Thank you Deborah, we'll all need inspiration during this time.
So good to put a face with the voice. Love your work and guidance. I'm a beginner and have learned at great deal from your tutorials. Thanks again for all of your help.

Thank you Deborah . Stay safe .👋 from Italy 😘
Oh Wilma, from gorgeous Italy! I've only been there once, but it was a wonderful experience. Would love to return one day (when all this mess passes us by!). I hope you're staying safe and well.
I just found you and want to thank you for reaching out to the art community during this time with love.
Thank you, very thoughtful of you.
You're welcome, San. I'm so sorry I didn't reply yesterday ... so many posts coming through that I missed some late last night!
Thank you you're inspiring.
You're welcome, Fran. Apologies for not replying last night .... lots of messages and I must have missed a couple. It was very late (night) here when I was looking!
Thank you Deborah. Been following you for some time.
Thanks Geraldine - stay tuned for what's coming along. I'm formulating ideas from everyone's replies!
What a very nice surprise! Thank-you for all you do!
You're most welcome! Trying to bring a little joy into people's lives right now (and it helps me get through it, too!)
Thank you 🙏
You're most welcome, Maria. Stay tuned for more ... :)
Thank you
Glad to do what I can. We all need to keep our spirits up - what a great community of creatives we have!
Something from you caught my notice on Pinterest. Inktense on Fabric. Stitch first, paint later. I would love to see you do something on that subject. I didn't find your tutorial on the subject. I have Inktense chalk and pencils, and would love to learn to use them with fabric. Thanks so much! Glad I found you. I'm in North Carolina, USA. At home, and doing lots of art.
Hello, Deborah. I am interested in super, duper beginner things. :) Thanks. I am in Guilford, Connecticut USA
Hi Trish! Super duper! Food for thought! I'll see what I can do!! Putting it on my list now. Thank you!
Thank you for reaching out to our artistic community! Creating is more than art. It stimulates and releases so much positive energy. I believe we're looking forward to your healing art videos. East Coast USA
Thank you so much! You are quite right. Creativity not only gives us something positive to focus on, but helps with our mental health at times like this. I'm going to gradually put together a range of things, as time permits!
Thank you!
Hi Deborah, this is really inspiring. This is something I'd like to learn. Also thanks for your thoughtfulness in these difficult times. I'm from the NSW central coast.
Hi Karen - I think it helps us all to know that we are not alone and that art and creativity can unite us (remotely, so to speak!). I'm getting many great requests, so will put all the ideas into the mix over the next few days. Thanks for responding. Hope you're ok up there in NSW (where I grew up)
@@DeborahWirsuTextileArtist that's wonderful. I need something to take my mind off this awful virus. (I've crocheted so much I've run out of wool, but I sew as well.)
@@karistone1297 Thanks Karen - yes, these are not easy times we're all going through. I'm glad you sew as well - good to have choice!
What an amazing gesture🙏🏼 Thank you so very much ❤️ From Queensland with love xx
Hi Shana - thank you so much. I think it helps us all to try to come together when the world throws things at us that we'd rather not experience. We're all in this together and we can get through it together. Art will help. I'll keep you posted!
Thank you! Your generous gesture will certainly help with my "social distancing/ self isolating".
Hi Ainslie ... glad to help where I can. We can still be 'together' even when we're apart, if you know what I mean! It's good for me, too!
, thank you for posting such a beautiful video and sharing your knowledge as a felt maker and a sculptures, thread sketching is something I do for The decoration and it is always a challenge since it's not my main skill, and that is one of the reasons I subscribed to your channel and I can honestly say I am very glad that I did it. thank you once more and keep sharing the good energy it always helps to see one is not alone in this ugly world
Oh, how right you are! We are not alone and the world will recover, even if we're not quite sure when that will be. I think I'd go crazy right now if I didn't have this to do and if I can help just a few people feel better (and learn something) then it's worthwhile. :)
Thank you so much😍 doing this for the first time and so very creative, didn’t know I had this art in me 🥰🥰
Hi Jeanette ... I'm much more comfortable talking 'behind' the screen, but decided it was time to embrace it! :). I'll keep you all posted on what's coming along.
Would love to see some instructions on blending thread colours.
Will do, Chris! Sorry I missed your post last night ... so many to read!
How very thoughtful of you Deborah.....I love thread sketching and FME....but how about you play some of your music, albeit without the orchestra, to calm and relax us? Best wishes and thanks from the U.K.....
Hi Barbara - eeek! Not sure about playing the viola for you! Nice idea though. Maybe ... !! :)
thank you so much! so glad I found you, I really need a kick in the behind to get creating again. Fabric postcards have been passion for many years, but burned out last year and haven't made any since Christmas. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. yes, stay safe, stay health, happy and stitching.
Thank you - that's so kind. I have a Sweet Sixteen and would be grateful for any tips on using it for thread sketching.
Hi Sue - I envy you your Sweet Sixteen! But thread sketching is thread sketching - as long as you can work free motion there are many ways to use it. I'll keep you posted on what's coming along over the next few weeks.
thanks for your offer. I'd like help with colour blending and texture in free motion quilting/
Thanks! A few other people have requested that too! It's on my list :)
Thank you - lovely. I would love to see how to sew people, what to sew on and... I mean such people heavily sewn i different colors. I am Pellemor9 on Instagram
Thanks for responding, Pip. Great suggestion! I'm compiling a list of suggestions and will work through them bit by bit.
Hi from canada. I have done some landscape but hesitate to start each time as i need to set up the basics..sky, land first .I tend to block. Right now i would like to prepare the backgrd for making my childhood home. So there is sky, oak trees in back and then the house fills most of the space. Someone said i should make the house separately, then add it on.??? For now what is my base backing, interfacing, front
