Maybe there are people who do not understand Jordan simply decide that what he is trying to understand is pointless. Or mabe there is political bias, which would be a shame. You have to really dig in to get the essence. I used to think the same way, but he's obviously a smart man.. he must be up to something right? He is often misinterpreted as advocating for religion. Peterson uses works similar to someone saying “That dress works for me (looks good to me)” it’s an expression of an opinion on the benefits of adhering to the texts, you ought learn from the text so you can have a working life (functional)
This is different than Dawkins and his reference to quantum mechanics because quantum mechanics will be how it is, we just guess the outcome and if we guess close enough it works, Bible interpretation, moral interpretation, historical and personal context and simple mood changes prevents anything close to a working prediction of biblical texts (which it doesn’t claim it is, so either Jp falls into Humes gap fails to distinguish reality from fiction

Richard Dawkins view is as absurd as the atheist who says I don’t accept in God and the Bible because it defies the laws of science and nature
    Why?
Let’s imagine for a second we’re in Minecraft
And Alex says I don’t believe in notch and the book that says he existed because the book that says he existed defies the code of Minecraft
    Why is this illogical?
    Simple
Notch isn’t bound by the code of Minecraft thus he can put on “God mode” so to speak and bend Minecraft to his will, not the other way around
Similarly God isn’t bound by his creation or by “science” or by “laws of nature” he is the arbiter of all existence and isn’t bound by his creation
