern for me to practice with especially since you went slow enough that I can see what you're doing.

Wow those reflections with the different colors look absolutely amazing. The blue trees looked funky at first but once they were all done I really like the added color to the overall scene.
It's always a real treat to watch you painting Nic, you make your amazing painting skills so easy to follow . I think it's wonderful how you inspire people to try the Bob Ross Method . I enjoy using this method and i always paint a red roofed Cabin in all my paintings as a tribute to Bob Ross.
I know that being on UA-cam is allowing for more freedom and time with these one hour specials and PBS would likely limit episodes to 30 minutes; however I still think PBS should most definitely give Nic his own show and bring back a modern weekly version of what we used to have with Bob. I would absolutely love that and I know millions of others out there would as well!

My grandma was a certified bob ross instructor, she used to have us painting amazing paintings when we where only 7 or 8 years old. I still have some of them

Im glad they finally moved forward. As devastating as it is to have lost Bob at such a younger age, painting doesnt stop. I wish they had gotten someone sooner to keep the Joy of Painting moving forward. They only other thing I would like to see happen with the painting is evolving. I was trained as a CRI to use the brushes with the technique, but there is nothing wrong with expanding your tools , tools that make things easier or create even better effects.
What a beautiful painting. You know Something Nick, i people dont take this the wrong way or rude, But you have a soothing voice like the Late Great Mr. BOB ROSS... U would make a wonderful New Bob Ross. Its wonderful how you all keep Mr. ROSS's passion alive. Its so soothing watching and painting.
So wonderful 😍 In the 80's I loved to see Bob in the Joy of painting. Here in Germany I could watch it on school TV in the morning ❤. Even if I couldn't understand everything in this age, I couldn't stop watching. Especially when he was slapping the brush and laughing about it ❤and his Squirrels🐿️🐿️❤ I'm such a big fan 😍
